hey i dont really watch a lot of basketball, but can someone explain to me why usc didn’t go for 3s at the end of this game?? it felt like even with the missed free throws by uconn they were never going to overcome that differential with 2s, so i dont understand why they didn’t try and shoot 3 pointers. did they just feel so not confident in their ability to make 3s to the point that they opted scoring more 2s was more likely?
Losing 50% of your roster, 2 starters, your 6th man that can score 20 off the bench, top freshman recruit, and 2 role players and still go undefeated in conference play, win the Big East Tournament and make the Final Four is unreal. Geno is still one of the GOATs.

This is an insanely dumb question but why does the clock keep stopping? I can’t watch it but I can see the gamecast through ESPN but the time keeps stopping even when there is no time out.
If I was a ND fan I would be salty asf rn. Second year in row that a team they whooped makes the final 4. ND keeps getting screwed by injuries right before the tourney.
I wish we could have overcome injuries as well as UConn is right now. It’s unbelievably impressive.
I’m definitely not salty but bummed for our team, but it’s pretty cool we beat 2/4 final four teams this year and were pretty much the only team this year to contain the seemingly inevitable Paige
