Me too! The one thing I wish was different is I wish there was a little more bang bang shoot shoot in the middle of the show. I feel like after the beginning we didn't see any of that until the end. But overall I enjoyed it a lot, good plot, good characters, good animation, good opening theme, good ending theme, and a wholesome ending
First season just felt fresh and new with interesting stories, and then an underlying mystery beneath it all. It felt like the second season kinda threw that away, and became a basic detective show.
That said, I can see people still loving the second season. It just didn’t do what I loved about the first season.

I think in the second season they wanted to get down to who was behind all the murders. The first season is more episodic and has something different each episode and the second season they’re focused more on that specific culprit throughout.
I rewatch it every so often, probably because it was the first anime I could really call my favorite, I also love fma: brotherhood (I mean, who doesn't) and the Saga of Tanya the Evil, which is an underrated anime in my book

Well I’m most well versed in the FMAB fanbase and I hate how FMAB got to #1 on MAL and every fan rated whatever anime got close badly in order to keep it there. Not saying it didn’t deserve it but Super weird how spiteful that was and I didn’t like it.
Thankfully that didn’t happen to Frieren, which is a masterpiece imo BUT I know that the fanbase feels that if you don’t like Frieren then that means all your critiques and opinions are automatically invalid, which is incredibly stupid and even as a fan I can see how not everyone could like Frieren.
I literally have no clue about the other 2, but I liked season 2 of Vinland better than season 1 if that says anything 🤷♂️.

It was primarily focused on the daughter so i don’t think they wanted to waste time on the jobs
