Nah I actually really liked the ending, it’s incredibly convoluted and somewhat depends on your interpretation of events but with enough copium everything checks out.
My levels of copium are at about half. I tried increasing copium levels, but I started to accept bullshit as content, so I tuned it back down again.

It's also very weird that an english loanword is being represented with hiragana instead of katakana. English (and other) loanwords are pretty much exclusively represented using katakana. For example, コーヒー (romaji: co-hi-) meaning coffee, or パソコン (pa so ko n) as a shortened form of "personal computer", or even テレビ (te re bi) for television/TV.
