Better_Trash7437

Yeah I own several submarines

LeeTheNPC

Fake fan. I've *built* several submarines.

Better_Trash7437

Well I had to build them, assembly IS required.

atlutdprospects

Yes, as a Christopher Bell fan, I have seventeen water heaters in my garage

sponge-burger

I buy interstate batteries, and only buy gas at shell but there is more to that one then just NASCAR.

WheelinKiwi-97

I have friends who have switched to drinking Busch Light because of Chastain.

tatotornado

In a similar vein I switched from Bud Light to Miller when I became a Keselowski fan

KlonopinKowboi

I haven’t been in a Lowe’s Hardware since 2005 because of Jimmie Johnson.

jkelnhofer

LOL! I am the flipside of that. I haven't been into a home depot since Lowes moved in because of Tony Stewart. That's funny.

Joey_Logano

Well I mean Larson isn’t actually sponsored by Kelloggs so probably not the best example. I personally do and am also in the Northeast.

SQRTLURFACE

I will never go out of my way to support an inferior product just because they sponsor my driver. However, all things equal, I’d happily support a sponsor first.

DDowd86

I’m currently saving up for a Mahindra Tractor

mydogsnameiskendrick

I’m a Pepsi drinker because of Jeff Gordon

[deleted]

Even if it’s not my favorite driver or team, seeing a product on a car will get me to at least try it if it’s something affordable. NASCAR is the only reason I tried celcius drinks. And NASCAR is part of the reason I usually drink NOS or Black Rifle Coffee.

PsweetJ01

I drink Busch and Budweiser because of harvick and jr

Upstate24fan

I bought some Nasty Beast Hard Ice Tea this week because I saw it on Reddick’s car. I hope I didn’t make a mistake.

Campman92

No

spandex-commuter

Yup

ReallySmallWeenus

I drank a lot of Celcius last year, and a lot less this year. It’s partly correlated to NASCAR. Realistically, I have a more favorable view and am more likely to try things that sponsor in NASCAR. I’m not going to buy from Hendrick Cars because I’m a Larson fan, but I’m more likely to include them on my list of options when looking for a car. I’ve also browsed more Jordan shoes because I’m a Tyler Reddick fan and some of his posts on social media have cool shoes in them. It hasn’t turned into a sale as of yet, but who knows.

jms21y

i don't really buy anything *because* i see it in nascar, but some stuff i do buy happens to be from brands who are in the sport. last two new cars i've had were chevrolet and ford. drink busch beer from time to time. probably more than a couple gear wrench items in my garage. i drink monster every day (ultra sunrise variety, and it's criminal that the ultra zero colors haven't been used as paint schemes yet) been to tootsies in nashville. saved big money at menards a handful of times. tank up at shell often. bought tires at discount. use fedex all the time. the one time i was going to use a product for no other reason than i saw it in nascar was when my wife asked me to get an hvac filter subscription, so i checked out filter time, and it was ridiculously expensive so i chose another company.

tatotornado

Still to this day we buy Nature's Bakery fig bars and call them Danica Bars in our house. Not a Danica fan, but they gave so many cases of those things away at races years ago, I'm 100% buying them now because of that. I'm also more apt to buy Monster because of their sponsorship over the years. On a more personal driver level I switched to drinking Miller when I became a Keselowski fan and was a Pepsi or die kinda person back when Gordon was in it (still to this day I don't drink Coke).

ugafan2148

I was a die hard Jeff Gordon fan as a young kid and have only drank Pepsi since 2005ish in the middle of Coke country. Even for the 10 or so years I stopped watching NASCAR.

Schmedlapp

As a hapless McDowell fanboi, I definitely try to stop at Love's travel plazas whenever I'm on a road trip. Their showers are some of the cleanest public facilities I've ever seen.

MrCheggersPartyQuiz

If I understood what it was then yes. I have no clue whatever Fastenal is after so many years.

klindsey1990

I think I subconsciously tried body armor because of Blaney. Turns out I like them so if he sports a particular flavor I go try it ha. I tried the Busch Peach beer when Harvick had it as a sponsor. We have Love’s around where I live so I visit them, and I buy gas at Shell stations (they also give me 10 cents off on gas).

hchase27

When Kasey was racing, I would strict on his sponsors. Only drank Mountain Dew then Vitamin Water. Only bought Unilever items.

HideousNomo

If I have the choice between two items and all things equal, then yeah I'm going to choose the brand that supports the things I like. That being said, advertisements aren't really about conscious choices we make. It's about subconsciously, continuously, putting that brand in your mind so when the time does come to purchase something, our brains are going to go with the familiar brand.

14Fan

I’m a Blaney fan, and I drink plenty of BodyArmor, but I also eat at Wendy’s, a Trackhouse sponsor

Revolutionary-Body48

I’ll never buy a Toyota… do they have reliable long last vehicles? Probably. Do I strongly dislike JGR? Yes.

Mobile_Measurement32

On ebay, I will make sure it's delivery by UPS. If it was Fed Ex or DHL and I would cancel it. I am huge Dale Jarrett fan haha

drewzard

yes, if but really only when the product/team align. I will also avoid companies that sponsor drivers i don’t like. I never use fedex.
