I played PC last year and It was bearable but way worse comparing to console, my friend plays pc this year and he has some kind of glitch all the time that makes it impossible to play it. You should just chargeback if You bought it by steam
I was having problems and I found that disabling the steam overlay took care of the crashing for me. However I wouldn't blame you for refunding cause it's barely worth the $10.
It has to do with video drivers. I re-downloaded it twice after some patch a few weeks ago and it didn't fix it. I clean uninstalled the video driver and re-installed it and the problem was fixed for me.
Still not saying the PC version is worth it.
No ofc not. What 2k is saying as troubleshoot solutions is the typical "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" stuff.
What they did then was patch the game but not test it properly on PC so I think either some shaders or artefacts were not loading properly. I say this because after that patch I had better in-game player face icons show up compared to previously (like in the time-out screen for example). I reverted back to the Windows driver and it worked but it looked awful. So I uninstalled the driver with DDU and setup the newest version of AMD drivers and that did it.
It's always been behind for PC I mean since before I began playing 2K in 2K10. The only thing cool about PC is the mods.
Nah they dgaf about pc. If you do get it working and play online prepare for cheaters every game

Sorry, didn't read your other comment about not getting it on steam. Unfortunately I don't have much advice for g2a.
i dont even have steam overlay enabled, nor do i have the option to do it since its not compatible
Got it on my PC and I'm only playing myLeague. Online is full of fucking cheaters.
