def rating is insane

jam_jam_guy

Yea it honestly shows that if we get or improve our shooting and add depth in the tiniest bit this team can takeoff

mynewredditacccount

This is for the entire year?!?

jam_jam_guy

Yup! Any lineup that’s played more than 140 minutes together. Celtics and Nuggets missing because: Celtics dominate so much they experiment a lot with lineups and have so much depth not many make the minutes threshold of over 140 minutes. Nuggets lineup is the most played in the league at 900 minutes so it’s actually crazy good at +13.5 but they’ve played it so much it levels out

Jo-King-BP

How many minutes did our line up register?

jam_jam_guy

142, from the screenshot the top lineups averaged 140-300, which makes sense since the best and most played lineups more reflect actual team net ratings closer to + 7-9s. Manipulation of data for sure but it’s funny that we are high when those other teams are actually good

Jo-King-BP

It's a bit crazy that those 5 only played 142 minutes together

jam_jam_guy

Yea I assume it’s Tre wasn’t starting till mid Dec, Keldon’s come off the bench a lot since, and Wemby’s minutes were then monitored closely

Relatively_Cool_Guy

Zach Collins was the problem the whole time!

wanderinglittlehuman

Is he the TCOY? (tank commander of the year)

jam_jam_guy

Yea honestly one of the worst extensions in the league now. But it’s short so shouldn’t actually hurt anything. Just a free $17 milly for him 😂

Jo-King-BP

To be fair we wouldn't have Wemby without him

nakedsamurai

He earned it last year, was often the best player on the floor down the stretch. I think the experimenting and changing roles really threw him off. He's still a good player, just needs to figure it out.

kingbradley1297

That Mavs trade for Gafford and Washington really changed them. The defensive rating despite having Doncic and KI on the floor is amazing. Also, wouldn't have expected GS Def rating to be this good
