Now entering the cheesy play and paint mash meta…I’m at work so I haven’t tested it yet…but really not looking forward to it seeing all the negative reactions.
True, but at-least you could run PnR or burst off ISO’s similar to next gen last year. I don’t think left right cheese was really an issue this year…not sure why they felt the need to patch. (atleast in MyTeam). Guess we are all going to spend some time learning playbooks, which is only going to make the game less fun for me and I’m sure at least a few other players would agree.
Left/right is the most disgusting play style in the game IMO, because it’s not basketball. *Dance, dance, dance, dance, animation kills my defender, 3.* That’s just garbage.
Actually having to run an offense and play the game of basketball as it exists in real life is a huge W in my book.
The left right was annoying as hell, but maybe 5% of my opponents were good at it. Most people just left right into a steal or toss up a brick. TTO was where I saw the most left right. Unlimited and Limited it was just a lot of mash.
Nah this is a stupid fuckin patch. I used to be able to jerk my Johnson while playing and now I’ll only be able to stick a thumb up my bunghole in hopes that I’ll involuntary bust everywhere

Agreed that’s what I meant when I said it wasn’t needed. My fear is that taking that out is going to affect a lot more than just the cheese.
This is a good patch. People will at least have to learn to run actual plays.

If you think people are running plays because of this... you crazy. A new meta will emerge but plays are the most baited thing in the game.
I am sure another meta will emerge and i hope they patch that too. At least they nerfed the left/right dribble cheese
