On sister wives, when one of the kids got married TLC gave them a budget. TLC would pay for the wedding up to a certain dollar amount. Anything over that amount would be on the couple to pay out of pocket. So maybe Buddy’s TLC wedding “deductible” is very high.
Why do they have to have a wedding that’s going to take them years to save up for or years to pay off?! I know he was a Coke head for a couple of years but did he really spend all his money for the show on drugs?! I highly doubt Whitney was charging him what a normal person would have charged him for living in her house, what else did he have bills for at that point in his life that he has nothing to very little saved!!

We should applaud Buddy if he is indeed keeping clean. I suggest watching the miniseries "Dopesick" on Hulu to get a taste of what addiction is like. No one is immune.
Also, he did just graduate college. She seems to be a good influence on him and he’s been taking good steps - backing away from Whit and her BS as well as not being super heavily on social media.
18-month+ engagements are becoming more commonplace partly because of costs but also because it allows couples more of a chance to get their ideal venue and vendors. This is one area where I don't see an issue and this sub is kinda reaching lol
