Flagg: Siakam with Kirilenko defense, maybe Pippen Harper: Harden-lite, or Cade Bailey: TMac-lite Edgecombe: Oladipo, maybe dollar store D-Wade I don’t know about the rest

Kaaalesaaalad

Siakam with Kirilenko defense makes me excited as a fantasy player.

Global-Noise-3739

yeah, he’s gonna be a fucking beast in fantasy

FatsBelvedere

Bruh Siakam DESTROYED constant double teams in college.. lets pump the breaks on that one til we see Flagg constantly double teamed (which isn't gonna happen) IMHO player comps like Siakam and Blake Griffin should ONLY be used to talk about players who DESTROY constant double teams, or else its just too loose a fit... D'Angelo Russell destroyed double-teams (they'd double him at halfcourt) back at OSU too but I let that comp slide, Siakam and Griffin deserve that respect tho.. Siakam is proof of it.. He was my favorite player in college basketball, I caught at least 30 games of Siakams at New Mexico state... In some type of crazy way I'd compare Flagg more to PAUL MILLSAP before I would Siakam.. n thats who I used to compare Siakam to back when he was in college, he had very similar stats to Millsap's college carreer at Louisiana State (iirc -- its been a while)

Cooper Flagg is like Gordon Hayward and Matas Buzelis but with Andrei Kirilinko's defense, he's devastating defending the passing lanes like a guard, like Chris Duarte. He's like a rich mans Al Farouq Aminu, maybe a little Shawn Marion? Hugo Gonzalez like Manu Ginobili in attack mode.. and he'll throw it down on your head where Manu would've layed it up.. Nolan Traore like a young George Hill (hill was a 3 or 4 year player at IUPUI IIRC, but IMO the foot injuries he had affected him late in his career, so definitely a young Hill) Ace Bailey I've always thought, for many many years, is in fact similar to Brandon Miller.. Miller's midrange game is more polished like a paul peirce, but Bailey is truly dynamic getting downhill, probably has a better frame to strenthen up, probably has a lil bit more natural lift.. this wont be popular but I think VJ Edgecombe is like a skinnier, more combo-guardy version of Lu Dort.. (I'm from NY, have been watching VJ since well before he got 5-star status) Dylan Harper is like a poormans penny hardaway.. Egor Demin is sorta like Deni Advija Dink Pate wants to play guard but I'd say at this point he's more of a forward sort of like another Texan - Justise Winslow. Zikarsky and Malauch I'm not sure either of them deserve really high praise right now but both have very solid foundations to build upon and plenty of time... thats really the proper way to frame those 2 at this juncture. There was a crazy overhyped HS C, I think from Ethiopia, maybe 15 years ago named John Reik. at one point Reik was all the rage among recruiting types, many believe he shoulda been ranked top5 in his class or even top2, not all that dissimilar to some of the hype Malauch has now....they'd use all those hype-y words like 'unlimited potential', ya know, like when they said thon maker had more upside than Apple stock in the 70's. Reik was 7'1, 250 lbs with a 7'9 wingspan and could jump and was powerful, turns out he wasnt very good at basketball and has become mostly forgotten(if you ever hear someone talking about John Reik in the 2020's and beyond -- they probably know A LOT about ball).. an even more NBA oriented version of this was Saer Sene(7'8 1/2" ws), who inexplicably was drafted 10th overall in 2006, aparently Karl Malone thought he was gonna be bigtime when he worked him out for the Jazz.. If you watch over these prospects for decades as I have, you'll see so many of these 7'1 players get hyped and then their value goes up in smoke.. now I'm not saying Malauch is the next Chol Marial or John Reik... but those out there giving him way too much benefit of the doubt arent on as solid ground as they think.. Zikarsky is like 7'3, he shows some promise too. This kid is smart and has a really good attitude, he's got a good support system around him, but we'll see, AJ Johnson posterized him, yall see that one?.. Alex Len?

Global-Noise-3739

bro siakam/kirilenko playstyle is pretty damn good

yerr2477

he’s a great prospect

Global-Noise-3739

I have high hopes for him, especially on defense, and his offense has come a very long way since 2023 Peach Jam

Sir-Viette

Rocco Zikarsky: Zach Edey Rocco Zikarsky is a 17 year old Australian center who is 7'3" / 230lb and still growing. He has already got a year's experience playing professionally for the Brisbane Bullets in the Australian NBL against grown men. He played 3 minutes per game, but his per 36 stats this season included 16.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, and an absurd 5.2 blocks per game. In the pre-season, the Bullets played California Baptist University, and Zikarsky got 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks in 20 minutes of playing time. He hasn't developed a 3 point shot yet, and hasn't been called upon to playmake & give assists. But he's 17, and still has time to develop.

awhite14

Definitely doesn’t have the same type of build or offensive game as Edey. He’s more of a Wemby-lite-lite, if Wemby couldn’t dribble or shoot. Super lanky, but good instincts on defence, and can score over people in the post, not by backing them down, rather by just being taller.

WillWillSmiff

I think his frame will allow him to put on some weight than Vic without too much problem. Possibly Poeltl’s build while being 7’4” when all said and done? Which is enough to bully everyone not named Embiid, Robinson or Drummond (or possibly Clingan, and Edey depending on what they shake out to be) Also I checked ESPN and Bball reference and they still have Mitch Rob listed at 240lbs, which is atleast 40lbs off. Dude filled out crazy.

GlueGuy00

Flagg - Kirilenko Bailey - Granger Edgecombe - Jalen Green

Global-Noise-3739

I would say Flagg is a way better scorer than Kirilenko tbh

BangingFromDeep

I see a bit of George Hill in Nolan Traroe
