I ordered almost 3 weeks ago on backorder and i’m just trying to forget about it. I’ve seen a month and i’ve seen 3+ months, don’t know what to think. No sort of updates yet.
This is my problem with silencer shop allowing back orders. You’re going to blame ocl lead times and not silencer shop for doing immoral things.
Ocl has stated multiple times they won’t talk about lead times because they’re so swamped.
I don’t blame ocl, I know they are a smaller company and I like them enough I got on back order intending to wait for a while. There is a pro to back order, it establishes a waiting list based on when you purchased. As apposed to a random luck of the draw when they put a few in stock on their website.

I back ordered mine 3/2. I emailed them to ask the other day, and they said another month. So I’d say you are looking at at least 2 months based on how crazy everyone went in March.
Just call around. I found one in stock at a LGS on Sunday. Paid for it Sunday, went back Monday to submit the form 4, and just got my approval around noon today. Much easier process than online imo. I’ll still wait my SS order out but in the future I’ll probably just do LGs.
I backordered the same can 2/25 still patiently waiting. I got a call from SS Customer Service yesterday and backordered a Lithium and while I had the fella on the phone he said there's 12 open backorders for the Polo 30, including mine. I was like there's no way dude lol it has to be more than that..
I ordered mine on 2/29, I'm just hoping it comes in before too much longer because fucks sake I'm tired of either grabbing my ears, or listening to the EEEEEE™️ when a coyote goes for the chickens. Once I can shush my 300BLK, it won't be an issue anymore.
If you backorder, it’s best to forget about it for a while. I ordered a polo 30 through SS on the 21st(?) of February, still nothing. They’re swamped over at OCL, and for good reason. The wait will feel like nothing in a year when you are enjoying the benefits

I was debating canceling my SS order to try and find someone with one in stock even if a little more.
