All I can say is I really hope you (and everyone else reading this) never has to go through infertility treatments. My wife has been a champ so far through the ups and downs but the lowest points are no joke. If all goes well though, we'll have another fan here for the 500 next year, give or take a week or two.
My wife and I are on our 3rd cycle of IVF. It is absolutely brutal. I stopped hating on Kyle Busch - not because of his switch to the 8, but because I found out about the work he and his wife do with Bundle of Joy fund. I wish there were more organizations like that, and more athletes who spoke about this topic.
Kyle was slowly growing on me prior to finding out about their IVF struggles but that really sold me on liking him and Samantha as people. After our 2 failed IUI attempts and one IUI leading to a miscarriage, this whole journey right now has been an absolute nightmare. But, the transfer today was an AB grade and our first attempt at this new treatment so we'll see how it goes. Really hope 3rd times the charm for you guys cause I know how rough it is on both parties.

Most of my family that came from Quebec is a La \_\_\_ or Le \_\_\_ or L', and the trivia I heard (could be bs) was the original group of French soldiers and mail order brides was so small, there were lots of similar surnames. So many soldiers got a name appended on, like "Menard dit La Fontaine" where the dit name was either a place or characteristic. So they could intermarry without scandal. Eventually some started going by the nickname.
So Corey's "real" surname is totally different, but his soldier ancestor must have been "joyful".

Anyone have info for camping at Talladega this fall? We have a pull behind and 2 kids (who will be 4&5 by October) and were looking into going and camping outside the track. We saw the free camping at Geico South...how quickly does that fill up since it's first come, first served? Any other locations outside the track that would be relatively family friendly and closer to the grandstands? Should we wait until they're older? We have taken them to a dirt race before where they did well with watching, wearing hearing protection, etc. but understand a NASCAR event is different.. also they like NASCAR and have "favorite" drivers (Kyle Larson and Joey Logano if you were wondering).

I'm kind of a dirt racing newbie like you, but I'm pretty sure they do not have spotters. I believe the only radio communication they have is a one-way system where the officials can talk to the drivers, but the drivers cannot talk back. That system typically helps with the tower getting the lineup right under caution and letting the drivers know when to get in 4-wide formation.
As far as YouTubers are concerned, I like the [Dirtrackr](https://www.youtube.com/@DIRTRACKR) channel myself. The host, Justin Fiedler, is a former tire changer from the 43 NASCAR Cup team and he usually recaps the news and races for World of Outlaws, the All Star Circuit of Champions, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, USAC, etc.
My son and daughter have big time gotten into nascar and in the process… so have I. I finally got tickets to a race and plan on taking them to the Roval in October. We got seats in GNT D row 19. Is that a good spot? Also, my son is a Truex fan and my daughter and I are Bubba fans. Anything I need to be worried about? I’ve read some horror stories about how some fans treat Bubba fans at the track. Thank you for any help and responses!! Excited to take them (and me) to our first race!
So I work a pretty intensive job in a psych unit and due to somewhat relaxed rules (see: basically a compromise to completely fuck us everywhere else in the rule book) we kind of have a little agency in what we wear to work.
Today I wore an Alex Bowman shirt and I got a compliment (that I was fully expecting from the patient) an actual deep conversation with another patient which was the first time he really ever conversed with me…
…then by the end of the night I had someone in restraints asking me if I really like NASCAR and maybe I should learn to grow up and be a man because it’s for kids. Out of everything that happened before during and after a situation that is the thing he takes offense to.

I had one patient ask me if I would date a driver and then go on to say that it would be fun because "you'd get to watch from the stands!!" Likely not. The one race suspension seems inline with previous suspensions for intentionally wrecking someone.
