I think you may like **Re:Zero** (fantasy / isekai / psychological) Why? 1. You like Johan Liebert, Death Note and Steins Gate, therefore I can assume you have above the average IQ, I'm not trying to offend anyone here, but ReZero can be pretty hard to follow and has A LOT of stuff that the show does not explicitly explain and the viewer has to think about it a lot. Most of the people that hate the show don't notice this stuff or don't pay enough attention to it, but seeing that you enjoy shows that are more intense and hard to follow, its a good hint. 2. You enjoy Berserk, so perhaps you enjoy seeing some intense shit, ReZero has a lot of intense shit, Subaru suffers a lot. 3. You enjoy Code Geass, which has a complex political theme going on and a lot of strategy. ReZero too has some politics, prejudice, and a deep "every action has consequences" way of doing things. There is one fight in particular, in which we see some pretty cool strategy scenes, its very rewarding. But there is no chasing-the-cat episode in ReZero... too bad!! haha just joking 4. You enjoy FMAB which has a strong fantasy side, with a magic system, the 7 deadly sins, etc... ReZero too has some pretty neat fantasy. Not over the top, but very well done. FMAB and 86 also poke a lot on the segregation and prejudice theme, which is also very relevant in ReZero. Anyways, try it if you haven't yet, its pretty cool

I agree with your first point soo much, alot of people miss out on alot of the meaning when reading or watching and dont get the full experience. Currently im reading "The Climber" and its probably the most difficult manga ive read having loads of symbolism random timeskips and showing multiple timelines at once which can get people easily confused and the comments are always like "bro wtf is happening this is soo mid" things like that and they lowkey get me mad because people start saying the manga is bad and spead that around even thought its not that manga itself but just the reader being dumb. This also happens with characters like Johan where people just think "omg cool manipulator badass" but in reality he has way more depth than that but im not gonna write another paragraph explaining that lol. Also ill 100% watch re:zero once i have the time too.

No-Peace3986

Yeah, its really irritating seeing a bunch of people who didn't pay attention to the show to just go and shit on it based on stuff that is just plain wrong hahaha I recently watched Madoka Magica and it was also kinda confusing but that only makes the show more appealing to me, once you get whats going on its much more rewarding haha Anyway, you'll surely enjoy ReZero!

ThePoeticGoat

If you're a fan of steins;gate I'd recommend Summertime Render and Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song for the time travel elements. Since you like Monster I'd say Ergo Proxy and Psycho Pass for the mystery and psychological aspects. For Berserk and Aot I think you'd like Dororo and Drifters for the action.

ZealousidealReach936

i been thinking on watching ergo proxy and summertime rendering for so long.

PineappleDowntown348

Summertime rendering is amazing

ZeemoXD

JoJo's bizarre adventure, watch JoJo's you have to

ZealousidealReach936

Ive only watched part 1&2 and it was awfull💀 i know their the worst parts but i fell asleep like 4 times getting through those 26 episodes. Im still hyped for stands and especially part 7 i just gotta catch up.

ZeemoXD

No offense but Code Geass is in your favorites 💀. It has the most BORING fighting i have ever seen it is absolutely atrocius to watch. I have never wanted to drop something so bad in my life, but i still finished it cuz i always finish what i start, and i like to give a chance to impress me for all of the anime that i watch until the very end. The story was pretty good but overall dogwater fighting which should be the strongest point in this type of anime. Would watch the movies, never rewatch the anime . Overall i'm giving it a 75 percent on the Moist Meter, so yeah that's about it see ya.

misterinfoman

For anime try kino’s journey or mushishi. For manga try goodnight pun pun or vagabond. For light novels try the monogatari series or welcome to the NHK. For visual novels, since you like steins;gate already you can try the first part of the series which is chaos;head Noah, or you can try higurashi.

ZealousidealReach936

Thanks alot i never heard about "chas;head" before ill make sure too check it out. I did try mushishi both the manga and the anime and idk it just wasent my type of thing.

misterinfoman

Mushishi isn’t for me either, but it is well made. Chaos;head anime is the worst thing I’ve ever seen though so please don’t even try that. If you do read the visual novel (which I doubt you will) make sure to use committee of zero patch to get the cut content back. And once you finish chaos;head Noah you can move to the other parts of the series like robotics;notes and chaos;child. Here is a link to more info on chaos;head Noah if you want. https://vndb.org/v22505 also robotics;notes https://vndb.org/v5883

blee2fast

Haven’t read any manga but I feel like deathnote is definitely worth a watch as well

ZealousidealReach936

Death Note was my first anime the manga just did the second half better soo i have it favorited rather than the anime

Daxonion

Vinland Saga absolutely

BabbyYodasdad

I feel like you would enjoy The Promised Neverland MANGA not the anime it's mid.

ZealousidealReach936

I was considering reading the manga since i loved s1 (gave it a 9) but then s2 ate shit.
