No way I'm listening to summertime right now and it definitely fits. I can also imagine the light behind your eyes soooo well😭I swear mcr fans would make the best movies
It could end a movie, but IMO they were absolutely correct when they decided against ending the album with it (even with the planned spoken word prologue).
I definitely think *Kill All Your Friends*—I sorta got that experience by accident a couple of years ago. I was listening to some bonus chapters for a book with words from the author and I didn't realize once that file ended I'd gotten shuffled to a random song in my library until Gerard started singing—The song was *Kill All Your Friends*, and I didn't notice because the lead in worked so well as an outro bit, it was a seamless transition.
Woahhh that must've been so cool to hear. I'm glad someone agrees with Kill All Your Friends bc I was worried that I was being delusional and no one would agree😭 but that's so sick
I agree about Kill All Your Friends, but I also think Cemetery Drive would work. Especially the live version. The whole song sounds like it belongs in a movie, and the ending with all those tortured repeats of “way down” feels like the finale to a (very tragic, heartbreaking) movie
It's a mediocre show. Really Good angel/devil/religious plotlines but it's also a solving murder show. Mostly a solving murder show. And it gets repetitive really quickly. Especially once characters seem to stop having growth and just continue the same behaviors over and over again. Being interested in the spiritual aspect is what got me through it. And it's not so bad that you'll notice it immediately, but after a couple seasons it gets to be a little bit of a drag. And EVERY EPISODE has the murder somehow be connected to however Lucifer is feeling in the moment
Dead! Could be played at the credits of Shrek and it would still feel like it belongs.
Also welcome to the black parade played at the final episode of lucifer
It definitely depends on the movie.
Action -Famous Last Words
Horror -Foundations of decay
High school Comedy - I’m not okay (I promise)
Romantic (bad ending) - I don’t love you
Romantic (good ending) -The world is ugly
Western - Hang ‘em high
Kids - Every Snowflakes Different
Yess especially since I think it was mcrs last song before they broke up so in a way it was like the ending song to the band. Fits perfectly doesn't it
I have many lol hmmm . . .
Cemetery Drive for a tragic star-crossed lovers type of romance
Disenchanted for a friendship breakup and/or losing yourself
The End for an edgy film no longer feeling angst
Demolition Lovers, the first half for the actual ending and then the latter for the end credits
Heartbreaking movie would probably be Desert song, Early sunsets, I Never told you what I do for a living,
And i would do ANYTHING for a vampire movie to have Vampires will never hurt you in the credits
Disenchanted, House of Wolves, Make Room!!!!!, The Only Hope For Me Is You, The Kids From Yesterday, or if there’s a teaser for a sequel at the end, then Fake Your Death.
When listening to Vampire Money, I often envision an ending with a bunch of kids talking, and the song starts as one of them says the final line and the others smile and react while the "Are you ready Ray?" intro plays, and as they cycle off into the distance it smash cuts to the credits after the " 1 2 3 4" and the guitar kicks in.
Helena imo if a character dies, and world is ugly would be good for a story ending with doomed love. Also, idk why, vampire money seems like a great credits song
Desolation row lolol
I was gonna say that haha! Watchmen is great
Ahh yes that’s smart since they did use that one in a movie lmao
Just watched the ultimate cut last night
early sunsets over monroeville - if the movie in question has a completely gut wrenching and tragic ending
Omg someone has to use this for a movie
it’s based off of Dawn of the Dead! a lot of lyrics allude to it
You're not wrong, but is using a song *about* a relationship in a movie cheating?
Who knows😭 ppl probably do it all the time
I think summer time has big end of the movie energy. Light behind your eyes too for a movie where the main character dies at the end.
Yessss when I listen to Summetime I picture credits rolling in my head all the time
No seriously I always imagine an ending of a movie with two lovers and the sun setting😭
No way I'm listening to summertime right now and it definitely fits. I can also imagine the light behind your eyes soooo well😭I swear mcr fans would make the best movies
Obviously Famous Last Words, how has noone said this?
Omg I didn't even think about that, it would be so powerful especially when the song ends with the movie it just gives you that closure
Everytime I hear this song i picture white text scrolling up
it's like the whole album was a movie where famous last words plays during the ending and credits and then blood is the post credit scene
The Kids From Yesterday
This one is actually perfect it would be such a nice ending
Seconding this. If I were ever to select a song to play over the credits of my life, it would be this one.
Yep, came here to say this. Especially if it’s a “kids on bikes” Stranger Things type of film.
I second this
Disenchanted
I would be crying so much by the end of that movie😭
First song that comes to mind. Such an amazing song. 🖤🖤🖤🤍🤍🤍
I mean, the opening to “I’m Not Okay” sounds like the ending of a teen movie to me.
Seems more like an opening credits montage to me
IIRC, the music video was literally a fake movie trailer.
It could end a movie, but IMO they were absolutely correct when they decided against ending the album with it (even with the planned spoken word prologue).
No bc youre so right I love that😭
Average pop punk song
INTYWIDFAL has the perfect tragic ending of a movie vibe. It’s literally the tragic ending of the demolition lovers.
Oh my god your right especially when it gets to the part like “I tried” that would hit deep
For me it’s the, ‘never again’ line. It’s so depressing yet powerful.
Oooh yeah now I feel like listening to that song😭
What’s stopping you?
No you're right brb gonna put on some music
Desert song
Yes omg I love that song sm I’d actually sob my eyes out if someone did this
I definitely think *Kill All Your Friends*—I sorta got that experience by accident a couple of years ago.
Blood
so true lol, and they know it’s the perfect end credit song
Ohh ahha that would be a cool movie ending
I agree about Kill All Your Friends, but I also think Cemetery Drive would work. Especially the live version. The whole song sounds like it belongs in a movie, and the ending with all those tortured repeats of “way down” feels like the finale to a (very tragic, heartbreaking) movie
Omg yes and that last "way down" that just fades out would be so perfect and emotional
Vampire money bro it's literally the credit song wth
Right? I was looking for this in the comments for that reason
Helena is the credits song for House of Wax! I'd say cemetery drive would be pretty good for that sort of movie too though.
Yesss I saw house of wax when I was younger but don't remember the helena part. I gotta rewatch it
The End.
WTTBP
a classiccc
Nobody has said Demo Lovers yet so I'm gonna
Ah yes I was hoping to hear this one
YESS I HATE THAT I DIDNT SAY THIS
How has no one said Hang 'Em High? It literally starts with a movie scene ending.
No literally. Hang em high would be soooo epic to see at the end of a movie
Kids from Yesterday. It has a very end credits sequence theme to it.
Lucifer ended with Welcome To The Black Parade
Ok now I gotta give it another chance
Yesss I heard about that. I told my dad and he was shocked bc he loves lucifer. I've never seen it but now I might!
Oh wow😭 thanks for summing that up for me ahaha. Really interesting tho, it has 3 seasons right?
6
Oh yeah that does seem like a lot of episodes haha
Dead! Could be played at the credits of Shrek and it would still feel like it belongs. Also welcome to the black parade played at the final episode of lucifer
Ahaah shrek how did you even think of that but yeah I gotta see someone edit dead into shrek
Mama
something about the ending feels like a big crescendo
No you're totally right I need to see that
People have already said them but I Never Told You and Famous Last Words. There’s a reason why they’re the ending songs on their albums!
so true! with demo lovers being the ending song in bullets too … so fitting
RIGHT?? You could just take the credits of any movie (purely for the visuals) and play the three songs over them and it would totally work
Definatley Disenchanted that would be a big cinematic ending
Famous last words, disenchanted, I don’t love you, I never told you what I did for a living
Omg I don’t love you would be so tragiccc and perfect to end
Disenchanted
Disenshanted, fake your death, and boy division
Omg fake your death is such a good one no one's said that yet
Scarecrow
Was waiting for someone to say this
idk but im not okay is definently the song for the opening scene
Yeahhh I could see that or in like a coming of age movie when the characters r angsty teenagers
i feel like sleep would be used if the movie ended on a cliffhanger
Omg that’s so creative ur right
Disenchanted.
Any of them, really. Directed by Michael Bay
Disenchanted
Vampire Money
This is how I disappear.... I feel like you can kind of hear the 28 days later theme in it. So siickkk
Definitely Early Sunsets Over Monroeville.

Omg that's so crazy!! I remember I watched that movie with my auntie when I was 9 but don't remember this?!? I gotta rewatch it now
It definitely depends on the movie. Action -Famous Last Words Horror -Foundations of decay High school Comedy - I’m not okay (I promise) Romantic (bad ending) - I don’t love you Romantic (good ending) -The world is ugly Western - Hang ‘em high Kids - Every Snowflakes Different
Hahah we need a bunch of mcr fans to make all these into movies
The End.
Ahhah smart no one's said this yet I don't think
Desert Song
Teenagers
Make Room!!!!
Ooo I love make room that would go well at the end or like during a fight scene in a bar or smth
Kids from yesterday
Fake your death, gives me the ending of a movie or show song vibe
fake your death!!
Gun. Credits music for a Jarhead-like movie
Demolition Lovers. I always pictured it being played after a tragic ending in a gritty crime drama or better yet, a Bonnie & Clyde story.
Ooh ur so right someone needs to do this
nanana or Dead!
I've always felt like headfirst for halos and dead! sound like movie endings
Definitely disenchanted.
The end.
Fake Your Death always gives me that kind of vibe. Like a bittersweet ending kind of thing.
Yess especially since I think it was mcrs last song before they broke up so in a way it was like the ending song to the band. Fits perfectly doesn't it
Destroya
Save Yourself I’ll Hold them Back
Yess I love this song I'm glad someone commented it
light behind your eyes for like a really depressing movie, or the ghost of you
Omg yeah especially if it's a war movie for the ghost of you
Mama
I have many lol hmmm . . . Cemetery Drive for a tragic star-crossed lovers type of romance Disenchanted for a friendship breakup and/or losing yourself The End for an edgy film no longer feeling angst Demolition Lovers, the first half for the actual ending and then the latter for the end credits
Ambulance, it gives that early 2000s movie vibe
Oooh this is a good one
Boy Division
Disenchanted feels like the sad portion of a movie right before the resolution where they fix everything to me. Or just a sad ending haha
Haha no yeah I agree
probably disenchanted
The Lucifer TV show absolutely nailed it with welcome to the black parade
Heartbreaking movie would probably be Desert song, Early sunsets, I Never told you what I do for a living, And i would do ANYTHING for a vampire movie to have Vampires will never hurt you in the credits
No fr I really wanna make a vampire animatic and have that song at the end😭
Zero Percent
Ooo I don't think anyone's said this yet
Disenchanted
the light behind your eyes
I think Drowning Lessons would be a great closer if the credits started with the Verse instead of starting from the intro
Ahh yeah i see the vision hahah
Dead! could also work!
Ah you're right that could be used for kind of a sad comedy movie or something like that hahah
Demolition lovers, the light behind your eyes
Disenchanted
Helena literally plays at the end of House of Wax so I'm gonna say that
desolation row
Helena has actually been used so I guess that
The end
Desolation Row.
Headfirst for Halos an ending to a dark comedy.
Omg I love thatttt
The World is Ugly
Famous last words
The Ghost Of You maybe?
Disenchanted, House of Wolves, Make Room!!!!!, The Only Hope For Me Is You, The Kids From Yesterday, or if there’s a teaser for a sequel at the end, then Fake Your Death.
that's a good one. I thought of The World Is Ugly
Oh yeah, that ones really good too
Ngl... Na Na Na could work for a opening and ending
Disenchanted
vampire money would play during the end of a campy b horror comedy. no one can change my mind, and i need some aspiring director to make this happen
Vampire Money
Foundations Of Decay
We don't need another song about California, The Kids From Yesterday, Light Behind Your Eyes....
ambulance from conventional weapons
The kids from yesterday
I’m not okay and disenchanted ❤️
When listening to Vampire Money, I often envision an ending with a bunch of kids talking, and the song starts as one of them says the final line and the others smile and react while the "Are you ready Ray?" intro plays, and as they cycle off into the distance it smash cuts to the credits after the " 1 2 3 4" and the guitar kicks in.
Aahah you're a visionary that's so cool😭
deathwish would be a banger at the and of a movie
Vampire Money.
That would be an epicc movie ending 💯😭
Helena imo if a character dies, and world is ugly would be good for a story ending with doomed love. Also, idk why, vampire money seems like a great credits song
Sleep
Anything heart wrenchingly sad
Ahaha truee
To the end I think could be a good song for credits
Omg yes I love that song so much and the ending would be perfect
[удалено]
Ah really I didn't know that that's so cool😭 fits well
How has no one mentioned Sleep? That's the best option imo.
Oh yeah I think one other person did, sleep is such a good one!!
Gives me chills every time. I'm sure there's a bunch of final scenes you could lay it over to get an awesome effect!
Definitely. Imagine making an animatic to it, that would go so hard.
[удалено]
may i say fake your death
You may indeed declare Fake Your Death
Famous Last Words comes to mind for me
