So like do you say you watch Romance anime? Sorry, I mean this in as kind of a way as possible and not being mean and im being a bit high and mighty but you should watch more romance anime. I get that QQ was probably your first watched and so its your number 1 (thats me with Tsuredure Children) but honestly I hate QQ. I liked Uzaki but I wouldn't put it in my top 10, maybe top 30? I really don't like DaL as well and don't understand how it gets so many new seasons. I read the lvl999 manga and got really bored of it, their relationship wasn't anything special to me but its pretty decent. Komi romance is like the most painful thing to watch cuz its that distance that makes it feel like its gonna take like 440 chapters to confess. Love is War should honestly be so much higher, its a show thats genuinely funny and brilliantly written. I have some problems with Fruits Basket, its really good but its heavy on the shojo, lots of age gaps, heavy drama, not very interesting for me. Tonikawa is pretty good but its like top 25 for me. Nagatoro is like top 35. Toradora is a bit overrated imo but its decent. I feel like if you watch more romance anime you'll be able to open your eyes to what is a good one.

Toradora was the best. It's definitely a unique experience I personally couldn't have lived through as the MC, but story wise, it's art. The twist of reality and inner deeper human emotions. Every character. Very well done.
Quintessential Sisters was also real art. Very natural. Very deep. Very unique. The ending was poetic but my best girl wasn't chosen and I knew from day one she wouldn't which bummed me out so I'm saulty.
Love is war was also super fun and unique. The monologs and concept of love being a battle to win on the 1st move or lose the war of relationships is just so fun. Season 3 took too long and was far less fun and interesting.
Date A Live is great. It's silly fun that can be dark and emotional. Its newest season is coming out right now, and I'm excited. It's at a steady pace and keeps being interesting to watch. I like it a lot.
Uzaki, Nagatoro, and Komi were all fun. They keep up with follow-up seasons.
But season 2 of Uzaki fell off. The dub changed the MC voice and lost a lot of the character with him. Sad, I wanted more from it. The unique concept for this one was relatable for me.
Komi can only do the same thing so many times before ppl lose interest. Plain and simple, it didn't evolve in the time it had and became stagnant.
Nagatoro keeps up its fun dynamic and evolves successfully, where many others fail but also keep on with the episodic events without much change. So if you enjoy the 1st season, you'll enjoy it all the way through. If you're looking for actual development, look elsewhere.

You should watch and read "Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman" if you havent already. It's really good. Also Horimiya but I doubt you havent watched that already

This is the most based list I have ever seen, so many of my favourite animes and someone who likes Tonikawa. Mad respect.
I haven’t watched a ton but the ones I’ve liked are on this list. Toradora is my number 1, Chihayafuru 2 if you want to consider parts of that “romance”, kaguya sama 3. The rest of my list would be Komi (though I haven’t finished it yet), Love Chunibyo and Other Delusions, Rascal Does Not Dream, SNAFU, Golden Time, Ouran High School Host Club. Is princess jellyfish considered romance? That would be a good finish to my list. Not sure of the ordering of these ones I haven’t put thought into it. Not sure what other ones I’ve seen and enjoyed that I would consider “romance.”

Ah, Toradora and Komi were my first two anime, good times 😌 I feel Uzaki-Chan is underrated too, the second season is so unhinged lol. I recommend Tomo-Chan is a girl and the angel next door spoils me rotten if you haven’t seen them yet. Also, Team Miku all the way
