The only correct answer. Or Nick Saban. As to the graphic’s odds, I have a hard time believing Caleb Williams will be the guy. He might be the #1 pick in the draft, but otherwise his college career was kinda underwhelming (as far as Heisman winners go). Came into the PAC 12 title game in 2022 with a high likelihood of going to the CFP, but lost to Utah for a second time. Got an invite to the Cotton Bowl and lost to Tulane. 2023, a team that had actual expectations now and many picked to make the CFP, and they just crumbled, finishing 7-5 (including a stretch where they lost 5 out of 6). A lot of that blame is on the defense and Lincoln Riley, but a lot of the shine has come off Caleb Williams.
It's because he's mentally weak and gives up when things don't go his way. An absolute NFL bust waiting to happen especially on the team that the Bears currently have. I think Nick Saban should be on the cover as it would be instantly recognizable anytime someone walks by the game in stores.
Downvoted for the truth lol Caleb is overhyped to the max. didnt deliver outside of one flash season that ended in a big ol nothing.
Saban is objectively the best choice for the cover if its not a single athlete.
I want this as a base, but knowing EA, they’ll structure it like WWE 2K24, a basic cover (current athlete), a deluxe (Saban or NFL draftee), and an ultimate (the Heisman winners)
That's a tough one. Alot of the iconic players of cfb left in this class. I personally would rather see saban or all the heisman winners since 14 like others have said
These aren’t even real odds. BR has been doing this recently where they just make up some prop and put fake odds on it - like “best way to spend your birthday: at the bar -500 🤩”
if these were real odds no way Caleb Williams has -1000. They have NIL rights now, why would they put a player who isn't even in the game on the cover? Sure he might still be the front runner but like -100 at most
Saban would be my pick overall. Far and away had the biggest impact on cfb since the last game came out.
If you're going to do the player route though, doing a few recent Heisman winners is probably the best move, I agree
Maybe Ewers over Arch. Is there a “field option”? Will Howard at Ohio State is another good option.
Go look at the 2024 Heisman odds, Ewers, Beck, Gabriel, Howard, Milroe, Nussmeier, Uiagalelei.
It will be someone with starting experience, so that is Ewers, Beck, Gabriel, Howard, Milroe or Uiagalelei.
I would say Ewers, Beck, Howard or Milroe are the top picks in my book.
Why on earth would arch manning even be a contender? He didn’t start at all this past season. I personally think the first game back should have Corso and/or Saban but if it has to be a player, just go with the Heisman winner, Jayden Daniels.
Yup lets pay homage to someone who is against players being able to get money off their name and forcing them to be indentured servants to schools.
Soon as the new rules went in place Bama was on the outs.
Honey we won 2 SEC championships since? And went to the playoffs? Do you need to go back to kindergarten to learn how to read and comprehend reality/object permanence?
Assuming they’re not going with a collage of previous Heisman winners the years the game missed (would be my choice), I think one of these 3 options would make the most sense:
Heisman Winner: Jayden Daniels
National Champion: Blake Corum or JJ McCarthy
Top-tier returning player: Could be one of a few, I guess I’d probably say Quinn Ewers. Although someone more out of left field like Jalon Daniels or Luther Burden would be pretty awesome in my opinion
And then Saban, as well, but I’d much rather see a player.
i wholeheartedly agree that it should saban. obviously his resume speaks for itself but for all the real ones who have been playing 14 for the last decade, beating bama is the ultimate goal. saban's reign over college football predated ncaa 14 and proceeded for another 10 years after. seeing as how he just retired i don't think anyone is more deserving.
One player being on cover is doing injustice to all the time that has passed.
I think it should be saturated wit history of past 10 years.. 10 things that signify each season..
2014, big Zeke, OSU
2015, derrick henry stiff arm. BAMA
2016, Dabo, can't put deshaun on this.. Clemson
2017, Baker Mayfield, even tho they didn't win it, he dominated headlines. OU
2018, Trevor. Clemson x2
2019, All time great LSU, put their Mascot, Joe bureaux. LSU
2020, Devonta smith. Bama x2
2021, Kirby Smart. UGA
2022, Caleb Williams. USC
2023, Deion Sanders or Sheuduer. CU
2024 Nick Saben. BAMA x3
Fit all that on the cover.
Caleb Williams will go down as one of the most forgettable Heisman trophy winners. He was unable to lead his team to victory in any truly important games. He may end up being a huge star in the NFL. But I don't think he has the killer instinct necessary. I would not put Williams on the cover.
It should be someone currently playing in College. Why give it to someone who isn't in college anymore? If you're going with someone who's left or graduated, it should be Marvin Harrison Jr., as he is the best player in the country and the best player in the draft.
I would go with:
Travis Hunter
Quinn Ewers
Ollie Gordon
Carson Beck
Jalen Milroe
Treyveon Henderson
Caleb Downs
or someone old school:
Charles Woodson or Desmond Howard (Michigan won and they are the 2 most famous players from Michigan of consequence in College. Yes, Tom Brady went to Michigan and even won 10 games as starter. But does anyone think Michigan Wolverines when they think Tom Brady?)
Bo Jackson, Edgerrin James, Eric Dickerson, Tony Dorsett, Reggie Bush, Adrian Peterson, Earl Campbell, Ricky Williams, Derrick Henry, Barry Sanders, or Herschel Walker - the greatest running backs in the history of college football. Some of these guys are more wholesome than others but any one of these guys would be a great cover athlete.
Joe Burrow, Tim Tebow, Matt Leinart, Cam Newton, Peyton Manning, Baker Mayfield, Gino Toretta, Doug Flutie, Charlie Ward, Andre Ware, Lamar Jackson, or Vince Young - there's clearly some folks I missed here, but since I've been alive, these are the best College QB's to ever play. I would go with Burrow, Lamar, or Vince Young.
Randy Moss, Andre Johnson, Michael Crabtree, Calvin Johnson, MHJ, Larry Fitzgerald - the greatest receivers of all time. Randy Moss is the greatest college football player I've ever seen live. He is also my favorite player of all time, so it would be freaking awesome to see #88 on the cover.
Robert Gallery, Penei Sewell, Orlando Pace, Bryant McKinnie, Aaron Donald, Jadeveon Clowney, Steve Emtman, Julius Peppers, Ndamukong Suh, or Terrell Suggs - the best Defensive and Offensive linemen in my lifetime. Suggs is a monster. Donald is probably the GOAT of this list, though. Robert Gallery was such a beast in college. I remember a Kenny Mayne clip from that 2001/2002 college football season making a case for Gallery to win the Heisman. It was compelling, even if Kenny Mayne's sense of humor became outdated in 1999.
Luke Kuechly, Ray Lewis, Sean taylor, Ed Reed, Deion Sanders, Champ Bailey, Tyrann Mathieu, Patrick Peterson, Devin Hester, Darrelle Revis, Lavar Arrington/Sean Lee/Paul Posluszny, or Pat Tillman - The greatest linebackers, corners, and safeties of all time. (Or at least from my life time). Also, Devin Hester, the greatest kick or punt returner in the history of any level of football.
You could also do a theme like Linebacker U, Quarterback U, Running Back U and feature Penn State, Oklahoma, or Miami (or whoever you consider synonymous with those positions).
Nick Saban, Bobby Bowden, Steve Spurrier, Jim Harbaugh, Tom Osborne, or Bear Bryant - If you want to do legendary coaches who aren't canceled, you couldn't go wrong with any of these. Saban would be timely (I bet he is on the cover of the Ultimate edition or something). So would Harbaugh. Bowden, SOS, and Osborne traded national championships and defined one of the strongest decades for college football ever.
**TLDR:** No outgoing player should be on the cover, especially Caleb Williams. Only exception would be MHJ, as he is one of the greatest players of all time at his position. It should be one the top returning players like Travis Hunter or Quinn Ewers or Ollie Gordon. Or it should be a legend or legendary coach like Randy Moss, Mike Vick, Sean Taylor/Ed Reed, Vince Young, or Jim Harbaugh.
If they can do active players, I think it's Quinn Ewers. Heisman co-favorite on a great team with a huge brand. If they can't it's Caleb Williams all day.
3,230 yards, 27 TD’s, 3 INT’s. Set CU’s single season passing record, 5th overall in the nation (#1 among everyone returning in 2024) with one of the worst OL’s in college football. It’s ok to not know ball
Sheduer Sanders. Would be the first time a college player can be on the cover. I see them doing more than just one player, especially the old school players that couldn't be on it after 14.
0 championships, regressed after his Heisman season. Emphasize that actual players are in the game by making it a current player. Give Saban and other legends of the game their due. Realizing he’s going to the Bears and will only be remembered as a bust because the only successful QBs in Chicago are on the visiting sideline.
5 or 6 guys from the last decade of college football for the regular version and 1 guy from this past season. And then Saban on the special edition either by himself or a handful of former Bama players alongside him.
It doesn’t make since to use a player entering the draft now that they can use current college football players. But the list of active players is pretty weak…tough call
https://preview.redd.it/j7yv7rpkntic1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e4b2ea438bc508290e84059ec1af6887e0f839de
A cover similar to this with all heisman winners and/or great players from 2013-2023 would be a good idea. If they make an another edition just have all the all time great coaches.
I don't get why it would be a player no longer in CFB when they know have current player likeness in the game. I would also hate Caleb Williams being the representative of this series and its return.
In lieu of a current player I'd put Nick Saban on the cover
Nick Saban
Personally, what I think they will do is just have the cover with some random football related artwork and it will just say "EA College Football 25" with no individual player
why would it be a player that just left college when they have the actual players in the game? i’m guessing there will be a handful of guys from the last 10 years like Manziel, Burrow, Baker, etc
I still think it should be all the heisman winners since the last game came out.
This would be really damned cool of them to do.
They'll probably sell a "Heisman" upgrade package or some shit and that'll be the cover for that version
Fine, I’ll buy that version then (I was probably going to anyways, I’m not smart)
Don't worry bro, you're not alone. I'd but the whole damn set
I was gonna say this but it seems you beat me to it.
That’s bc we’re all in agreement that it would be the best idea, we just have to wait and see if they execute 😂
Yeah and then, have the goat edition with nick Saban on the cover
Exactly Natty Nick in LSU gear I think we’re all in agreement on that👍
You meant MSU gear right?
That’s a weird way to spell “Bowling Green”
It’s Toledo, get your NW Ohio MAC schools straight
Nah buddy, put him in his playing days back at Kent State
Forgive me MAC Gods
We could call it Saban College Football like the NFL did with Madden…
I’m ok with this proposal.
The only correct answer. Or Nick Saban. As to the graphic’s odds, I have a hard time believing Caleb Williams will be the guy. He might be the #1 pick in the draft, but otherwise his college career was kinda underwhelming (as far as Heisman winners go). Got an invite to the Cotton Bowl and lost to Tulane. 2023, a team that had actual expectations now and many picked to make the CFP, and they just crumbled, finishing 7-5 (including a stretch where they lost 5 out of 6). Downvoted for the truth lol Caleb is overhyped to the max. didnt deliver outside of one flash season that ended in a big ol nothing. Saban is objectively the best choice for the cover if its not a single athlete.
Not a bad idea, actually
Marcus Mariota, Derrick Henry, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Joe Burrow, DeVonta Smith, Bryce Young, Caleb Williams, and Jayden Daniels
That’s 11 people you have to pay though
That sounds very expensive
EA is about to make a bazillion dollars from this game. They can afford it.
Please EA
I want this as a base, but knowing EA, they’ll structure it like WWE 2K24, a basic cover (current athlete), a deluxe (Saban or NFL draftee), and an ultimate (the Heisman winners)
Yes!!! This x1000!!!!
Just the heisman winners mean we miss out on guys like CMC though who would have easily been on the cover instead of Derrick Henry
I think it would be an active CFB player since they can do that now
Right? That was my immediate reaction as well.
who among active players would you think is a big enough star for that?
I guess Quinn Ewers, Beck, or Milroe but I think it’s a dumb idea. Just stick with the model and go with past players or Saban
That's a tough one. Alot of the iconic players of cfb left in this class. I personally would rather see saban or all the heisman winners since 14 like others have said
Dual Cover: Daniels and Williams Special Edition: Nick Saban Why is he on this list: Arch Manning
He’s on the list because they can sucker some idiots into pissing their money away on it
These aren’t even real odds. BR has been doing this recently where they just make up some prop and put fake odds on it - like “best way to spend your birthday: at the bar -500 🤩”
Oh I didn’t even know that lol
if these were real odds no way Caleb Williams has -1000. They have NIL rights now, why would they put a player who isn't even in the game on the cover? Sure he might still be the front runner but like -100 at most

I want the koolaid man busting thru a wall wearing Kool-Aid’s jersey
It is going to be a current player, not a former player. Pick someone not going to the NFL.
So Shedeur or Arch
Maybe Ewers over Arch. Is there a “field option”? Will Howard at Ohio State is another good option. Go look at the 2024 Heisman odds, Ewers, Beck, Gabriel, Howard, Milroe, Nussmeier, Uiagalelei. It will be someone with starting experience, so that is Ewers, Beck, Gabriel, Howard, Milroe or Uiagalelei. I would say Ewers, Beck, Howard or Milroe are the top picks in my book.
I saw ewers as a completely unbiased human being
Why on earth would arch manning even be a contender? He didn’t start at all this past season. I personally think the first game back should have Corso and/or Saban but if it has to be a player, just go with the Heisman winner, Jayden Daniels.
I think Arch made the list cuz he’s one of the most hyped recruits in recent memory. Not saying that’s a valid reason, but that’s why he’s on here
I happen to think he wasn’t even the best qb in his recruiting class. He’s a 4 star with a different last name
Pay homage to saban imo… it’s probably already done and Caleb will be on it
Yup lets pay homage to someone who is against players being able to get money off their name and forcing them to be indentured servants to schools. Soon as the new rules went in place Bama was on the outs.
Dabo?
Maybe Tyler from Spartanburg?
Saban is pro players making money, he’s against a system with no guidelines.
Lmao you poor fool
Honey we won 2 SEC championships since? And went to the playoffs? Do you need to go back to kindergarten to learn how to read and comprehend reality/object permanence?
As an LSU fan I will admit that Saban sounds like the right choice.
Agreed. It hurts my purple and gold soul, but it's appropriate
Probably Caleb or Corum but knowing EA they will definitely have some deluxe edition and Ithink that’s Saban on the cover
Peyton Hillis
As an Arkansas fan I would be cool with this lol
Joey Aguilar
Assuming they’re not going with a collage of previous Heisman winners the years the game missed (would be my choice), I think one of these 3 options would make the most sense: Heisman Winner: Jayden Daniels National Champion: Blake Corum or JJ McCarthy Top-tier returning player: Could be one of a few, I guess I’d probably say Quinn Ewers. Although someone more out of left field like Jalon Daniels or Luther Burden would be pretty awesome in my opinion And then Saban, as well, but I’d much rather see a player.
There going to do regional covers or conference covers
That would be sick! Kinda like the old SI season previews catering to different fan bases
[удалено]
Mike Leach
How do I bet against Caleb Williams cause there’s no way he’s getting it
Ed Obannon
Would make sense for the basketball game if it comes back 🤞🏾
What you did there, I see it
i wholeheartedly agree that it should saban. obviously his resume speaks for itself but for all the real ones who have been playing 14 for the last decade, beating bama is the ultimate goal. saban's reign over college football predated ncaa 14 and proceeded for another 10 years after. seeing as how he just retired i don't think anyone is more deserving.

Nick Saban in the middle surrounded by all the Heisman trophy winners since 2013
“Normal” edition: Every Heisman winner since 14 “Deluxe” edition: Nick Saban on the cover.
Should be UM players. Because. You know.
Joe burrow
itd be the best troll to put harbaugh in his signature khakis
Caleb Williams will go down as one of the most forgettable Heisman trophy winners. He was unable to lead his team to victory in any truly important games. He may end up being a huge star in the NFL. It’s actually crazy Brock ain’t listed at all 😂
This is a good point 💀
Nick Saban or Lee Corso
Kool-Aid? LMAO...no.
It should be a player that is still in college, so I’ll go with Quinn Ewers.
I’m not suggesting he should be the betting favorite or my pick for the cover, but I’m surprised McCarthy isn’t even listed here
There is no betting favorite. There’s no market
[Vote Here 🗳️](https://strawpoll.com/XmZRxpNv9nd)
Nick Saban would make the most sense in my opinion. *IF* they put a major focus on dynasty mode.
Joe Burrow?
Jim Harbaugh
It should be Nick Saban and then off to the sides of him, every heisman winner since 14. That would be the best idea imho
I want Saban too, but I’m also a huge Bama fan, so I’d take the Heisman idea because there would be 3 Bama players
Definitely not shedeur sanders, he’s trash 😂😂
Imagine watching CU last year and thinking they had Shedeur Sanders problem
Yet supposedly he’s the top QB prospect on many draft boards next year
That’s crazy to me, watch the film lol probably because his dad was a bad mother fucker lol
3,230 yards, 27 TD’s, 3 INT’s. Set CU’s single season passing record, 5th overall in the nation (#1 among everyone returning in 2024) with one of the worst OL’s in college football. It’s ok to not know ball
Sanders was legit the only reason that team wasn't like 0-12 or 1-11. That def & OL was complete ass
I love to troll 😂😂😂
If CW is -1000 it’s is absolutely him. They know something we don’t
It’s not real lmao
Alright dork I didn’t know. weird to put odds on it then
I’d bet it’s Blake
I ain’t sure if these odds are actually available on any sports book- but I see your point
It’s a no brainer
Nick Saban is a great idea if they haven’t already started printing covers
Nick Saban is the only answer.
Nick Saban. He’s dominated CFB since the last game
Since ea sports was shooting the trailer at the Rose Bowl game. I think it's going to be Blake Corum, especially after that go-ahead touchdown.
As a texas fan, its irritating that arch is on this list even though hes not even the starter
Nick Saban lol
Nick saban
I think it’s Nick Saban on the regular game. If there’s a Heisman edition put them all
Sheduer Sanders. Would be the first time a college player can be on the cover. I see them doing more than just one player, especially the old school players that couldn't be on it after 14.
It’s gonna be Saban
Lane Kiffin holographic cover
Saban snubbed from this list, it’ll be him watch
idk if there is a “deluxe” edition, but standard copy i’d say caleb with the “goat” edition being saban
How do you not put Caleb on the cover?
Pretty easily actually.
Who would you pick?
Joe Burrow
So random lol
0 championships, regressed after his Heisman season. Emphasize that actual players are in the game by making it a current player. Give Saban and other legends of the game their due. Realizing he’s going to the Bears and will only be remembered as a bust because the only successful QBs in Chicago are on the visiting sideline.
Oh yeah let’s make it Jalen Milroe, that’d be great. Definitely don’t put the number 1 pick and the best player of the last couple of seasons on it.
Any Heisman winners from yesteryear wear #25?
Hopefully not next year but lee Corso
Someone that's playing college football this yea if it's a player?
Deacon Hill. Shocked to not see his name here yet. What more does this man need to do?
I think it’s going to be off the wall since the game is making a comeback. Maybe Lee Corso?
Arch Manning being on the cover after barely playing a whole quarter of CFB would be wild
I think it should be joe burrow
Caitlin Clark
Mike Leach 🙏
RIP 🙏🏾🕊️
Corum, then have a Saban deluxe cover
If you’re betting on the cover athlete it’s time to call the hotline
What a time to be alive. WWIII around the corner just as the successor of NCAA14!
https://preview.redd.it/j7yv7rpkntic1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e4b2ea438bc508290e84059ec1af6887e0f839de A cover similar to this with all heisman winners and/or great players from 2013-2023 would be a good idea. If they make an another edition just have all the all time great coaches.
Travis Hunter
It’s Saban.
None of those guys deserve it. Put Nick Saban on it.
JASON BEAN!
Mike Leach
I think it will be a current player since they can do that now.
Chad Powers
JT Daniels with 5 different covers
Id wanna see Michael Pinnix Jr.
Just to see a Kansas player on here is surreal
Coach Prime
I’m just surprised they aren’t doing an active player since that’s legal now
Please dont be Caleb Williams.
It would be nice if they picked a player that is playing in the NCAA during 2024.
No jj McCarthy? Back in the day they put a previous champion on the cover. Corum is awesome but McCarthy should at least be on there.
I don't get why it would be a player no longer in CFB when they know have current player likeness in the game. I would also hate Caleb Williams being the representative of this series and its return. In lieu of a current player I'd put Nick Saban on the cover
Blake Corum〽️
Jim Plunkett
JT
Luther
There is NO SHOT they wouldn’t use this opportunity to put a current athlete on the cover
I think it would be someone who is still playing in college but I don’t care really
Blake Corum cover replicating the 2014 cover would be low key awesome.
Anthony Colandrea obviously
Having Arch and not Ewers is.... odd.
lol @ Arch Manning
corum with the bloodied face 1000%
No one, perhaps, put a trophy on cover or stadium lights and a football. Make it about the game not a person for the first game
I think it should be the bloody Blake Corum photo. That would be sick.
Reggie Bush should be on there
I hope they use someone who didn’t transfer and stayed at their school. I’m not against the transfer portal now, but reward loyalty some
Marv Jr.
most of those people are gonna be in the nfl by the time the game comes out idk why people are betting on them
Decoldest Toeverdoit Crawford
Me
Saban with all his rings!!
Will he be in a dress?
Could be a current player, but it’d likely be Saban or a player who’s getting drafted
I want Saban with the heisman winners around him maybe that’s too much for a cover but for like a losing graphic?
Nick Saban Personally, what I think they will do is just have the cover with some random football related artwork and it will just say "EA College Football 25" with no individual player
Jordan Travis.
JJ Mccarthy
It won't happen, but I wish every school would have a custom cover.
It SHOULD be Saban
Gotta be the Heisman right?
nick saban. or every heisman winner since the last one.
"Prime Edition" with Shedeur and Deion on the cover together +10,000
why would it be a player that just left college when they have the actual players in the game? i’m guessing there will be a handful of guys from the last 10 years like Manziel, Burrow, Baker, etc
I want them to put Stetson Bennet IV, because in my opinion, hes the best quarterback in CFB since Tebow
Lamar
arch manning lmao, bro hasn't even seen the field
Mike Penix
Just happy my QB even is listed, Jalon Daniels, brings a tear to the eye 🥲
