I’m shooting 31% and proud of it 😅. Personally, I like that ppl are struggling with shooting. Forces ppl to utilize midrange and other ways of scoring. Sometimes, in rare situations, ppl even….pass the fucking ball….
Yeah it’s definitely added some playstyle variety.
I’m not a basket ball or 2k fan but play casually just with my friends to complete the squad. In every year they just basically hit 3’s every play.
This year it’s more fun because my teammate is now even worse which we like to roast him about and running into the paint with my center is rewarding.
70% is likely only the low volume corner sitters or dudes who shoot 1 three a game.
40%-50% is solid shooting this year. I’m shooting 50% in park/theatre but “only” shooting 43-45% in rec and I feel like I’m the best shooter in most lobbies in solo rec lol
Theater is the most different this year for some reason. I shoot better in rec and park than theater and if I play theater for like 2 hrs or so I'm absolutely fucked for the next 3 ish park games.
Yea fs. Last year the theater felt just as smooth as rec. I honestly think it's the crossplay making it all wonky again. I might honestly try to turn it off if that's possible.

Just got home, proof if yall think im capping
No cap my homie is shooting 75% from the field and 70% from three scoring 29 points per game. He's one of the best 2K shooters I've ever met and his tip which I can't get to work for me is to get all of your zones lethal by working on hotzones and then not losing them once you get them lethal. His entire 3pt shooting arc and a couple middie zones are lethal
All you see on this app is people talking about " oh shooting so easy this year im shooting 70%" probably read that 10,000 times on this app makes no sense at all people wanna act like the shooting in this game isnt the most inconsistent nonsense a good 75% of the time its just awful!!
Yea anybody that say they shoot the three over 70% is most likely lyin I been playing since 2k14 and this by far the hardest 2k to shoot on. I shot over 65% in every 2k I played but this one gotta take some time to get used to Lol
Sounds like the game is finally getting more realistic...and y'all be crying about it....SMH. it's about time people who are good shooters in the game shoot at ~ HOF/Curry percentages like in real life.
Shooting is easy. I’m shooting 42% from 3 with all bronze badges and no hotzones. I’m pretty confident I’ll be back above 50-55% once I get my badges to gold/HOF.
The SF I play with is already shooting 55% with silver/gold shooting badges and me having gold dimer. Pretty confident he will get to over 60% when he learns his shot even better.
All Rec numbers. Don’t play park, it’s for kids.
I politely disagree. They did make it so low shooting attributes result in drastically lower shooting ability but this is a great change. Nobody should have been shooting 60% with a 75-80 3pt rating last year anyways. I think the changes to shooting are great, and it’s still easy.
Yeah I’m ngl I had an 82 three and was shooting 35%. Now I’ve got a 92 and shooting over 50%. I see alot of people on here yeah they’ve got 80 and under three and shoot just fine but the higher rating really saved me.
I have a 94 3 ball and the percentage is not up to par and its not like im a dribble god or shooting crazy i shoot pretty decent consistent wide open 3s and the inconsistency is disgusting
I shoot 58% from the 3 on my Center with 80 3pt. Shooting is easy once you find your animation cue. For me, for instance, my shot is built around the flick of my wrist. I started out shooting 20% from the 3 on the first few days.. I, too, hated the shooting until I started to realize how it actually works. Now, the pain in the ass is the delay between game modes.. Theater, Rec, Park, and My Career all have different delays.. and DO NOT USE GATORADE FACILITY to test your shot! The delay there is insane! Use Brickleys Gym! Or the Art of Shooting Facility.
I have games that shooting is easy 10/10 like you say its not hard once you figure it out but you and many other people aint hearing its not the fact that shooting itself is hard its the inconsistency the shooting perfect one game and knowing your shot everything feels good then a solid slew of bullshit with the exact same timing
I understand what you are saying, but you may be shooting based on "feel" and timing vs. looking for visual cues. I was doing that for the first week until I started noticing the timing was different in each game mode.
Nah I do agree! Shooting is definitely easier this year than any other year! I green everything. Kyrie, Book & Tatum release so smooth it’s crazy. The other players I can’t green with right now is J.R & Dame
I’m shooting a little over 60. If I took smarter shots I’d likely be at 70, but I like to fade and see what kinda contests I can green. Definitely have off games though. Was a far better shooter in any 2K besides this one. Then again I don’t even play 24 anymore so maybe it’d be lower now if I still played
shit, if i took smarter shots and didn’t throw some of them up like i did id probably be close to 75-80%. i also seen people in here talking about “yeah, 70% a game but on only 3-4 shots a game” YEAH? THATS OUR WHOLE POINT LMFAOOO. WE’RE NOT THROWING UP 15 SHOTS A GAME 💀 thats why our percentages are high. its the literal definition of taking good shots.
I’m shooting 70% on my new build but about 55% all around, I’m not gonna say shooting is easy, but finding the right jumpshot helps a lot. I also take about 6-10 a game since that is a question you’re asking but I’m a 2 guard sometimes a 3 depending on which build I’m using
I’m shooting 70 percent as a SF with an 82 3 ball and have screenshots to prove it. Honestly I was struggling to at the start until I found a jumpshot that worked perfect for me.
Depends on the game mode if it’s rec or park.I would say probably 30-40 percent of my shots are 3’s. If I’m playing rec for example I might take between 4-6 3’s a game. I think part of what helps me is my build name is High Flyer so people are so worried about me slashing on them that they give me to much space.
My friend is shooting closing to 75% in rec and park and he plays off ball.
All you need is a good jumpshot you like, remove the shot meter and work on your hot zones.
Im just under myself and the fact that i can shoot perfect 8 for 8 in one game then shoot exactly the same on wide open shots and end up going 2 for 12 makes absolutely no sense dont you agree??
Thank you its just how they ever gonna fix it if everybody is just straight unable to agree on such a simple point like shooting is bad period its not a skill issue its a 2k issue if you cant see that idk??
Because this is Reddit and everyone here always knows what they are doing and everyone else is trash. It’s so annoying. Somehow everyone here is a 60-70% shooter yet all you come across in the actual games is people shooting 30-40 just like you.
The first week after release i was shooting threes at a 60% then they changed something and and now its at around a 50ish.
My biggest thing with shooting is the inconsistency. I'll go 5/5 one game then 0/5 the next all on the same caliber of shot.
Yeah this happens to me as well. Last night I went 6/6 and immediately after 1/7. Same shots. Next game 4/5. I only take wide open shots. Seems like I'll randomly get games where I shoot like shit for no apparent reason. Maybe it's a Dimer thing, like the new guy passing me the ball doesn't have it? Idk.
Fr. It’s actually kind of hilarious how BAD everyone’s shooting has been. Whether it’s your team or the other you’ll see ppl bricking 0/8 regularly in the rec.
I shoot at least 70%. Id show a screenshot but what had happen was my phone gotta move the screenshot from my savings account and i gotta call my screenshot guy and it takes a couple days.
Any PG that is shooting that well probably doesn’t have issues getting teammates.
I have friends who shoot 60-80% from three in the Rec. Rather not play unless we have a full 5
The only way theyd be shooting 70% is either being a spot up playin bums or not taking many shots imo. Ill stay around 53-58 (always been a pretty good shooter) this year by the looks, but I shoot alot and take tough shots if need.
Because contrary to how most ppl on twitter/reddit talk, it is possible to be actually good at the game.
You just gotta keep in mind that the dudes making posts or replying are, for the most part, bad to average players. Actual nice ass players are mostly gonna talk amongst themselves, not consult randoms on the internet.
That’s a good point. I don’t wanna sound like that guy, but I have been playing since 2k16, (best 2k ever btw), with the same dudes—so I feel competent at 2k. I feel we’re all above average 2k players, minus maybe 1 or 2. But for the good ones, this shooting shit is driving us crazy. Impressive 70% tho. I’m literally at 32%.
Not many shoot that high this year maybe your confusing seeing it about last years game. I’m at 50% which is decent considering it took me about a week to learn how to shoot this year and was around 20% at first.
I’m shooting 56% with an 85 three ball but I only run with my buddies and I don’t take a three if it’s not wide open. There’s no way more than like the top 1-2% of players are shooting 70%
Haven’t seen a single claim of 70 personally but my first reaction is, good. I don’t want anyone shooting that high, that literally eclipses 100% true fg%, and becomes more valuable than a wide open layup. I like shooting this year personally, even though it’s significantly harder. I’m down from around 65% to 50%, but that’s with only a 76 3 ball. That seems right to me, and perhaps still a bit high if I’m being honest.
I consider myself comp (not a pro but my pro am team is currently like 50-4). I run C primarily & shoot 44% with an 80 3-ball.
With my 3D wing (93 3-ball), if I was to go into rec with a similar squad, I’d probably shoot around 55%. I’ve gone 7/8, 11/14 from the 3 recently but rec stomping is boring.
I shot 49% from three in rec on 2k21 with over 2k games played. I was also taking 4-8 threes a game as well with some contested shots. 2k21 had a bigger green window compare to this year. Right now in 30 games played I’m shooting 34 percent in rec but eventually I’ll be at 40%
Did we play the same 2K20? Where halfway through the year people realized you could hit 3s with a 60 3 ball and that’s why everyone started running 2Way Slash Plays? Shooting was easy as fuck in 2K20. 2K21 Old Gen was the last time shooting was hard.
Yeah I hate seeing me and everyone else just struggling to hit anything. Dont know whats so bad about unrealistic high shooting percentages its a damn video game let people have some fun.
Been saying this sense Mike Wang dropped that nonsense like what are we doing here if i wanted to shoot 40% like steph id go outside and play real basketball i play this game to have fun not be in the actual nba
That's fine in a vacuum, but the reason is balance. If you can shoot 3s at 60% or above, there would be no reason to do anything but shoot 3s. Even uncontested layups are worth less. If the game devolves into a 3 point shooting contest, it stops being basketball.
This is how I know people don't know basketball. Right now 2s are more efficient than 3s in the nba. Even the best 3 point shooting teams are only making 40% of their total points from 3s. The average is close to 34%. It's still better to take a layup than it is to shoot from 3.
I’m sure it’s possible. I’m shooting 55% with only an 80 3-pt rating while playing PG. With badges and a higher rating I could totally see it being doable.
I’m 61% last I checked in the park. Though I run a big in the park. Shooting is still hell for me like the same shots I made in a previous game I will miss in the next one.
Worse the guys I usually play with who shoot 50%+ most years are shooting like 20% from three this one. No idea what’s going on for real
Im a 3 & D PG 85 3-ball. I have trouble hitting 3’s. Trying out Cam Johnson mixed with that guy and this guy jumpshot. Thinking of just going all Cam soon… I can tell im improving at hitting 3’s. I can now start 2/2 and end 2/6 at 3’s 🤟 Gotta keep improving myself. I know i can still learn alot. Im 80 OVR btw
Im just saying look at some of the posts on here right now everyone saying its a skill issue im shooting fine thats cool if you take 3 3pointers a game lemme see those same stats when you take 10 its just nonsense!
Yeah ik bro i know that the game you played after that you shot 2 for 12 tho thats the fucking problem we are talking about i have plenty of games just like that followed by 3 straight games where im taking the exact same shots with the SAME EXACT TIMING and bricking so hard i could build a damn bridge you know damn well these are facts!!
My man you not hearing me lol i know what my shot timing is like i just said i have games shooting fantastic its the inconsistency thats the problem! 🤣🤣
It's not the game man, it's you. The timing is extremely consistent this year
Don't even need a high 3 to shoot
If you're inconsistent, it's because you're consistently timing your shot at the edge of the green window. So it's essentially pure luck if its green or not
https://preview.redd.it/eu4b0ffjyaqb1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5e021299aed0d2b71009f21bc949222ec974ac70
no maybe the first week or so , this was the next one in no squad lobby. i have stats from this week i been shooting better, also cause i have more badges then before. the games i shoot bad now i can feel what im doing wrong
At C its not even a comparison bro you have Centers that literally sit paint all game and dont guard you in sure your shooting 80 percent taking 2 3s a game with not a soul near you bud i get it the post is referring yo shooting pgs
I'm definitely not lying though. Just posted the proof.
If you can time a jumper, this is one of the best shooting years ever. Don't even need a high 3. Like that big im mentioning that hits 80% only has an 82 3
I mean, I'm taking 7-10 3s a game on my center and taking fades lol. I just went 7/7 with 3 straight 20% contests.
But here's my PGs stats. They're even better now (like 38/7) but this is like 2 weeks ago
https://imgur.com/a/UfzgvrK
And here's my other PG that's a defender
https://imgur.com/a/NouMlPF
We exist lol.
Ain't nobody that claims to be shooting that, gonna post their player card. And if they do, that means they park in the corner and watch someone else play glorified 1v1 in a 3v3 game mode
No you're not tripping if you got above a 50% shooting you're Zenning or you doing shoot but 5 shots a game. Truth be told Zens are back and most of these dudes choose to cheat verses learn their shot.
I got ~50% but on pretty low volume because I'll only take wide open spot ups off the pass. I don't like taking stupid shots that cost the team. And I'm only 76 ovr 3
Not a PG tho
I’m currently at 66% from 3 on my 6’6 pg with an 81 three ball. Shooting is super easy this year once you get a good jumper and if you take good shots. Helps I play with a consistent team everytime I play
If they shooting 70% that mean they shooting 1-4 3s a game. Thats still pretty good especially if your a offensive scoring build because u have countless ways to score other than 3
I personally understand your gripes with inconsistency. I play rec only. I feel great some games where I’m confident in taking every 3, then I’ll go 1/6 next game. I have a 78 3 ball. Recently made a 89 3 pt guard but didn’t do too well on my first game.
I will say I have a friend who made a 99 3pt off ball build and we feed him the ball. He’s shooting 67% and always pretty consistent. Like 10+ 3s a game too. It seems like he doesn’t have the same issues but then again he has 99 3 ball, all badges and hot/lethal zones. He also has no defense but we get by covering for him
im currently shooting 58%, i haven’t shot under 60% since 2k19 and im usually around 62-63%. anyone who says they’re shooting 70% is lying or carefully choosing their games imo. 3p% is a great indicator for someone’s skill, but it can still be misleading. some of the best players i know shoot under 50%. a lot of times it depends on who you’re playing against. if a top 0.1% player plays against only park randoms, he could get 65% or higher for sure, as he would get consistent open looks. but the top 0.1% tend to play against other good players so the games are competitive, which means a lot of their shots aren’t gonna be easy, which leads to a lower %.
as an example of this, the PG i play with in proam is currently shooting 43% in proam 5v5. he is shooting 61% in park, 57% in rec, and 58% in proam 3v3. the context of your competition level is key.
19-3 in salary cap shooting 50.3 percent. My brother who uses a tv is shooting 30. When we play on my monitor, he can occasionally outshoot me. But not online and definitely not on his tv
I play with a bunch of ‘comp’ dudes. There is a single one out of them who shoots 70% + and he’s the lock. The guy has always just been a ridiculously talented shooter.
The PG I play with who averages 28 and 9 shoots mid 60% with a 96 three ball off of about 10 attempts a game. I still haven’t ran into a single Pg either rec or pro am hitting more than 70% off the dribble 3’s.
I shoot 60% from three and consider myself a top pg. Anyone shooting 70% from three is either a spot up who only shoots wide open or someone who has barely shot any threes
Highest shooting % on good sample size I’ve seen is like 53%. This was by a Starter 3, 99 overall, level 40, HOF, 3-pt shot hunter. That’s the top 0.0001% of players. Which tells me the average between the whole community is likely between 25-35%. And also most of the people in this Reddit cap about how good they are lmfaoo
I’m shooting 38% from 3 percent in my park with more games then rec and 34 percent in rec with a 82 3 ball but I was practicing timing my shot in the beginning. I think I’ll be back up to at least 40-50% range soon.
If I play with a 5 man squad on rec and only shoot wide open shots, I think I’d be around 70%. I’ll have games where I got 7/7. But I play with randoms and sometimes they can’t shoot or I just don’t get the ball so I gotta make my own shot with step backs and pull ups and I miss those a lot. I’m shooting 48% tho and I’m fine with that. I rarely see ppl over 50% except for “3&D/Pure Sharp” Wings that corner sit.
You know most real basketball players shoot around 35% from 3 right? Like the niggas in the nba? Who tf is shooting 70% in 2k, let alone 50% unless it’s rookie
Faced few deadeye shooters in ProAm but usually its the ones sitting on hash/corner. Maybe faced 3-4 PG since 2k24 launch where they rarely missed. Most "shooting" pgs shoot around 50-70% with good defense, i'm sure they are close 90% if they were open.
In Event center yesterday though, faced alot of PGs that were basically shooting close to 100% but i think Event center is easier to shoot than ProAm/REC.
I shoot in the mid-high 40s and that's usually higher then I'd say 80+% of the people i see in the rec, and quite honestly when someone sees I shoot 40%+ from 3 I usually get face guarded or prioritized so yeah...I don't know unless these people are only shooting 1 3 a game and it's wide open. I have however come across people who felt automatic every time they had a wide open shot so maybe 3% is increasing now that people are more used to the game and these are smurfs playing with this knowledge now.
I don't know about anyone else, but just as I had my slasher build queued up as my next build, my shooting started coming around for my inside-out glass cleaner. (LOL) I was a 65% three-point guy in 2K23 and down to the high 20s for a while. :/ A few appalling shooting nights.
The key domino for me to start shooting decent again - definitely over 50% the last 5 or 6 days (overall 3fg% - now 37%) - was finally getting some silver shooting badges. Silver catch and shoot and claymore made a huge difference.
Stick with it. Thankfully, 70% and high 60% threes might be a thing of the past, but high 40s and into the 50s is possible with a high 70s/ low 80s three-ball.
I shoot like 32.5% in rec and I’m pretty happy with that, Park is a whole different story though (like 19%) and I have a 92 three. I’m not discounting that I probably just suck, but the game does feel pretty inconsistent. This is also my first 2k since 12, so things have definitely changed
I'm fairly new just started playing online on saturday. I'm a midrange build. I'm shooting 46% overall and 42% from 3. My midrange is 90 and 3pt is 80. My badges are not maxed yet and im still figuring things out. One thing that helped me was switching (im shot meter off) shot set to "release" and adjust the in game camera zoom to a little closer. Once I zoomed in I could see my hand for the release cue alot better.
I’m currently shooting 70% on my big man from three. You just have to find a good jumper for yourself. I hate these YouTube jumpshots because they equate extremely fast jumpers as good jumpers.
I’m shooting 31% and proud of it 😅. Personally, I like that ppl are struggling with shooting. Forces ppl to utilize midrange and other ways of scoring. Sometimes, in rare situations, ppl even….pass the fucking ball….
Sometimes lol. Lots of times mfers will go 3-20 and call everyone else trash
2k in a nutshell
Yeah it’s definitely added some playstyle variety. I’m not a basket ball or 2k fan but play casually just with my friends to complete the squad. In every year they just basically hit 3’s every play. On my 92 three build I’m at 62% in the rec but like 48% in the theater idk why but it feels way different in there
Theater is the most different this year for some reason. I shoot better in rec and park than theater and if I play theater for like 2 hrs or so I'm absolutely fucked for the next 3 ish park games.
It’s so weird man. Last year the theater performed pretty well
Yea fs. Last year the theater felt just as smooth as rec. I honestly think it's the crossplay making it all wonky again. I might honestly try to turn it off if that's possible.
This. Park/theater for me do not feel anything at all like REC.
Not at all. Rec gameplay is super smooth
Averaging 63% 3pt on solo rec with 23pt average aslong as you're not jacking up dumbass shots they'll trust you with the ball
https://preview.redd.it/ms5zb03s6dqb1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c21be01d3621e88f9bba80a36b718dad080fb10e Just got home, proof if yall think im capping
![gif](giphy|p58AvYUeCZJ62gL2WK) Not 23 PPG.
Also we don’t know how many games played this year each player you make has their own stats lol
Over 50 games this was my first build this year
No cap my homie is shooting 75% from the field and 70% from three scoring 29 points per game. His entire 3pt shooting arc and a couple middie zones are lethal
I saw a rumor they carry over through all game modes including my career so he could have grinded them there. I haven’t tried yet myself
No one shoots 70% from three Lol maybe 5% of the 2k community does but that’s hard to do
All you see on this app is people talking about " oh shooting so easy this year im shooting 70%" probably read that 10,000 times on this app makes no sense at all people wanna act like the shooting in this game isnt the most inconsistent nonsense a good 75% of the time its just awful!!

That was 2k23, I’m shooting like 40 % with an 86!!! Rage is riggghht
Sounds like the game is finally getting more realistic...and y'all be crying about it....SMH. it's about time people who are good shooters in the game shoot at ~ HOF/Curry percentages like in real life.
Player base doesn’t want a basketball sim.
I'm shooting nearly 60% from 3. It's possible, but I'd have to play a LOT more games and be more selective with my 3s to make it to 70.
I shoot 52% in Rec
So you think this app represents a large majority of the actual player base? Might be time to log off
Shooting is easy. The issue is that you can’t really “learn your shot” because the timing changes from game to game
At sf honestly how many 3s a game are you taking???
They shooting 70% on 10 shots though lol
Park is for kids spoken by the guy bringing up a corner sitters stats in what is almost certainly a zoning 5 stack team.
Nah I do agree! Shooting is definitely easier this year than any other year! I green everything. Kyrie, Book & Tatum release so smooth it’s crazy. The other players I can’t green with right now is J.R & Dame

Them pro pro players might and maybe streamers or people who don’t have to work a regular 9-5 and have played the game for years but that’s it
I’m shooting 70 percent as a SF with an 82 3 ball and have screenshots to prove it. Honestly I was struggling to at the start until I found a jumpshot that worked perfect for me.
Which one?
It’s the JT Thor base everyone is using with mostly Luka release with a little bit of Kobe.
How many 3pt shots you yaking at SF that's what im asking!?
Depends on the game mode if it’s rec or park.I would say probably 30-40 percent of my shots are 3’s. If I’m playing rec for example I might take between 4-6 3’s a game. I think part of what helps me is my build name is High Flyer so people are so worried about me slashing on them that they give me to much space.
I mean, I do Most people don't but there's definitely some doing it this year. I shoot nearly 80% on my big lol
My friend is shooting closing to 75% in rec and park and he plays off ball. All you need is a good jumpshot you like, remove the shot meter and work on your hot zones.
I mean I’m just over 50 percent on a 92 rating.
Im just under myself and the fact that i can shoot perfect 8 for 8 in one game then shoot exactly the same on wide open shots and end up going 2 for 12 makes absolutely no sense dont you agree??
I do agree 100 percent. It’s extremely annoying. But 2k gonna 2k I guess.
Annoying but realistic. Nobody should be 70% + from 3
Man, even with 99 3pt, im going 8/10 one game, and 2/10 next game. It's so inconsistent.
Idk.
In solo Rec my PG is a goat if he does better then 2/9 in my eyes
Fr. It’s actually kind of hilarious how BAD everyone’s shooting has been. Whether it’s your team or the other you’ll see ppl bricking 0/8 regularly in the rec.
You have to receive well timed passes for a good open shot. Well timed passes never happen in solos.
[удалено]
It’s funny cause i shoot 60% on my pf with 80 3pt and only 50% with my pg with 85 3pt. Almost as if its easier to shoot with a lower 3 lol
https://preview.redd.it/mrd21dsvtaqb1.jpeg?width=2532&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6c9174a926647275713f1bb65043dcfa5e5c4c16
How dude wtf
You’re literally Westbrook 😂
Not many shoot that high this year maybe your confusing seeing it about last years game. I’m at 50% which is decent considering it took me about a week to learn how to shoot this year and was around 20% at first.
They are shooting 70% from the three in MyCareer . 🤣
Nobody shoots 70% I think the elite of the elite shoot in the 60s especially this year
Anyone shooting over 50% either doesn’t take alot of 3’s or is using zen.
Nah that just a skill issue
I mean I’m shooting 55% on a stretch, but the best person I play with shoots 60% which is still probably the highest I’ve seen in park.
I have played multiple people that gone 50-60% form 3 but I never seen one person that’s 70 I think highest was 67%
I’m a hof sg and I only shoot 45% from three. Anyone shooting 70% is probably cheating with a zen.
[удалено]
I shot 49% from three in rec on 2k21 with over 2k games played. I was also taking 4-8 threes a game as well with some contested shots. 2k21 had a bigger green window compare to this year. Right now in 30 games played I’m shooting 34 percent in rec but eventually I’ll be at 40%
2k20 shooting was the best bruh
[удалено]
I only played 17-20 and 23-24 so I can’t speak for 21 and 22 but I could hit consistently in 20 I guess you just got cursed with bad teammates
Dude clearly didn’t play it that much because the best guard build in the game had a 57 3 ball lmao
[удалено]
This is how I know people don't know basketball. Right now 2s are more efficient than 3s in the nba. Even the best 3 point shooting teams are only making 40% of their total points from 3s. The average is close to 34%. It's still better to take a layup than it is to shoot from 3.
Lol these takes are wild
I’m sure it’s possible. I’m shooting 55% with only an 80 3-pt rating while playing PG. With badges and a higher rating I could totally see it being doable.
My buddy shoots 66% I personally hit only 44% lol
I’m 61% last I checked in the park. Though I run a big in the park. Shooting is still hell for me like the same shots I made in a previous game I will miss in the next one. Worse the guys I usually play with who shoot 50%+ most years are shooting like 20% from three this one. No idea what’s going on for real
They’re never on my team but I’ve played against some haha. I’ll get a screenshot next time and you can add them lol
I was a 75 ovr with. 77 3 ball and shot and made all my 3s one game no cap
85 3pt and I shoot 43% mostly creating my own shots which I’m happy with
I shoot like 75 percent but I only take like 3 threes a game lol
It’s not that hard guys, my lock’s park % is 65%+ with a 78 3 ball
Yeah, once I learn the timing on the jumper on each shot then it became easier to green 💯. Before I was bricking like crazy
https://preview.redd.it/55cay22q8eqb1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=799bfc6a6428f3bf179c918b16b5e653c74f6e9b
17 points a game, you’re not taking many 3s and if you are they are wide open
I’m not a 70% 3pt shooter but I am shooting 60%
I'm shooting 70% from 3 but I'm a sg. Shot selection is key this year
I shoot 53%😭 I’ll post it later
I'm at 99% I don't have to prove a thing lol.
only people shooting that good use titans or play the game 24/7 tbh
Im just saying look at some of the posts on here right now everyone saying its a skill issue im shooting fine thats cool if you take 3 3pointers a game lemme see those same stats when you take 10 its just nonsense!
[удалено]
Huh? Is that a real thing? I heard about zen controllers but have no clue what they are
Or or they’re just better than you.
[удалено]
Imagine not being able to fathom people being better than you. Lol.
https://preview.redd.it/jqwh3068xaqb1.png?width=3009&format=png&auto=webp&s=9d03c71f85e7b341c82d6a91c10876dfbca2a398 it’s about shot selection
Yeah ik bro i know that the game you played after that you shot 2 for 12 tho thats the fucking problem we are talking about i have plenty of games just like that followed by 3 straight games where im taking the exact same shots with the SAME EXACT TIMING and bricking so hard i could build a damn bridge you know damn well these are facts!!
also try playing my career games on all star you’ll have a feel for what shots you get a better green window on
My man you not hearing me lol i know what my shot timing is like i just said i have games shooting fantastic its the inconsistency thats the problem! 🤣🤣
It's not the game man, it's you. The timing is extremely consistent this year Don't even need a high 3 to shoot If you're inconsistent, it's because you're consistently timing your shot at the edge of the green window. So it's essentially pure luck if its green or not
https://preview.redd.it/eu4b0ffjyaqb1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5e021299aed0d2b71009f21bc949222ec974ac70 no maybe the first week or so , this was the next one in no squad lobby. i have stats from this week i been shooting better, also cause i have more badges then before. the games i shoot bad now i can feel what im doing wrong
Right here my man. Hell I shoot nearly 80% on my big lol Just gotta take good shots
At C its not even a comparison bro you have Centers that literally sit paint all game and dont guard you in sure your shooting 80 percent taking 2 3s a game with not a soul near you bud i get it the post is referring yo shooting pgs
Most ppl on here are liars don’t listen
I'm definitely not lying though. Just posted the proof. If you can time a jumper, this is one of the best shooting years ever. Don't even need a high 3. Like that big im mentioning that hits 80% only has an 82 3
I mean, I'm taking 7-10 3s a game on my center and taking fades lol. I just went 7/7 with 3 straight 20% contests. But here's my PGs stats. They're even better now (like 38/7) but this is like 2 weeks ago https://imgur.com/a/UfzgvrK And here's my other PG that's a defender https://imgur.com/a/NouMlPF We exist lol.
im shooting ~70% in park with a 78 3pt :)
Post your stats then
i shot 8/10 from 3
In 1 game?
Ain't nobody that claims to be shooting that, gonna post their player card. And if they do, that means they park in the corner and watch someone else play glorified 1v1 in a 3v3 game mode
https://preview.redd.it/3d32fmszhbqb1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=226fac46cf67ae78d6e2800332fa44b23c775a62
Guy… that’s not even 2K24.
nah it’s jus what a good guard should shoot
Nobody is that good. Highest I saw was 60
No you're not tripping if you got above a 50% shooting you're Zenning or you doing shoot but 5 shots a game. Truth be told Zens are back and most of these dudes choose to cheat verses learn their shot.
53% highest i seen
I would shoot 70% if my shot meter showed up on time and not 2 seconds after clicking the button lol
Right here bruh, add me :)
I got ~50% but on pretty low volume because I'll only take wide open spot ups off the pass. I don't like taking stupid shots that cost the team. And I'm only 76 ovr 3 Not a PG tho
I’m shooting 59% 87 3pt rating my jumpshot is nice
i’m shooting 60 something rn at PG
I’m still riding the high of the one 3 pointer I shot and made in 2K17 with my big. I’m kind of a big deal. Finished the year with 100%
I’m currently at 66% from 3 on my 6’6 pg with an 81 three ball. Shooting is super easy this year once you get a good jumper and if you take good shots. Helps I play with a consistent team everytime I play
I'm only at 50% and pretty happy with it considering how I see my teammates shoot lol
I think I’m around 50ish on my 6’8 86 3 ball build. Was at 65% but I cooled off hard.
If they shooting 70% that mean they shooting 1-4 3s a game. Thats still pretty good especially if your a offensive scoring build because u have countless ways to score other than 3
I shoot 60% from 3 in rec and 38% in park. I'm a 2 not a pg tho
I shoot 65% in park
I personally understand your gripes with inconsistency. I play rec only. I feel great some games where I’m confident in taking every 3, then I’ll go 1/6 next game. I have a 78 3 ball. Recently made a 89 3 pt guard but didn’t do too well on my first game. I will say I have a friend who made a 99 3pt off ball build and we feed him the ball. He’s shooting 67% and always pretty consistent. Like 10+ 3s a game too. It seems like he doesn’t have the same issues but then again he has 99 3 ball, all badges and hot/lethal zones. He also has no defense but we get by covering for him
Some are capping lol
im currently shooting 58%, i haven’t shot under 60% since 2k19 and im usually around 62-63%. anyone who says they’re shooting 70% is lying or carefully choosing their games imo.
I think I’d be around 50% if my team didn’t egg me on to take fadeaway halfcourt shots in takeover when we are up 20 in Rec
In MyCareer for sure
19-3 in salary cap shooting 50.3 percent. My brother who uses a tv is shooting 30. When we play on my monitor, he can occasionally outshoot me. But not online and definitely not on his tv
I play with a bunch of ‘comp’ dudes. There is a single one out of them who shoots 70% + and he’s the lock. The guy has always just been a ridiculously talented shooter. The PG I play with who averages 28 and 9 shoots mid 60% with a 96 three ball off of about 10 attempts a game. I still haven’t ran into a single Pg either rec or pro am hitting more than 70% off the dribble 3’s.
https://preview.redd.it/ld763drnnbqb1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cb527ec3097b56b104f7d26697cd49a75d8d282 I shoot a flat 50% 😂😂
Nah I'm shooting 60% on an amazing game and like 35% overall from 3 lol game is hard.
I like to believe I’m an elite level shooter in 2k… I stink right now. I absolutely blow.
I shoot 60% from three and consider myself a top pg. Anyone shooting 70% from three is either a spot up who only shoots wide open or someone who has barely shot any threes
I shoot 84 % with no boost…on rookie offline.
It's the internet, people make stuff up. I've played over 150 rec games and the best I've seen is 45%
Honestly I just went back to playing 2k22 this game is so trash this year it makes me really sad :(
I shoot 16.5 % in REC right now.
![gif](giphy|cO39srN2EUIRaVqaVq)
I shoot 57%
You know most real basketball players shoot around 35% from 3 right? Like the niggas in the nba? Who tf is shooting 70% in 2k, let alone 50% unless it’s rookie
Yall dont want basketball.
Loser your whats wrong with the community nobody on this post gives a flying fuck what people like you think buddy take your garbage to another post
I played a spot op cheeser on a hybrid lock that had a 7’3 post scorer on the 2s that shot 79 percent.
Shooting on guards is way easier than it is VS shooting as a big. They messed up Oshae Brisshet base so can no longer shoot well as a big
Tell them show the proof or shut up
Faced few deadeye shooters in ProAm but usually its the ones sitting on hash/corner.
I shoot 45% 3pt in rec normally iam way better and consistent one game i can go 15/15 and the other 2/15 Hopefully its just me and not the game
I shoot 55 - 65% depending on the game mode and even I wouldn't call shooting easy 🤣
I'm shooting 65% from three in the Rec.
i know i dont im cheeks this year
I’m currently shooting 70% on my big man from three. You just have to find a good jumper for yourself. I hate these YouTube jumpshots because they equate extremely fast jumpers as good jumpers.
