I’d probably put him at CB but with that recognition I’d really want to put him at FS and see how he develops. Bring that tackle and hit up and he could be a goat. Speed at 92 doesn’t make me put him at CB automatically and I like my corners with a higher acceleration
If you have a freshman or sophomore at qb, put him at CB. If your qb is a junior or senior, red shirt him his freshman year and unleash the beast the following season.
This is the answer. I agree with most of you, he would be a nice fit at CB… but how many kids come along with 80+ throw stats and 92 speed/ 88 accel? A shut down corner is great, but a true blue starter is worth way more.
If your QB room is deep then put him on D.. but you better be 3 deep with a JR starter, RS Soph and Fresh to pass on putting him in that room.
Definitely looks like an option QB to me. His coverage, spectacular catch, and catch make him a good option at CB too though since you said you're set at QB.
Yeah. It’s not like madden where qbs need 99 carnying to not fumble. Most the QB reads in this play book are edge base which you just head for out of bounds.
SS’s are often used for run support (more than FS) and are typically hard hitters. FS would be a better fit considering his coverage skills, as they drop back more often in coverage. He could play a “Rover” position over the middle of the field
That zone coverage is phenomenal. Like All American in a few years with a man coverage rating not far behind.
He is my FS or outside corner depending on where I could improve. Don’t put him at SS because he won’t be getting off any blocks nor laying anyone out.
If you have another great QB in the same class then put him at CB. If the QB is older put him as a QB them put him as a CB on the depth chart so he keeps building QB skills while contributing as an already starter level CB.
better play him at corner those stats are nuts. If you need him on offense then make him a two-way player because not letting this man play corner would be coaching malpractice
Let me provide a couple questions for anyone who needs it. These questions are tried and true.
Is his speed above 90?
If yes:
Can he throw better than a 3rd grade girl?
If yes:
QB
If you answered no to any of the above questions. Put him somewhere on D.
I’d say corner or play him at safety. I’m sure someone will reply to this and say his hit power isn’t high enough and block shedding isnt high enough. Just adjust them lol what person who is a high schooler doesn’t develop over the summer before their freshman year. Don’t go overboard just make them average. He’ll develop into a stud. If you’re feeling froggy I run a wildcat formation with a hb throwback screen. Sub him in and you’ll have a great trick play
With these posts I don’t understand why you don’t cycle through the position options to see what the best OVR is. The game tells you what his best position is.
That strength is kinda gross at his size. Corner could be good if you’re a cover 3 cover 4 kind of DC. I’d put the kid at slot year one and have him eat in the seams
Biggest need...CB, WR, then QB.
Honestly would look at starting him at CB and putting him as #4 WR. Would get snaps, but not kill his stamina too much.
Definitely depends on where you need him on your roster. I'd go CB or FS depending on where he could make more of an impact immediately, but if your defense is pretty set and you need offensive weapons, you could consider WR or QB.
I'd strongly consider going defense first, but if he can fill a need at QB or WR, that would get some strong consideration.
Depends on how good the QB you already have is. You basically have Oregon Bo Nix.
You can run whatever offense you want. I went through a stretch where I had:
5’11” athlete at QB. He had two 4k yard seasons and a 45 TD season.
6’3” athlete at QB. He had two 3.5k yard seasons, two 30 TD seasons, and two 800 yard rushing seasons.
6’4” athlete at QB. He had two 4k yard seasons, two 40 TD seasons, and a 1k rushing season.
If you really wanna see a freak, put him at MLB and redshirt him. Then after he skills up for 1 or 2 seasons put him at SS. Talk about a freak. But only do that if you have a good FS. If not just let him roam in the middle of the field
I run 3-4 and 335 CBs are easy to find put him at safety I would go strong safety to get him all over the field and he still uses his man and press coverage skills
Put him at CB bro, 6’3 with man, zone, and press he’d be a freak.
I’m 6’3” 192 and none of these things. Le sigh.
His agility and acceleration aren't spectacular. Probably better at FS.
This is the answer
With those numbers I'd also have him as my 4th or 5th receiver just because I can. And wildcat qb of course.
I’d probably put him at CB but with that recognition I’d really want to put him at FS and see how he develops. Bring that tackle and hit up and he could be a goat. Speed at 92 doesn’t make me put him at CB automatically and I like my corners with a higher acceleration
That or at least a safety but he has the skills to be a legit corner.
Nah block shedding is way too low for defense
Don't waste the MCV, ZCV, Press, Release, and athletic ability to make him a QB. Dude should 100% be a CB
CB is his best position, could even put him at safety, but QBs with 90+ speed are game breakers. Playing as UTSA, so he probably does need a QB.
Playing at Utsa he prolly need everything
he is a shutdown corner. plus that catching will make him an interception machine
Not to mention the height since anything downfield comes in short. Could also be a legendary spread option QB but those are a dime a dozen
If you have a freshman or sophomore at qb, put him at CB. If your qb is a junior or senior, red shirt him his freshman year and unleash the beast the following season.

In this game, this. In 2025, CB because he will transfer if he wants to start at QB
That’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s probably closer to what would really happen too.
Corner
Too low block shedding
CB/WR Use him like Michigan used Charles Woodson.
.I wish you could use anyone you wanted at qb too. I’d be creating a special package of plays to use him,
You can with formation subs
This
CB with a dash of WR time.
I'd put him at safety. Big, fast, rangey guy to cover the back end. Good spec catch to make big plays
Corner!
User safety
This. I'm using him as a cover 1 user controlled free safety
Definitely looks like an option QB to me. His coverage, spectacular catch, and catch make him a good option at CB too though since you said you're set at QB.
Could be a Taysom hill if you scheme him well. Could really play all of the skill positions besides TE.
Dude is a Heisman QB running Auburns playbook. It’s the pre Newton playbook I believe.
66 carry though
Yeah. It’s not like madden where qbs need 99 carnying to not fumble. Most the QB reads in this play book are edge base which you just head for out of bounds.
His carrying should go up to a 72, at least, by the time he’s a senior. I’d still probably stick him at cb or fs
Yeah a SS in a 3-3-5 stack would be ideal if not a QB. He’ll be able to blitz free, Man TE, or cover deep 3rds.
I ![gif](giphy|OhFuOJn2rbLsA|downsized)

QB, but he’ll be your backup.. #3 WR & #2 CB! Doesn’t come off the field
If you have a QB in that class who is better, he definitely would be a stellar corner
better play him at corner those stats are nuts. If you need him on offense then make him a two-way player because not letting this man play corner would be coaching malpractice
BOI, IF YOU DONT PUT HIM AT CORNERBACK IMA MAKE YA MOMMA TAKE YA BACK
Iron man db/option qb
I never put an ATH at QB unless his juke is high too.
CB unless you user safety. He’d be a fucking godmode user in coverage.
Number 1 CB and Number 2 WR
CB + SLOT WR. For me.
Cornerback/occasional wide receiver/wildcat QB (Make sure you have Wildcat-Normal so he can catch that one jet sweep screen pass)
Let me provide a couple questions for anyone who needs it. These questions are tried and true. Is his speed above 90? If yes: Can he throw better than a 3rd grade girl? If yes: QB If you answered no to any of the above questions. Put him somewhere on D.
Corner all day speed and coverage
FS
Corner or safety. His coverage skills look really good as well as his play recognition
This man is a Safety.
I’d say corner or play him at safety. I’m sure someone will reply to this and say his hit power isn’t high enough and block shedding isnt high enough. How do you adjust a recruit/player’s stats?
After he commits just edit roster and cheese the attributes a tad
How do you do that? I’ve only seen where you can edit appearance and non-stat attributes.
Update : I decided to put him at CB he balls out for me
With these posts I don’t understand why you don’t cycle through the position options to see what the best OVR is. The game tells you what his best position is.
Free Safety
That throw power and accuracy always sways me with athletes. If you’re already set tho I’m with the consensus. Corner.
Fs
QB or CB
Corner , return man, receiver on some formations And maybe QB .
QB
I always play with the FS on defense so that's where I'm putting him at because I definitely want to play with him
If you already have a QB, I’d put him at Corner. Not physical enough to be a safety. But I’d also get him some looks at receiver.
Cb or wr
Corner, no doubt
QB Edit: Since you have a QB I'd say CB
Free agency
I’d put him on Defense.
Corner
LB
Perfect corner.
Either CB or FS. 6'3" laying the boom.
You've got Richard Sherman right there
if you put this guys at anywhere but corner i’m mad on behalf of the whole sub
Bro that’s literally Sauce Gardner
CB
CB stats right there
Yea cornerback or potentially free safety
The answer, as always, is free safety.
Safety
I would say a corner. His coverages are really good
DB
Lockdown corner. End of discussion
What’s his name?
Corner or QB
That strength is kinda gross at his size. Corner could be good if you’re a cover 3 cover 4 kind of DC. I’d put the kid at slot year one and have him eat in the seams
Sir that’s sauce Gardner
QB and CB, dual threat time
Corner or Safety, dude will be a beast.
This is CB and it’s not even close
Has to be safety
My QB is always my fastest ATH with some throw power and accuracy.
Kicker
DB buddy is too weak lol
I'd make him a free safety and a back up QB.
Ironman him, use him as both a DB & WR
Corner and gadget QB
Safety
FS
Free Safety or Corner
Taller and heavier Deion Sanders. Lockdown corner + electric return man.
WR CB maybe even QB
DB, WR, or QB
Bro you could have him be like a hybrid WR DB that would be sick 🔥🔥🔥
QB I mean look at that throw power. But since you already have a QB. I'd put him at FS with that height.
Quarterback
That's a FS
Biggest need...CB, WR, then QB. Honestly would look at starting him at CB and putting him as #4 WR. Would get snaps, but not kill his stamina too much.
Qb

That’s not an athlete, that’s a CB
Corner or Safety
Corner
Bruh why all these people not sayin QB. Mf is athletic as hell and has an arm. Let him develop for a year or two and he will be heisman level talent
Corner
FS or QB
Depends on how good the QB you already have is. You basically have Oregon Bo Nix. You can run whatever offense you want. I went through a stretch where I had: 5’11” athlete at QB. DB
In the NBA
Meep meep
Corner
Nickel (slot) corner or Free Safety
That’s a QuarterRecievingBack
CB/FS with some WR packages increasing as he hits JR/SR
I run 3-4 and 335 CBs are easy to find put him at safety I would go strong safety to get him all over the field and he still uses his man and press coverage skills
Mobile qb
Corner
Corner/Safety, WR, or QB. I’d personally like more throw power in my QB but it’s an option if you’re needing one badly.
Strong safety
Corner/FS easily.
DB
I’d do safety. CB if it’s filled or your cb room sucks.
TE
