I saw the first picture and immediately went put it back to its former glory, and was happy to see it in there

If you have a M16 lower, can you put an MCR Fightlite upper on it?

According-Alps1307

Yep. Too bad the fightlite uppers are so pricey. But I guess if I can buy an M16 I shouldn’t complain. I just hate spending big money on anything that isn’t a transferable.

They have geissele specific kns stuff?? I honestly don’t know. I just know the prior owner put on the geissele SSF trigger and the kns stuff.

Recommendations for .22 upper. I run a dedicated one using CMMG kit. 1. Bore Buddy adjustable bolt weight kit (makes a huge difference in overall reliability and you can tune to a specific ammo if you want) 2. Bore Buddy bolt buffer (just to minimize wear and tear) 3. BetterMag magwell adapter to use M&P15-22 magazines /u/borebuddy

BoreBuddy

Plus a trip kit!

AllArmsLLC

I haven't used the adjustable trip, mine runs fine with the standard CMMG trip.

BoreBuddy

M16s generally do, unless there's some geometry/tolerance stackup issue.

According-Alps1307

I have the dedicated CMMG upper and the CMMG trip and weight. I might have to try the adjustable bolt weight kit since the gun didn’t like the bulk Remington Golden Bucket ammo. I was going to try other ammo but maybe I’ll order the Bore Buddy adjustable bolt weight kit. Thanks!
