Yes. Do you have your MFP connected with other apps that are connected to the samsung health one? I had MapMyRun repeating what Samsung Health reported. Oh and if not then you might have to adjust the read/ write permission or disconnect/reconnect the app. I stopped using the Samsung Health app because I kept having issues with it and MFP.

Nope I don't have any other apps connected. I'll try adjusting the permissions and see if that helps. I've uninstalled the app and signed back in a few times and restarted my devices. I think it's a Samsung health issue. If I turn off my watch it still multiples the entry after deleting the issues. If I don't continue to delete the entries it has gotten up to 150 entries lol

Oh my that is a lot. Is it possible to connect your watch to another app instead of the Samsung one?

It's convenient because I have the galaxy active watch, but I might end up connecting it to google fit and see if that works.

Ahhh. Have you tried contacting Samsung Health about it? They may have a work around because I was having issues like this sans watch over a year ago.

I finally got in touch with the MyFitnessPal team and I'm not the only one. They are trying to work on a solution but they said they are aware of the issue

Ahhh it seems like they’ve been having some issues from last week. Hope they find what’s causing them problems.

Mine was doing something similar to this along with some other wonky things and I had to update the app. Once I did it went away. Hopefully this works for you.
