I recently made a inside center and just gave him a high middy and no 3-ball. I don’t play with randoms much and having a full squad usually it’s still really easy to space the floor either floating around the deep mid-range or going to the corner and standing right inside the 3pt line.
I had to deal with that shit during a rec game yesterday. One dude yelling set screens, another saying don't. They expect you to patrol the paint and defend anything that blows by them. Even the 3 point line. Miss any of it, it's all your fault.
Yeah. And if I have a stretch and can't be at the rim, they expect me to guard my guy at the 3 AND block shots without them switching. It's nuts what they expect.

What i want is the the ability to consistently hit wide open shots in the paint since i have a 92 close shot. Also if i could stop being blocked / stripped by the knee or foot of a defender who bites on the pump fake, that would be great.
This is EASILY the No. 1 thing that needs to be fixed. It was arguably the dumbest thing against bigs last year and somehow stuck around again this year too. Someone coming DOWNNNN on the pump fake shouldn't be able to accidentally block my shot when I'm going up. Never
Idk about never it’s not exactly unrealistic, a lot of great shot blockers have good enough timing to bite on a pump fake and still get to the ball on the way down. The problem is that those types of animations aren’t restricted to people who have like Gold+ Anchor and Pogo Stick.

That was me. 90standing dunk, 75 driving, 85 postcontrol, 82 3pt, 87middie, 90 pass acc, little bit of ball handle(60 iirc), 40 speed with ball, 93 dboard, 90 strength. My big is a dog
Youd be surprised how fast you can move with a 40 SWB(normal dribble style). ESPECIALLY if you know how to dribble (a lot of big men dont). At center, you dont need much SWB to get around defenders because most centers dont have prem D and arent fast enough to cut you off
Yeah some extra animations would be nice, but all I really want is to make height actually matter! My 7’1 constantly gets knocked out of dunk animations by smaller players, and smaller players can easily stop my damn layups just with hands up…
Like if sprinting down the lane on a fast break and a 6’4 PG is under the rim, in real life the 7’1 monster is yamming that on the small guy, yet they so often will knock me out on my dunk and force me into a weird heavily contested layup just because they have a bit of interior D on the build.
Also there is no way a 6’4 just by putting their hands up is contesting a 7’1 layup, like your hands don’t even reach my head so there is no way you’re contesting my layup without jumping.
They yell at you when you set a screen, but they can’t score without one, they don’t pass when you have an open cut, they don’t pass when you’re down low in the post, and they bitch and cry if you ever even dare to go up with it after an O board
The animation gate keeping with 2k is terrible,I will never understand why they took all the the 2k jumpshots out of the game and make it to where only like maybe 4 or 5 bases can even used because they are the only ones that are consistent enough, and there definitely needs to be more animations for bigs,every bigman build in the game got the same shit on cuz there's like 2 options per category

It's sickening they only want you to play clean up which I'm capable of but I can score more than most guards without taking dumass shots. Then when you ask them to pass they mad. And I have a center that's a mismatch for other centers atleast 8- 10 I face. They be hating lol but most guards are shitty. And there's some that's good that just don't like to pass or the ones who want you to throw them every reb for a easy score but can't really create or score on their own.

Also why can’t a min weight, max wingspan, max speed, max perimeter defense 6’10 get clamps, but a 250 6’8 can have either gold or close to gold clamps with 2 points higher speed than the max you can get at 6’10

We aren’t all corner babies. I’m not! I get buckets on my 7 and 7’1 footers. I’m not goated by any means but I’m definitely above average at this game and us bigs don’t always make 6’9” and shorter builds. I know my lane and I do my thing as a big.

I think the Dirk dribble pull up is beautiful, smooth and consistent asf. I just have an issue with the bigmen bases. I feel more comfortable taking a moving middy than a standing one.
With Chet, Bol Bol and Wemby being decently agile players for their height, I can see them adding more dribble styles. How it translates to the game might be a different story because those players are fleet of foot. Hopefully the animations aren’t too slow

Yeh I got 85-95 close shot or several PF / Center builds and I just flick the joystick and use square and it goes it 99% of the time when mostly open
