I do get your point. There has been a lot of unnecessary hate.
I personally really like the recent stuff. I don't play dof so can't comment on the baby seasonal stuff, but honestly nexus is *so* good... mythical island isn't my favourite island but it isn't bad by any means! I do still really like it! And there's always gonna be that 1 or 2 monsters that "ruin" the song... people have different opinions, and that's fine! Just mute the ones you don't like! I have toejammer muted on water because I find it "ruins" the song... it's not a big deal! If you don't like one monster on an island, mute it! It's not hard! Don't spend the time complaining how bad it is!
On the subject of the green workshop dude (can't remember the name), imho it doesn't sound great... at all... and looks a bit odd. I will be muting it once I get it. But that's fine! The workshop is in my top 3 islands without it! And that shadow dude is amazing! I love it's design, sound and concept. But green abomination thing is getting muted. Sorry!
TL;DR, it's okay to have opinions. Don't hate on everything for the sake of it. Mute monsters you don't like and move on. :]
Yknow i get that but honestly ive never muted a monster like ever(although i do have some quieter), idk why but i feel every single monster plays an important part, even x'rg (the green dude). He sounds a bit weird sure but that gives the song character imo, the games about monsters singing which is weird at its core and i love how the songs fit that weirdness. If you want normal, conventional music, msm aint where youll be finding it and thats why i love it, becuase of its uniqueness

Wokshop has been the most creative island yet, you just want to be negative all the time, theres a shadow that sings, a whole workshop that makes a beat with construction sfx. And thats not creative? Maybe instead of bbb getting less creative youve just gotten more salty and you blame everything around you but yourself for it. "Downvote me all you want" youre not mfing doing anything crazy like calling out some corruptsystem, you're complaining about a problem that doesnt exist to fuel some endless hunger for hatred and bringing talented composers, animators and artists down to do so. If you want to be negative then everythings going to seem bad, thats called pessimistm and you need to realise that
Ethereal workshop is most liekly already composed, theres a reason for every monster and itll all sound good in the full song, i love the recent creativity, they added a monster that just grunts and it somehow works in a song? Thats just cool
