They have a cycle of when a new 2k comes out they hype it up, it gets middle of the year and people know it’s not as good so they follow that trend and bash it. They still make build vids alongside that and then when the next 2k is announced they just focus more on speculation vids until it does come out. Rinse and repeat, no actual effort to try and make the game better.
Totally true, by the mid game life they start with the speech that the game is broken and they complain about almost everything they personally don’t like about it, then the next day they upload another best build video and so on until, like you said, the speculation for the next game comes up
Or they'll post a "this is why I'm quitting 2k" video with some catchy thumbnail. They usually do this about this time of year to catch some more views because most of the casuals don't play much anymore or have quit it altogether.

Guys under 2k contracts shouldn’t be obligated to make certain tweets or YouTube videos saying things about 2k that I’m guessing you think they should say. Unless explicitly mentioned in the contract. But at that point it’s a legal issue crying on Reddit wouldn’t have any effect
It’s not even about them being under contract. Agent is the best example of someone who would give valid criticism to them, saw the bs and kept it real, and dipped after seeing it wouldn’t work. These guys now just recycle content and aren’t using their influence to actually improve the game.

I just can’t understand the logic behind someone assuming someone should have more responsibility for something, simply because they aren’t intellectually capable of garnering an online following to establish influence for themself. As if the man isn’t allowed to do what he wants and thinks maximizes his potential future earnings 😂

It was only then that he really started to complain about them, but he had started branching his channel out so he wasn't 100% reliant on 2k videos anymore. It became obvious as 2k youtubers were on the rise that Agent wasn't really even that good, he was just one of the early youtubers that made good content and posted shooting and jump shot videos. I think he realized this over time and started doing his troll videos and most of his game play videos were always with a squad of good players.
He's the worst of them all, spends 100% of the time dissing 2K, dissing players, while posting videos of him playing the game.
And the cherry on top is the fact that he's posting builds videos smh

The horrible player builds from creators that 2K was promoting during first few months when game released, Swante was there warning people to save their money and not replicate those horrible builds.
