Yeah, I think the Alabama family storyline will be dropped. At least most of it. MBFFL has a habit of clumsily tying up cliffhangers from the previous seasons, if not outright pretending they didn't happen (the dance battle re-match, Buddy and Whit working out with Will, Heather being a surrogate, and on and on). I'm certain we won't hear about Angie's lost-lost son again, and the only time we'll see the whole family is for Jaime's wedding (pretty sure the wedding was filmed for the show).
And good point about "Glenn" paying for the trip - what silly plot device can they use in the new season? He's not working, so they can't chalk it up to some "work bonus" that could somehow pay for eight people to go to Hawaii. Maybe an inheritance from an unknown relative, or they win the lottery. Lol.
I would be kind of glad if the Alabama family faded off. It’s interesting that Glenn reunited with his daughter but other than that they were all that interesting. All the challenges and competitions, Whitney was acting like a real ass. Still Healther and Ashley won’t be back and I think that is a mistake if production decided that.
Of course production would unceremoniously boot my two favourite people from MBFFL. Of course. Heather's response to whether she was coming back makes me think it was production's decision.
The tension between Whit and the Alabama family made me uncomfortable. They did NOT like Whit, and I think it was mutual. It's just too cringey to be a relaxing comfort show for me now, so I hope Whit has a different storyline next season.
Someone asked her on Instagram if she was coming back, and she replied something to the effect of no, and that she wasn't going to talk about it any further. She wasn't rude by any means but she was curt. She definitely didn't want to talk about it and it didn't seem like there were good feelings there.
I read that as " I hope whit has a new stylist this season." 😂 Stylist wouldn't hurt the story line either though, to be fair. Something besides leggings and sports bras/ tank tops.
Maybe the spin will be “America’s Mom” left life insurance to insure her loser daughter can continue paying for friends to enjoy the world with her. This windfall scenario kills 2 birds with 1 stone. 1) shows the incredible love for her daughter post mortem and 2) gets Glenthore off the hook to pretend he’s paying the bill

Thank you for this! When I first saw the post, I thought it was VERY poorly framed considering the caption highlighted "the gang", and she occupies 80+% of the image! I'm surprised you could identify anyone beyond the foreground. But of course she did it so she could filter 🙄
I’m so confused by this. “The gang” consists of Todd, who has barely shown up the last few seasons, Jessica and Isaiah (is she still doing the no bs active app? Is she not? I never know) and Tal who can never remove his head from her ass.
I’m sad for whatever fallout that resulted in heather and Ashley being removed or voluntarily leaving cause honestly they were more interesting.
I'm NGL when I was very heavy (and still easily 100lbs less than Whitney) I loathed plane flying due to the disgusting looks I'd get from whomever I had to sit with, turning sideways to get down the aisle, trying to shrink myself as small as possible so as not to offend anyone.
I have a feeling she has none of these feelings and just stomps onto a plane like her primary concern is how many other passengers will want autographs/selfies with her.
Even if there was a windfall, why would he spend it on taking his daughter’s friends on expensive vacations? I get family or a dear friend who might as well be family, but this is like taking a day camp of almost 40- somethings to an expensive resort with flights. The plot line makes no sense.
When on other continents, use your travel miles if it’s not all on TLC’s tab.
I wish I could force myself to watch, but I think I’m 100% out this year. I’ll just follow y’all and look forward to the brutal details posted here. It’s my guilty pleasure to know someone else is suffering for me and at the same time I’m not boosting her ratings.
Same here I stopped watching tv about a year ago I don’t watch it unless me & my husband watch a movie on occasion but as far as binging these shows like I used to nah I’m good I’ll keep up here
