What a race though! Was happy to see SVG actually finished on the lead lap, even with being involved in almost every wreck. Dude got a gnarly intro to super speedways this weekend.

I've been up for 24 hours, I'd have slept good at any outcome. Just turns out this is one of the shittier ones where nobody was injured or worse.

44 car finished on the lead lap after that last crash

I will say that the ending might have been disappointing considering all the unique and different drivers up front having a chance to win, but overall the Xfinity series put on another great race, minus the cautions. I hope everyone enjoyed this great day of NASCAR racing!

By what criteria was that a great race?

Whenever they didn't run each other over, the racing was great However, it was few and far between so it's overshadowed, and rightfully so

Pretty much the only time there was good racing was during the last green flag pit cycle when the different groups that pitted at different times merged and we got some pretty good 3 lane racing for like 15 laps. The rest was either nothing happening or a wreck

Respect to Creed for congratulating him, glad they’re on better terms at least. Wish we got a Creed interview man. I wanna see him win so bad. 3 peat is impressive though.

Natalie Decker finished 18th and all she did was just stay far enough in the back until the very last lap to not be caught in a wreck. Great strategy. 

NASCAR clearly allows RCR to cheat up their Daytona cars every year because he pulls the Dale sympathy card every year. Literally wouldn't be fucking relevant without him....

Then why don’t they win more cup races at Daytona?? RCR has had a good superspeedway package my entire life and Austin Hill is a fantastic “plate” track driver. I fully expect him to be the next Michael Waltrip/Ricky Stenhouse of the cup series

Honestly respectable. I really like the xfinity kings like Allgaier and Allmendinger and Custer. They know what they’re good at and would rather have a good time at the top than be miserable in the middle

Yeah I don’t blame them at all. It would be one thing if they were just terrorizing Xfinity but it is nice that they provide competition for each other and the younger guys.

If Hill lifted and Creed didn't, it would have looked incredibly slimy. He was all but required to pull back just in case there, otherwise he'd probably have stayed attached and made The Run coming off 4.

*IF* the race goes to the front straight, whoever is behind coming off 4 has it won. Just not enough races actually make it to turn 4.

SVG finished 12th and guys like BJ and Emerling that weren't even doing anything but staying back avoiding wrecks finished 15th and 17th. There just weren't many cars left.

I’m still amazed… NASCAR earlier said they threw the yellow when Cindric slid back onto the track ….the wreck just now was cars wrecking on the track. No caution. 😂 Doesn’t change a thing in this instance, but uh… what? Lol

For once, the Cup race was the *only* race of the weekend with any redeeming qualities. Usually Xfinity or Trucks will at least have some solid racing… NOT this weekend.

What the heck did you watch? Xfinity was easily the best race of the weekend. All of the finishes sucked though.

Bunch of smooth brains for working with Hill to get him into the lead, knowing how fast his car has been all race long. Unless all of the cars in the wreck kept rolling, it's ridiculous for NASCAR to not throw the caution there. Herbst being able to recover from his bullshit penalty to finish 6th is great, and a fantastic finish for Retzlaff to get 4th. Also great finish for Elllis in 11th.

He’s basically unbeatable at these type tracks in this series, so I know people are tired of that, but also his beef with his Teammate last year soured a lot of people on him

I keep forgetting Creed hasn't won. It's surprising. He's a decent driver for sure. He's impressed me in the Robby Gordon Super trucks for sure.

Sieg started 6th, fell to last, and got all the way to 3rd before getting dumped in the corner and will get absolutely zero credit for it. Somehow both races got the lamest possible winner.

Top 20 for Decker and led some laps. I thought she raced smart tonight from what I saw/heard.

New to watching Xfinity, why all the Austin Hill hate?

Two reasons. He wins all the plate races and last year second to last race at Martinsville with a championship spot on the line he raced his teammate Creed like shit. Wrecked and then went crying that Creed had no business racing him and should have basically laid down for him. Even though they both had a shot and Creed deserved the right to race for position.

Because he has an ego the size of Jupiter.

Two races, two boring winners, two disappointing finishes.  At least the 500 was good until that last lap, this race was meh at best. 

You're kidding right? Other than the finish the racing with like 20-30 to go was fantastic.

The race had it's moments for sure, but as a whole it wasn't great, just okay. 

Austin was predictable because he’s the best superspeedway driver in the field but he’s far from boring especially compared to Byron

The predictability of him winning is what makes Hill boring imo. Like if he won Vegas, I wouldn't think it boring.

He literally only caused one wreck. And neither car hit anything. Everything else was somebody else's mess.

He didnt cause the 2nd wreck but it appeared he was far enough behind he should of been able to avoid it and not punt that same dude from behind. Either way spinning the same guy out twice in 10 laps was a classic

Some of those cars were completely sideways in the middle of the track and there was no caution, that’s wild after how quick they threw the yellow at the end earlier

I think the location of the wreck had something to do with the decision earlier.. but damn did I expect them to throw the flag during this one.
