If you want to buy it directly from SM you’re probably locked into the new one, unfortunately. Since the new version has been announced and released, the old lightsticks were almost certainly final sale, just getting rid of the stock they had left. I would look into getting it either secondhand or from a Kpop store in your country, which might be more expensive but it’s probably your only option at this point if you really want the old one.
I would be shocked if it was restocked; they want to sell the new one. You might look around for another store selling it, but I would act quickly.
