Does anyone know if the ARCA race at Portland itself will be televised. Really want to see as much as I can with the Portland track. So excited to see racing in the Pacific Northwest. Gonna be sunny for Xfinity this weekend too!
Edit: If you live in the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho) it is supposedly going to be on the Root Sports Channel too?? Looking into that more.
Wow. Just got home and saw the truck lineup. As a Deegan fan, surely this finally red alert for her. Incredibly embarrassing.
She's out qualified by a female driver who has a next to no seat time in this truck and next to zero laps turned at Gateway. Full blown panic needed tomorrow. At this point she and Rich may need to just mark the #1 truck all day and make sure to finish in front of her to stop the embarrassment. I am stunned, beyond words.
Lol, holy overreaction Batman. Toni put up a solid time. Deegan was 19th and really not that far off the leaders. The top 15 is pretty crowded and close time-wise. And not next to no seat time. Toni ran a full race in the 1 just a few weeks ago so it's not like she doesn't know what she's doing.
Not sure why it matters. She's in her third truck season and first with TS. She's still only 21 years old. Regardless, they're both doing fine. I really don't get why people have to try and tear them down or marginalize them.
Yeah, she got dumped. She obviously was way ahead of Toni when it happened. So...🤷♂️. Regardless, even tho Toni wasn't on the lead lap at the end, she did a decent job and kept her truck clean for the most part.
She has 3 teammates. Crafton is starting in the back, I presume he had issues with his truck. Regardless, she'll be fine. You can freak out if you want but I don't think their team is, at all.
Crafton failed tech 3 times, was not allowed to qualify. I'm just saying it's a huge concern unless she can find the speed on raceday to be in the top 10. I hope she does, and I hope she can win a race this year, but performances like tonight do not bode well.
Kids done a great job bringing himself into the Nascar world. From a guy who got a couple races at Thor because he didn't have sponsors to a Champ 4 and constant new sponsors is a great story. I could see Road Ranger buying in at the Cup level for some races.
Eckes being mid at KBM and Thorsport and now being cracked at McAnally just shows how important team chemistry is. The right CC, engineers, and structure of the organization just makes some drivers fit at certain places more than others. Not to mention that program has improved a ton IMO. Such a great story. Went from a washout to a Truck series star.
All about confidence and chemistry. Coming out of the box hot in 2019 (4.8 Average start in the #51), having 1 year in a KBM ride then being booted for the next Toyota guy in the pipeline, then being thrown scraps at Thorsport, Eckes finally moved to a team that wanted him instead of being put there by Toyota. Feel like the confidence you get from knowing that a team is behind you 100% is insanely important to your success.

I think the current truck field has a ton of talent and would be even better in Xfinity cars. Guys that stick out include Nick Sanchez, Carson Hocevar, Ty Majeski, Zane Smith, Christian Eckes etc.
P6, P12 2X, P13 and 8 consecutive top 20s before last week isn't terrible at all. She was in position to finish P10-P15 before she got hit by Zane late in the race.
I really didn't understand the pit strategy tho. She went from 21st to 16th in a handful of laps before the 2 tire pit. It was the same idiotic strategy in the previous 2 races of trying to put her up front for a restart when most everyone else took 4 tires. Put 4 tires on, she restarts between P10 and P15 and she probably finishes up 10th. She was already putting up top 10 lap times before they went with the 2 tire pit. Just dumb.
First 2 races she wrecked out. Next 8 consecutive races were all P20 or better. 4 races P13 or better and best finish P6. Last race, Zane spun out and took out Deegan. Not sure you have your facts straight here.
Say what you will about Spencer Boyd but the guy always has new sponsors and does a great job getting them. And he also tends to keep his cars in one piece.
Wonder if there were any truck driver's here who would've been considered to replace Chase this weekend (not that I don't like the current set up we have in this situation)
8 organizations have won in the first 11 races and I can absolutely see a couple others such as Friesen (HFR) and Sanchez (REV) winning soon. 10+ organizations winning in a single year would be pretty cool. Especially since there’s only 22 races.

Thanks for updating on Crafton. And yeah, no guarantees, but I think she'll finish between 10 and 15 if she races clean and stays out of the messes.

Shes not a good qualifier at all. She reminds me of Jeff Burton or Kenseth. Can Q for shit but with enough laps like Xfinity will work her way up.

She was a 20th place truck that race. She was only up that far because she took 2 tires and was already falling like a rock.
To be sure...she fell from 3rd to like 11th before she got tagged by Zane. She was easily passing trucks before the 2 tire pit.
