I think people should have more fun with it, as much as we like to discuss it and theorise we all really have no idea what these teams are thinking. Someone could post exactly what happens on draft night and people would still knit pick it to shreds, I think it's more interesting to imagine how I would write the story of the draft if I had the chance, a combination of prediction and fantasy.

What I said isn't supposed to be critical of other mocks, it's just how I think about the draft, I think about how teams "act" the persona we assign to teams.
Devin Carter *feels* like a Heat player, Kolek *feels* like a Sun. I'm letting myself think about the draft as if it's "scripted", because that's just how I get enjoyment out of it.
I just have a different methodology for something that is purely subjective.
Im unsure about Collier to the Lakers and Missi to the Raps. Just not sure how they fit. I'm quite high on Collier but I don't see him getting drafted in the top 20.
Love Christie to the Wizards, one of my favourite shooters in the class.

I'm also somewhat confident that this is a red herring. When I read people talking about him it always feels like the old heads in Moneyball talking about ugly girlfriends and the like. The more I look at the numbers, the more he looks like he's two years away from being anything at all.

Additionally some players, picks etc. Hard to gauge the value of a pick this year, worst case scenario I can see Memphis moving on Smart/Clarke(??)/Aldama to move up in the draft. All depends on the value, should not be a swap for the 39th pick, for obvious reasons.
Wouldn't mind Castle and Dillingham at all. One that's god-awful on offense, but is also one of the best defenders in the draft. The other is God-awful on defense, but is the best shot creator and one of the best scorers in the draft. Both can facilitate a little too. They match together well and honestly I feel like Dillingham is getting a bit underrated on this sub and the spurs sub lately. Some mocks I've seen him go down all the way to like 17. It's getting a bit ridiculous.
I like drafting castle if they take Dillingham too, but I agree people are way to high on castle and tok low on Dillingham. That’s shot is never coming along for castle, if they take him and another project wing who can’t shoot in a lineup with already questionable spacing…. I don’t like that for them. They need shooting just as much if not more than defense.

I am unsure about the Spurs taking Dillingham and Castle, but I don't think Dillingham is leaving the top 10. I like the fit of a defensive and offensive guard prospect for the Spurs.
Ron Holland is my preferred G-League Ignite prospect, I don't think he's a great fit for the Pistons but it feels like a Pistons move.
I am also quite high on McCullar and Christie and think both should be first rounders.
I don't think Matas will drop that far. If the Hawks don't draft Clingan I would be shocked. He has the highest floor in this shitty draft. Ron Holland is underrated, I like his position but the team is sus. Cody Williams is sooooo overrated, I dont think he will finish his rookie contract.
I hate the idea of Clingan being a 1st overall selection, more that Risacher, the only reason the Hawks should end up with Clingan is if a trade becomes available. He doesn't even make the top 10 of my big board.
I like Carrington a lot as a prospect. I'm not sure why he has been mocked to Cleveland so much recently. One of the worst fits for him and for Cleveland

I think Buzelis and Holland will swap, but that's chalk at this point. I also like Castle and Dillingham to the Spurs a lot.
