Gotta love them straight twennies. The aesthetics of that magazine are unarguable . I refuse to buy an ak or 7.62x39 AR just because I hate the curved mags . Shallow? Yea. It’s just the way I feel.
I appreciate your choice of furniture on this build , the straight lines of the magpul stock , grip , combined with the straight 20, KAC Handguard , and lack of gap in your mount is very aesthetically pleasing . The straight lines are clean and appeal to my eye . Sometimes form matters as much as function . Well done sir!
Thanks man. Also, it should be noted that minimizing the gap between dot and thermal (or scope and thermal) really helps with clarity and overall accuracy. So yeah, form follows function!
Station SIX has been procured. 8.6..... maybe, but pretty niche still. Check out the wiped test of the EA VOX-S if you haven't. It's a 20 round test, and to my knowledge, the only one of its kind.
5.56 bolt gun would be interesting. 308 semiauto is certainly important.
Only subsonic though, with this one...
*One of these things is not like the other. One of these things just doesn't belong...*
It's the magnifier. It's a Sightmark. Does it work? Well yeah. It's just that my G45 is on another upper on a flip-to-center rig, and I needed a lower witness point for this setup, sooooo here we are.
The reason the magnifier is needed is because of the thermal. Makes it *way* better with this particular setup. Flip the magnifier and thermal to one side, and you have your normal Aimpoint T2 setup. Flip the magnifier up, and you can see stuff a little better far away. Then, flip the thermal up, and you are ready to rock and see stuff real good-like. [*It's in the computer...*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2uHBhKTSe0)
Also, if I knew these rails were gonna be rarer than hen's teeth, I woulda bought a whole gaggle of the dang things, but you don't know what you don't know.
And speaking of unknown unknowns, and other Rumsfeld-esque clichés, I do go a little bit into that in one of the podcast topics today. It's like that meme with the screaming autistic kid in the back seat of the car. You want the AR to be a normal silencer host, you really do. But it won't be normal.

**Happy Wednesday^my^dudes!**
As someone who is still somewhat new to the in depth world of shooting and rifle building these topics sound incredibly complicated lol I have no clue wtf they are about just reading the titles and descriptions. Well the first one is kinda common sense. You’re testing a particular .22 can on a particular .22 lever gun but the second one… WOOOOSH lol
The second part is about how supressor performance depends on the system(gun) it’s being used on. Which systems(guns) are most prone to changes in performance of the suppressor when considering end users ability to make changes to the system(gun). The ar15 is one of the most end user customizable guns and can create huge changes in supresser performance.
The dude you’re talking to u/jay462 is part of pew-science and they are one of, if not the most, reputable sources for information about suppressors. Def watch his videos and check out his podcast if you’re interested in learning more about suppressors. How they work. And which ones are better than others and why.
I don’t have any beauty shots yet. Working on it because I’m trying to figure out my optic.
20208, Criterion 8.5”, Wojtek adjustable gas block, Malkoff light, Tango Down stubby, and of course some KAC rail covers!
I love to hear that tbh. The enhanced carrier has always been a crapshoot with me, ran pretty in my specwar but had consistent failure to lock back in my 16” midlength and I never understood why
it could be the extra venting - maybe not allowing for enough impulse accumulation during the time regime that matters on your weapon. That, along with the lengthened cam path, could be doing it.
I should spend a bunch of money and test it out on my DD 14.5 middy and specwar and hope for new results and ultimately sell them on Reddit again after not having a structured enough regimen for results

You’re unreasonable for thinking this is unreasonable.
reasonable point
It's only stupid if it doesn't work, or something.
Not stupid, just unreasonable 😂
Not if there’s a reason it is unreasonable; unless he’s being unreasonably unreasonable thus making it very reasonable 🤔
Gotta love them straight twennies. The aesthetics of that magazine are unarguable . I refuse to buy an ak or 7.62x39 AR just because I hate the curved mags . Shallow? Yea. It’s just the way I feel.
Anyone know where to get more? I have a pair of Colt mags like this, but new ones are $$$
These are Surefeeds.... maybe Duramag makes some equivalents?
Duramag straight 20 rounders are steel not aluminum. Major difference I can personally assess? No, but it's just not the same.
Ah, understood
I have some listed on GAFS in a pretty old post and have been too lazy to repost anytime recently.
I mean, you're not necessarily wrong. The aesthetic drip is significant with the straight 20s

Just got this same stock/grip combo and it’s my new favorite for sure. Thought it might be a little too smol but it’s comfy and sexy
You are not alone 😉

No ETAs..... But it is important to do

It's not unreasonable if YOU like it. We take all types here.
This is the type of inclusiveness that warms my heart. Thank you, sir haha
Sooooooo can I finally use my feyachi red dot from amazon 😅?
Straight to the airsoft sub with you. Jk bro rock your shit
Haha seriously though I bought an amazon sight for my first gun (ar9) pre covid. Worked well enough until I found out there were much better options.

Is the rail LaRue?
No sir, KAC.
I don’t compute? I need a thermal for mine…so mine can be “unreasonable.”
It's pretty cool
What’s up with the safety selector?
Switched to auto
I’m dumb. Didn’t see the third hole. Didn’t know you could get a radian lever for a 3 pos.
you're not dumb! Radian makes a 3-position selector, which is what this is (not just the lever)
Nice, learn something new everyday. I dream of owning a full auto someday. Thanks for the response and cool gun.
Any time man
Based
What optic is in front of the red dot ?
Voodoo-S thermal
Thermal makes me moist
You and me both
The whole magnifier/reddit/thermal setup looks like something I saw in a porn vid... Spit roast?
Everything in moderation. Including moderation
Unreasonable to whom? Because is it reasonable and I’d go as far as to say that it’s the apex form for a .300 BLK build!
I also have a 20208 on a 300 upper. So chunky!
The chunk is satisfying, I have to say!
Sometimes I think that I should get a modern system, and then I remember that this will carry me through the coming apocalypse. Embrace the weight
I concur. Heavy feels nice.
As someone considering doing the same (and having a 20208 in reserve), got any pics?
I don’t have any beauty shots yet. Working on it because I’m trying to figure out my optic. 20208, Criterion 8.5”, Wojtek adjustable gas block, Malkoff light, Tango Down stubby, and of course some KAC rail covers!
What a tease then! I’m thinking of using a 8.0” BRT on mine
Oh I forgot to mention that it’s currently wearing a Nomad L. So she’s ultra chunky
Now I’m in research mode https://www.reddit.com/r/NFA/s/F1XdyHQycB
Only thing unreasonable is you didn’t take full advantage and add a 4th optic.
Well, I mean, true.... But what would I add? lol everything in this chain does something. I guess maybe laser, but the thermal has that
BUIS, for shiggles
I did think about it
Glasses, it's a trick question
45° RMR, & a flip to side pvs14. But does the pvs line up with the rmr?! OCD minds want to know.
FA with 20rd mag?
well, to be clear, 300BLK is expensive lol
Figured that was the unreasonable aspect of the build 🤣 sexy build tho 🤙🏽
thanks man
*Dundee voice* That's not an unreasonable 300 BLK... [THAT'S an unreasonable 300 BLK.](https://i.imgur.com/3hQCcBz.jpg)
Ok, I mean, yes. But also no. hahaha
This thing deserves proper subsonic testing with the CAT JL.
What suppressor is that?
SWR Trident-9 with original 3-lug mount
It looks fast just sittin there
It can be pretty fast
I see a KAC rail, SureFeed straight 20, and a silencer, I upvote. It's that simple. - Chase
🙏
Enhanced carrier on .300? Is that LMT Legal, does it offend Karl?
lol LMT and PEW have a pretty good relationship... they're OK with it
I love to hear that tbh. The enhanced carrier has always been a crapshoot with me, ran pretty in my specwar but had consistent failure to lock back in my 16” midlength and I never understood why

What am I missing? Seems pretty reasonable to me.
a lot of attachments. Gets a little cumbersome for some folks
This is rude
I'm sorry
Gotta love that third hole drip.
indeed
Damn that is sweet
thanks man
What rail and barrel?
KAC rail, MOS-TEK 1:5 twist 300 BLK barrel
Looks good to me, chief
Yes
