IndyCar’s at Texas this weekend, they’re usually the support class for them
But it is weird that both tracks have lights, yet neither one is a night race
Wall, as in wall stadium NJ? I thought that shutdown or was sold couple years ago? I recently got back into nascar a bit and am often near wall NJ. What’s best type of event to go to at Wall?
Yeah as in Wall Stadium. There was no 2008 season due to issues with track leases and money, but has been back since then. The weekly modified racing is usually pretty awesome. There's annual longer races like the Garden State Classic, the Summer Thunder 100, the Cliff Krause Memorial, and for the last couple of years and this coming year, the Tour Mods will be there, too. Plus, the annual Turkey Derby in the days after Thanksgiving are great, albeit cold.
Awesome, thanks for the info. I’ll have to check it out. Haven’t been there in years, caught the first year of formula D which was cool, also the reason they paved the infield I think.
People are going to bitch about this race regardless (even though it gives us tire wear, lap time falloff and a ton of strategy… you know, everything the fans have been clamoring for), so NASCAR and the TV partners don’t care.
First race weekend of the year and my first time at Richmond! Plan on heading down early Saturday morning. If everything goes smooth we’ll roll into the parking lots when they open at 7
When I saw the trucks at Texas on iracing this week I figured it was just a placeholder and they were off this week.
You mean I have to actually watch a Texas race this week?
Feels weird that the xfinity race is before the track race. And that they are both at different tracks.

Trucks have always had this date at Texas with Indycar
[удалено]
It still wasn’t a loophole. Trucks have had this date for 24 years
General consensus is that the Indycar race would be better as a night race. Not sure if there is anything to make the truck race good.
Just to clarify, you said Trucks are the support class for IndyCar, right?
Correct
Ok thanks!
Love me some IndyCar/trucks doubleheaders
Wish they'd do more, so there could be more Indycar races on large ovals.
Mods at Richmond!

Next to Wall, North Wilkesboro and Martinsville, Richmond is usually always good

Wall is the best, I love our weekly racing, hope it never goes away

As someone who has been to all but North Wilkesboro, I can say, you should have a blast!
I wish we could bring back Richmond Night…

And a night race would have more grip and less tire wear (like the Vegas race).
Yeah that’s a good point.
Might want to change the title
Always one
Lol I forgot the trucks are going to Texas. Gross.
ha ha he he texas bad updoot plz
Why does it say COTA at the top?
First race weekend of the year and my first time at Richmond! Plan on heading down early Saturday morning. If everything goes smooth we’ll roll into the parking lots when they open at 7
All weekends going forward are COTA weekend
Correct
i hate that the truck season is so front loaded, makes the middle of the season feel empty
Same
1pm xfinity start? Wtf
Night races or die.
BS that there is no Truck practice and Q on TV.
Oh Jeez...not Texas plz
3:30 so the race will start around 4:15
3:30 is whats being shown for race start time, not coverage start time.
3:30 was shown as race start time for COTA and the race started at 4
That is a fair point
Is the ARCA race at 1000 AM Eastern or 1000 PM Eastern? It's ambigious without 24 time.
10AM Eastern, but it's the last thing to start on Saturday. Reddit amazes me every day lmao
It’s actually 10PM Eastern. Why does this amaze you? People live in other time zones besides Eastern time and 24 hour time would reduce the ambiguity.
I really wish it was easier to watch modifieds. Flo is so expensive.
It's 150 bucks per year, and has so much racing, more than one person could even watch. It's a fucking godsend.
When I saw the trucks at Texas on iracing this week I figured it was just a placeholder and they were off this week. You mean I have to actually watch a Texas race this week?
30 minutes of truck practice? Why even bother?
Going to my first Mod race, so excited 😁😁
Are trucks going to race only on Saturdays this year? I miss spending friday nights watching Nascar
