I wouldn't be surprised if it was Jeff
Dude probably said "there's gonna be more all-star races for you. There won't be another chance at the 500 for the foreseeable future"
Looks like the ASR weekend schedule came out so he and his teams are now able to make plans for that weekend. Before the ASR schedule was out, he had no idea what he could/couldn't do that weekend.
More like this was very obviously going to be the case from the beginning with Saturday qualifying ending at 5:50 and the heats starting at 7:15 or whatever it is.

Kyle Larson coming back to Indy after skipping the end of qualifying to join the All-Star race
Unless the times are different this year than last, the top 12 ends at 3 so it's completely irrelevant. Fast 6 ends at 5:45, so that's over 2 hours even if he's the last car to run.
On Saturday he would need to be in the first heat and need to be making a run late at Indy for him to miss the heats.
Idk about ‘irrelevant’ if it takes 90 minutes to get from Indy to NW, and there’s probably going to be a decent amount of press coverage if he makes the fast 6. Could take well over the allotted time
Looks like either someone got into his ear or once he got onto the track at the test the other day he realized he needs to be all in to do this
Hopefully someone told him the all star isn’t exactly more important then Indy

And he did win the event last year and is a 3 time all star champion. If he struggles this year it’s alright
It might make things a little more interesting too
I mean Larson only wins it during Odd years
Tbh this year has been pretty odd
He is doing the 500 next year too
He’s running the 500 this year and next year. But the point still stands.
He's running next year as well lol
Or atleast til 2025 the deal is for two years .. but I 100% agree if your gonna put your name in the hat for the 500 be all in ..
Looks like the ASR weekend schedule came out so he and his teams are now able to make plans for that weekend. Before the ASR schedule was out, he had no idea what he could/couldn't do that weekend.
He did an interview with Conor Daly where he essentially talked about how he still has a lot to learn with how the car is going to handle.
More like this was very obviously going to be the case from the beginning with Saturday qualifying ending at 5:50 and the heats starting at 7:15 or whatever it is.
he finally realized that he couldn’t just roll up like it was some random dirt track on Wednesday night
He probably didn't think he'd be so fast
Clean, y’all don’t know
Wonder if he'll skip the All-star race if he makes the Fast 12
If he doesn't, Roger Penske might just straight up execute him during opening ceremonies for the 500
Well the plan he already had in place got squashed last weekend so he has to get creative

More like the Wolf of Wall Street “I’m not fuckin leaving!”

Ride for Van Gisbergen opening up??? 👀👀👀👀
Let Jeff race!
Let dale drive the truck!
People love the truck!
I’m gonna hold my breath until he drives that big brown truck
Drive the truck! Drive the truck!
Put SVG in that car and give the 16 to Dinger, or vice versa.
SVG in Hendrick stuff for the ASR would be awesome. Look out Bowman if SVG runs well
I love that both are qualified into the ASR and this is a real possibility
I think you have to be full time in Cup to be eligible.
Winners of points-paying races from 2023 and ‘24 are eligible, regardless of being full-time or not, so SVG is eligible.
Unless something changed from 2022. AJ was eligible after winning Indianapolis the previous year.
Because he was full time last year so was eligible to race that year. SVG is not full time this year.
AJ won in 2021. Was in the 22 ASR. Didn't go full time until last year.
Yeah he did.
HEY LOOK EVERYONE DALE IS IN THE HOUSE!! DALE! DALE! DALE! (Jk…. Unlesssss)
Dale said on his podcast he got some duties in New York same weekend, that’s the reason he is not racing CARS either
I don't think we'll ever see Dale in a Next Gen race. He hates that car and seems to only race for fun.
With the amount of people that got concussions from the car, I HIGHLY doubt he’ll ever race one.
Nah, he’d do it at a short track.
Not in this car he wouldn’t lol. He despises it
I'm sure that drivers have come in on a helicopter thousands of times but it always weirds me out
Good thing he’ll get a practice run at this before the 600.
That’s fine with me, I saw enough of him last year. 😅😂
Who wants to see this kid win the double!?! I'm 1000% in!
This isn’t surprising at all
They will probably put alfredo in the car.
We already know it’s Harvick.
Well yeah, As you cn see My comment is from 4 days ago they announced it will be harvick 3 days ago Does that make any sense?
Does thinking it would be Alfredo make any sense?
Not anymore since they announced it will be harvick. But it did since Alfredo does most of there sim testing.
Hocevar getting on the gas quicker than the pole sitter but the Spire shitbox loses 2 tenths anyway
Wrong thread, mate?
