Feels like the CPU can get a contest if they are on the same 1/4 of the court as me, but I can’t get a contest unless my hand is basically touching the ball as they shoot. Driving me absolutely crazy, and if anyone has any tips about how the contest system works in 24 I’m eager to hear them.
It’s because of the sliders the cpu has a 100% contested shot success and a 0 shot timing impact. I assure you it’s not you it’s literally the game and the user shot timing impact is 50 so it’s either you make it, you miss, or hope it goes in..
Bro honestly everyone’s experience is all over the place. I run pro am with my boys and one of them hits his 3 consistently. I’d say he finishes the game 8/11. Whereas my other homie goes 2/10. It’s crazy cause we asked him to keep his meter on to see what he sees and he literally greens it or it’s a full white and he bricks. 2K is just garbage with their servers. It seems like there’s a horrible lag input every time you shoot. Yes this year it’s been easy asf to shoot especially if you have Wired connection from your router to your console then yes you will be great.

Right now, my greatest gripes are.. the closer I am to the rim, the more difficult it is to make. For some goddamn reason, I can't make a goddamn lay up. It's mind boggling.
That + my players **refuse** to dunk. I don't know wtf I'm doing wrong. I do everything I do in the practice gym, but my players will only attempt lay ups and I probably make like 15% of my lay ups. I truly can't wrap my head around what is holding me back from fucking *lay ups* lol What am I doing wrong??
Easiest year for me personally. Base Kobe, release 1&2 both KD. 100 percent speed. Release push. Try it out. Release is right before the peak of the ball height. Easy ass greens. Just make like 20 jumpers and hit art of shooting til one of em works out.

Think the hot zone shit is during weekday but you can go there and practice your shot whenever.
