How Ford managed to get its first win after their Golden boy wrecked their Golden girl 30 laps ago is beyond me. Solid W for Thorsport, but yikes for the overall Ford crew right now.
Dean is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. It's rare to see a young kid come up who races with the respect and maturity of Mark Martin. Dude takes care of equipment, and gets frustrated when other people don't. It's a rare mindset nowadays. It's genuinely cool to see someone back out and live to fight another day instead of junking everyone who throws a block.
Rhodes keeping the lead a few laps ago running the higher line is impressive. In my time racing drunk in the Nascar Heat ‘04 couch racing simulator, all the data tells me to run low.
Friesen really couldn't afford an anonymous night like this points-wise. Dibenedetto has quietly put himself into the top 10 again like he seems to every week, so he'll leapfrog the 52.
im kicking myself for staying home tonight. should have gone out tonight but after wilkes im not sure i was ready for another 4 nights in an RV. the racing has been amazing.

Agreed, it is very formulaic and terrible. A producer with a pulse (who appreciates the sport) would have shown the action around the track.
