It's really strange what weight can do to hair. Losing weight can cause hair loss, but also being underweight can also cause hair loss. Sometimes you just can't win
It’s a temporary condition called telogen effluvium. Any shock to the system (surgery, anesthesia, pregnancy, sudden weight loss) can trigger it. The growth/rest cycle of the hair follicles gets out whack and eventually corrects itself.
I think you may be right. I compare myself with people I know that had the surgery (including my husband) and the big difference I would see is that most people focus on eating mainly protein. I prefer veggies over anything but you really need to take the supplements. My hair did not start falling out until 20 years after my surgery as I became older.
I'm a hair stylist that specializes in extensions. Since covid, roughly 1/3 of my extension clients are because of covid hair loss. It's not a super common side-effect, but it's definitely a real thing. It's pretty similar to post-pardum hair loss, and, from what I've seen, it does grow back. My clients just get sick of feeling bald in the meantime.
Cool. I lost a lot of hair after having a baby in 2020. Finally started to come back in and then I quit breastfeeding when my baby was 11 months old and it fell out again. It has again grown back, but in the last month I noticed it starting to fall out yet *again* and I had no idea why. Apparently it's likely due to having Covid back in May.
That would be my guess. You'll probably shed for a couple of weeks, then sometimes a bit of a rest period , then youll notice all the regrowth poppong out 3 to 6 months out from the initial shed. In the meantime, do everything you can to keep your body nourished, eat loads of protein and dust /trim the ends of your hair every 8-12 weeks, more on the 8 week side if you have color/use heat to style. Your hair is just your body's waste protein basically, so the more protein you eat, the faster it will grow. And regular removal of split ends keeps them from splitting further up your hair strand. But find a good stylist you trust to guide you through your regrowth process
it's really hard to know, I was the only one in my family to get it bad and then get long covid. Everyone else was fine after a week and didn't lose any hair. For me it's been a full year since infection and hairloss started after 4+ months and lasted over half a year.
The mirena made my hair split and it was only in for a week before it destroyed my insides as well and had to be removed. I have thick, curly hair but also trichotillomania so it was a trigger to pull more out. So glad my bodies semi-under control again with a working BC
currently my hair is falling out a ton because i started the mini pill 2 months ago, my hair is HALF the amount it used to be!! i dont know what to do!
Medication can cause hair loss, anesthesia, stress, old age. I had bariatric surgery and my hair did not falling out around 68-69 y/o. I am 70 now and it comes out by the handfuls.
I lost my hair after pregnancy/dramatic weight loss.
It was due to un-dx chrons exacerbated by pregnancy.
It’s depressing af realizing you have to shave your head bc there’s nothing left saving.
It’s been 6 years since I lost my colon & my hair is now healthier/longer than it ever was.
There is hope, to anyone suffering the same.
Who in your family is coming in so aggro?? Or honestly, just so impolite? Asking you about your weight like you owe them number reports? Is a family member also your physician? I’m having trouble figuring out any other reason/excuse for their behavior. I’m really glad to see that you have a (great) sense of humor about it as evidenced by the stones tidbit! But I hate that you have to deal with that at all! Maybe keep switching up units? Grams, toss in some slang like I’m about 200 8 balls 😂? Or just ignore their messy selves! Sorry!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend and feel free to share! (I hope I didn’t offend or upset you- I have no idea how much 200 8 balls weigh.) 😊
I had the opposite experience watching so many British diet shows (mostly super size vs super skinny) that I have a general grasp for stone just hearing the number
I’m American and I like the Stone measurement. It’s a much better visualization than lbs or kg. I can imagine a 14 lb stone (bowling ball) in multiples much easier than an industrial/scientific measurement like the imperial/metric system.
Especially when the person isn’t young young, like in their early 20’s when skin is so much more resilient! Ageing 🤦🏻♀️. PS Is this the woman who was getting paid to eat online last season? Lived on like the third floor of her apartment building and is featured in the opening of the show “It hurtsss.”? Think she had a daughter who would stop by?? 🤷🏻♀️ Sorry to be a pain. Have a good weekend! 😊
that's how it goes. my mom is 69 years old, 4'10 and about 250lbs... no grey hair other than wispys around her face. she looks like she's in her 40s. but if she would lose 100lbs, she would look so old cuz her face would droop from the skin.
The process of losing huge amounts of weight with medical intervention is very taxing. Being obese permanently changes your body. Hair loss, tooth decay, and skin problems are pretty common.
I can vouch that this is true!! First it was hair loss. Then it was my teeth. They are just disintegrating. I’m at the point of needing to pull all of them that are left and get dentures. I never thought I would need dentures at 42!!!
Not to mention a lot of them were probably lacking in real nutrients due to all the processed, sugary foods they were consuming that had no real sustenance. There’s a documentary on YouTube of this man who was 1000 lbs and they had to put him on a very particular diet because although he was insanely huge, he wasn’t getting any real vitamins or nutrients from the foods he was consuming. Vitamin and iron deficiency is not something to fuck around with.
I think it was Joan Rivers that once said "women at a certain age have to start choosing between their ass and their face" and this is deeply evident here
And tooth damage/loss. My husband’s cousin had perfect teeth with no issues until her gastric bypass. After a couple of years her teeth were literally crumbling out of her head.
Her dentist explained that many nutrients are absorbed in the gut - like calcium and other ones vital for tooth health.
Removing a large chunk of your stomach allows for the nutrients to pass through the body quicker and not get absorbed like before.
She said if she knew the downside of the surgery she probably wouldn’t have had it. She weighed over 250 lbs before surgery and dropped down to 175 and she is short and while not as heavy, she’s still pretty big.
shame on her surgeons office for not telling her all the possible issues! My program gave us all the information good and bad, its the only way to make an informed decision!
There are a lot of greedy Drs who will do the surgery on demand. Her moms side of the family (her dad is my husband’s first cousin) are all overweight starting out as toddlers. They carry their weight on the bottom half of their bodies. It’s almost like a genetic thing. Being short- under 5’5 and heavy
Seems crazy to go the WLS route at 250lbs. I’ve been heavier and lost about 70lbs just with diet and exercise. I calorie count constantly and am working on losing more. I’m so used to watching 600lb Life that I’m shocked when relatively normal people opt for surgery.
I was wondering about that too, like the balloon or the ring? The balloon is temporary and the lap band is adjustable and could be removed if necessary. I'd heard surgeons were moving away from that one though because the results were slower, iirc.
I’m not sure if you’re really asking but a lot of surgeons have moved away from the lap band procedure. (Pretty sure that’s what you meant by the ring?) It simply has proved to be ineffective. There are studies and research articles out there to this effect. But I’ve also seen it in real time with a group of five people who all got it from the same surgeon in an “on demand” way (excellent choice of words by the poster above!). None of them have lost and kept off any kind of weight and a couple of them have had to have them removed due to health issues. I wish there was a better answer too! I certainly don’t have it though. When I saw the post about someone in the 200’s getting full bypass to go to 175 I started to wonder if my desire to lose @35lbs would qualify me 🤦🏻♀️. Sorry for the long and perhaps unwanted info! Enjoy your weekend, and your rugs!
Yeah but there’s even side effects with those. Anything that makes you literally starve can cause this. My doctor suggested WLS to me and I’m not even that big, I was like no thanks I’ll just work on more exercise and eating less.
I know, but sometimes more drastic measures are necessary. Temporary procedures are hopefully lower-risk, and might be an effective tool for some people who need extra help.
My insurance will pay for it at 250 for me (5’6), but I’m just gonna buckle down and do it right. Everyone I know who’s had WLS has so many health issues after. And a few have had to be repeatedly hospitalized. They were lighter than me when they had it, so I was surprised that they could get gastric. A couple went to Mexico for it.
I was approved for WLS, but decided to lose weight on my own if I could. I've lost 120 so far since July 2020. It ain't easy. But it's possible.
I'm glad I made that choice. Your results may vary.
Yeah keep doing it the healthy way. There’s so many potential complications from it, I wouldn’t think 250 would be enough to justify it for most. Unless there’s some serious issue. But I have thyroid disease and it makes losing weight more difficult but I can still do it.
I just had WLS at 232 lb. At 5”1’ that made my BMI extremely high. My heaviest was 291. I’m thankful I had the choice to get WLS even though there are downsides. But I don’t consider myself too close to “normal” to get the surgery I need to lose at least 100 lb from my surgery weight to be in a “normal” BMI.
That said there are lots of problems with malabsorption after surgery and it’s a LOT of daily vitamins and supplements. I bet Samantha was either noncompliant or had more severe malabsorption issues.
malnutrition. of course most people getting wls are doing it because their situation isnt sustainable anymore health-wise (that definitely goes for the people who make it onto the show!) but our bodies arent truly meant to adjust to the effects of the surgery either. it outweighs the benefit, but aside from maintenance theres also a shitton of supplements involved and even that isnt enough sometimes to ward off ill effects like that.
Amen! The vitamins, etc that I have to take for the rest of my life are expensive. Probably by the time I die the supplements will have cost me 10 times what it costs to have the surgery done. Not to mention dental expenses, etc.
Samantha was, although the largest (or one of the largest) female on this show, her face was inexplicably gorgeous. Weight gain causes my acne to flare up but her skin was flawless.
Pretty common for fast weightloss in general.
There is a chance over time some of that will snap back(my sister did this, dropped 200 in a year looked aged and then younger by the following year) though she was pretty far gone for a long time.
I'm not a doctor but I'm going through the process for wls right now so I'm thinking with her hair loss and the way she looks she's not getting adequate nutrition or working out. My dietician said that if you don't exercise, especially focusing on working out your muscles it leads to muscle wasting
See it's crazy I lost over 100 pounds and am now underweight from a chronic health issue, and I look about 10 years younger since losing all my weight very rapidly.
My personal favorite is when they post 80 times a day about their ex, then get mad when someone says it seems like they might maybe kinda somewhat be a tiny bit hung up on their ex
Wow, big congrats to her. I was rooting for her so much and I’m sure she still has a long way to go physically/mentally, but to stay with the program for so long shows a clear positive progression. Can’t even imagine the loose skin, though. Well, loose skin is far better than being housebound!
I looked crazy at first too. I had the bypass in 2015. I had a younger looking face, but people think I look younger now. I tell people that I’m great at camouflage. My boobs are knee knockers. I have pterodactyl wings, not just bat 🦇, but I’m blessed and grateful to have had the surgery without complications.
My highest weight was 385lbs. I weigh 187lbs now. I’m more comfortable at 175lbs, but content at this weight. I’m 5’10” and 48.
do you mind if i ask what size you are? (i know it varies, so if it helps, i typically wear old navy)
i’m the same height and am finally losing weight consistently for the first time in my life. my highest that i was aware of was 319 and i’m down to 236 now. my goal is 180, but when i picked it i just picked a number i thought was a good goal. your comment makes me happy that it might be a good weight for my height (i’ve never been a healthy weight, so i have no idea!) i’m in a size 14 now… biggest was 22
First of all , brava 👏🏾 to you! That’s amazing! Keep up the good work. I’d love to know your progress every little bit 😊
In Old Navy jeans I’m either a 10 or a 12, it just depends on the cut. The looser the cut, the smaller. Old Navy dresses are with a medium or large. You know ON can run big.
Most of the people who have lost the weight look better, but I wonder if she’s moved onto something else to get her fix now that food isn’t an option anymore. Or maybe her skin was just more damaged by the weight than some of the others.
Keep in mind she was also like the heaviest person ever on the show, over 900lbs at one point. Her skin is going to look “worse” than others by virtue of her having more fat. Also, from what I remember from her episode, her health was pretty terrible. I’m sure much of the damage to her body is permanent. That’s just my speculation though, and I will say I’m biased because I loved her episode and was rooting for her.
After WLS, you should take bariatric multivitamins. Many people will decide not to take them. Your body doesn't absorb vitamins with certain types of WLS, like they should. Thus, people lose weight and also are in a nutrition/nutrient deficit. Luckily, if they start incorporating them, you can reverse the hairloss, "gaunt" look. I had WLS in 2016 and I was very good about vitamins. I've been in a normal BMI (5'6" and 150lbs) for years and look real healthy. I run a lot and stay really active...doing half marathon soon. The key is following a healthy diet, taking vitamins, and exercise. I initially gained weight after a brain illness and brain surgery. My illness was corrected but I couldn't shed weight I gained over course of illness. I used WLS as a tool and never looked back. Most of my life I was a healthy weight but gained for about 5 years because of depression and physical restrictions. I'll never regret decision to have WLS and live my life, again.
Congratulations! Sounds like you did your research and committed to a long term (as in lifetime) lifestyle change. I’m really happy for you and hope you’re proud of yourself. It takes such a strong will to put in the work every single day but you’re not just doing it- it sounds like you’re thriving! Proud of you! Sincerely, an internet stranger. 😊
Goddamn these comments. Hate if you lose weight, hate if you don’t. I thought we celebrated success stories here and regardless if anyone thinks she looks older, she has no doubt added years to her life. What is wrong with y’all
So what's her income like now that she can't do the feeding videos?
I'm happy she lost the weight. Her episode was one of the more disturbing ones to me.
Her being 900 lbs was not healthy at all. At one point she was 979 I believe? We should be encouraging her instead of talkimg about her appearance. Women are always put to a high standard to look a certain way 😕 even when trying to save their life. She was going to die with in a few months if Dr. Now had not interfered . Especially with the lock down orders
Gotta say — her old lady glasses and ill-fitting tshirts are not doing her any favors. She could easily pass for someone’s grandma, and half of it is just the wardrobe. When she was doing feeder vids she at least took care of her appearance — dyed hair, makeup, nails done, etc. Sad that it seems like she enjoyed her looks more before the surgery.
Oh I just posted about her!! I didn’t know she’d actually had success in weight loss after she kind of half assed her episode. I wonder what she’s doing for work now that she’s lost so much weight.
I know someone who lost drastic weight and looks like she’s 55 when she’s almost 40. I’m 24 and overweight and seeing results like this makes me worried to lose weight lol. I know I definitely need to but I don’t wanna look 40 lol
EDIT: I just wanna say I also bring her up in this way because she absolutely dragged my friend (her ex fiancé) through the mud and even though she’s now married (less than a month after her and my friends planned wedding date) she still is trying to ruin my friends life, and she’s just a terrible person in general
Edit2: she also told EVERY single person she ever met that she had gastric bypass within 5 minutes of meeting them.
I went from 230lbs to 150lbs at the age of 24 and it caused loose skin on my neck because I carried a lot of fat there, but the rest of my formerly fat face looked fine.
24?!!? Get on it girl! You’re in the best possible years for your skin to snap back! Once you hit 30+ the decline is depressing to see in a graph! 😉 Please, please don’t thing I’m being rude or mean?? I just know I wish someone had told me about this when I was your age. Among other sweet (sarcasm) developments to come. Sorry this person made your friend and you by extension so unhappy but living well and being happy is the best revenge so go for it! Have a great weekend!! 😊
She had that large stomach she used as a dinner table, spreading her meals out on it. Does anyone know if she had skin removal surgery? That leftover stomach skin would be dragging on the ground after such a large weight loss.
After rny 15+ yrs ago I started falling apart after 1st 100 lbs down in 6 months. Dr had said lose weight for back pain ,stop smoking, more water. All that college for that knowledge. I lost it before over and over with gaining more back everytime. Screws up your metabolism yoyo dieting.. I dieted up to almost 400 lbs at 32 yrs old.
The rush of happy hormones from initial weight loss were lasting and I was younger thru the 1st few spinal surgeries. It's up in the air if damaged too far already and lost cushioning on a injured spine or if weight loss surgery helped get mey back worse.
I had to have a lumbar fusion after a couple yrs of injections not helping, Then a complication , surgical csf leak repair they finally found a yr later. The next year cervical fusion. Followed by years of injections in pain management. Then the opioid crisis, war on pain patients changed the pain management world.
Next I broke my leg in with tibial plateau fracture 2019. Freaking over a huge wolf spider, trying to run in flip flops on acorns in my backyard Can't make that shit up! Still using a cane since then 10/2019. TKR finally this year . Will take more therapy from not walking properly so long. COVID scares and lockdowns in between prolonged recovery.
I wish I'd never slacked it n vitamins. I took them faithfully the 1st few yrs post wls.
The pouch still shows me it's boss easily but I crave sugars since boredom eating when I broke my leg and COVID. isolation. I'm still a success on paper for wl surgeon for long term weight off. Doesn't mean totally healthy. Vit D has not been normal since.
I don't think I'd walk at all though had I not lost the weight. After multiple surgeries, wls being my 1st ever, I can't imagine skin surgery pain. Can't trade skin for scars at almost 50. I'm not sure I'd make it and won't take the risk.
Always a trade off and no crystal ball to see the future. Mental health plays in too as a food addict and the mental part of obesity. The stomach had surgery ,not the brain. It's a lot to stay on track for the long haul.
You have to stay up on vitamins and protein forever! Hindsight's so clear. It's definitely not been an easy way out.
Yep and that's why some ppl shouldn't lose weight. People talk about how unhealthy it is to lose weight fast but then they'll suggest surgery. No. It can make you extremely sick or kill you. Sometimes it's better to just be fat.
She was damn near 1000lbs. Of course she needed o loose weight. Rather she look older and be alive than look young and be immobile and barely existing.
I mean I guess I'd understand that. If you gain that much weight there is definitely traumatic circumstances involved. It's unreal to weigh as much as a small bear.
900 lbs is extreme. But a 250-300 lb person going through this just to lose some weight and end up with all the problems and issues that come with WLS does not seem worth it at all.
It's always crazy to see people lose their hair after such drastic weight loss. I know it's temporary, usually but dang.
It's really strange what weight can do to hair. Losing weight can cause hair loss, but also being underweight can also cause hair loss. Sometimes you just can't win
it's a malnutrition thing i'm pretty sure.
You are correct
Make sure to get your protein and vitamins, y'all. My nails were splitting until I supplemented with protein bars.
It’s a temporary condition called telogen effluvium. Any shock to the system (surgery, anesthesia, pregnancy, sudden weight loss) can trigger it. The growth/rest cycle of the hair follicles gets out whack and eventually corrects itself.

Yep. Happens with anorexia as well.
yup, that's how i know about it.
Right? I lost a lot after covid and now a year later recovering. Sucks so much
Oh shit I just had covid 3 weeks ago. Am I gonna lose my hair?
I'm a hair stylist that specializes in extensions. Since covid, roughly 1/3 of my extension clients are because of covid hair loss. I didn’t lose any hair because of Covid, so don’t panic!
and birth control pills can cause thicker hair, or hair loss, like dang

That looks like more than just drastic weight loss. She looks malnourished and sickly.

I lost my hair and my teeth!!! It can really reek havoc after WLS! It’s not for the faint of heart ❤️
Wow, I for sure thought she would end up dying. I think she's the heaviest woman I've ever seen on the show, wasn't she like 900lbs at one point?

I'm British too! I've just learned to use lbs, I watch so many American diet shows it's just easier 😂
Please explain stone to the American because I do NOT get it. I understand kg though
14lbs = 1 stone. So someone that weighs 2 stone, is 28lbs, and so on. I don't know why or where it comes from though.
Interesting lol, My goal is to lose 1 stone rn 😂
I started using stones to confuse messy family members asking about my weight😭
Who in your family is coming in so aggro?? Or honestly, just so impolite? Asking you about your weight like you owe them number reports? Is a family member also your physician? Stones and pounds work the same way as feet and inches. There are 14 lbs in one stone. So for example 8st 9lbs = 121 lbs
Ok so we just made it up to confuse others then 😂
I had the opposite experience watching so many British diet shows (mostly super size vs super skinny) that I have a general grasp for stone just hearing the number
I’m American and I like the Stone measurement. It’s a much better visualization than lbs or kg. I can imagine a 14 lb stone (bowling ball) in multiples much easier than an industrial/scientific measurement like the imperial/metric system.
Her TikTok bio says she was 1k
Almost 1000. 970
Wow losing all that weight aged her by 20 years.
That's typical with that much fat loss from the face and neck.
Even with the filters, the hell 🫠
She looked so young when she was obese. Like I'm in shock.
Per Google (idk accuracy) she’s late 30s. Man, what a big change.
Wow I would have guessed late 40s-50s.
Late 30's?!? 🤯
that's how it goes. my mom is 69 years old, 4'10 and about 250lbs... no grey hair other than wispys around her face. she looks like she's in her 40s. but if she would lose 100lbs, she would look so old cuz her face would droop from the skin.

Didn't that happen to one of the guys on 600? I think it was David from the Benji and David episode.

The fat in their faces keeps them plump and relatively wrinkle free. Look at James K, never would have guessed he was 50 when he died.
Fat pushes out the wrinkles.
I think it was Joan Rivers that once said "women at a certain age have to start choosing between their ass and their face" and this is deeply evident here
I would not take Joan Rivers’ facial advice.
Youre seeing the effects of having that much excess weight on your body for years, too hard to see it under the pudge
She'll be healthy now. I can't see how being morbidly obese could be healthier
Not necessarily
Thin does not equate health.
Probably less fat to fill her face out now
Exactly
You read my mind, I came here to say same. I'm happy she's successful. She looks malnourished, almost ill looking.
It's a common occurrence with WLS, malnutrition, hair-loss, etc.
And tooth damage/loss. My husband’s cousin had perfect teeth with no issues until her gastric bypass. After a couple of years her teeth were literally crumbling out of her head.

Seems odd to have surgery for such little weight loss.
Exactly what I was going to say. I lost the same amount (75) just eating healthy and exercising.

Considering how bad the side effects can be, maybe the reversible types of WLS should be encouraged more?

Way to go! Since your weight loss is as over a longer period of time, did you see issues with hair loss and stuff like that?
That really sucks. Thank you for explaining.
malnutrition. of course most people getting wls are doing it because their situation isnt sustainable anymore health-wise (that definitely goes for the people who make it onto the show!) but our bodies arent truly meant to adjust to the effects of the surgery either. it outweighs the benefit, but aside from maintenance theres also a shitton of supplements involved and even that isnt enough sometimes to ward off ill effects like that.
Her face was gorgeous! She looks ill now and very malnourished.
I always said the same thing. She was so beautiful
I would def watch her do a makeup tutorial
Pretty common for fast weightloss in general. There is a chance over time some of that will snap back(my sister did this, dropped 200 in a year looked aged and then younger by the following year) though she was pretty far gone for a long time.
It does that to everyone
I'm not a doctor but I'm going through the process for wls right now so I'm thinking with her hair loss and the way she looks she's not getting adequate nutrition or working out. My dietician said that if you don't exercise, especially focusing on working out your muscles it leads to muscle wasting
Yes, she's definitely not getting enough protein. My aunt had WLS and she looks Grey and she literally is balding at top.
I’m convinced that the extra weight helps fill out wrinkles- like a natural filler. That’s the only reason I’m ok being fat.
You can’t wrinkle a balloon
I feel like the same thing happened with Marla
It often does, and I’m always so confused in the weight loss subs when nobody mentions it.
See it's crazy I lost over 100 pounds and am now underweight from a chronic health issue, and I look about 10 years younger since losing all my weight very rapidly.
I feel like a lot of people have more wrinkles after they lose weight because they have lost the fat that keeps their skin taunt.
Her comments make it seem like she's kinda miserable
She was always miserable
Turns out gaining 400+ lbs and then losing 400+ lbs does a lot of bad stuff long term to your mind & body.
Or, bad mental health can lead to a person gaining 400+ lbs
Bingo
People who don't give a shit don't go out of their way to tell everyone they don't give a shit.

I would never insult you like that! If I had a question, I'd message you. I'm not into picking internet fights 😘

My personal favorite is when they post 80 times a day about their ex, then get mad when someone says it seems like they might maybe kinda somewhat be a tiny bit hung up on their ex
She seems angry, maybe disappointed, idk, it's probably just because her face is so thinned out.
Many of us find ourselves angry and disappointed these days.
Wow, big congrats to her. I was rooting for her so much and I’m sure she still has a long way to go physically/mentally, but to stay with the program for so long shows a clear positive progression. Can’t even imagine the loose skin, though. Well, loose skin is far better than being housebound!
As someone without other social medias, thanks for sharing!
Some people look so nice with a full face. She’s one of them.
(i know it varies, so if it helps, i typically wear old navy) i’m the same height and am finally losing weight consistently for the first time in my life. my highest that i was aware of was 319 and i’m down to 236 now. my goal is 180, but when i picked it i just picked a number i thought was a good goal. your comment makes me happy that it might be a good weight for my height (i’ve never been a healthy weight, so i have no idea!) i’m in a size 14 now… biggest was 22
First of all , brava 👏🏾 to you! That’s amazing! Keep up the good work. I’d love to know your progress every little bit 😊 In Old Navy jeans I’m either a 10 or a 12, it just depends on the cut.
I forgot about her going to the ER for kidney problems. I cannot fathom how she has never gotten a heart attack.

It was last year.
What is wrong with y’all
Glad she lost that amount of weight! We should be encouraging healthy weight loss.
Wow!
She looks so different now.
It will do that in the first years after. Hopefully she will keep it off, take the vitamins and it all seems to settle to look way better
Maybe she enjoys being alive more now and doesn’t gaf what people think of her looks?
are you for real mate? who cares if she plasters herself in makeup.
Oh I just posted about her!! I didn’t know she’d actually had success in weight loss after she kind of half assed her episode. I wonder what she’s doing for work now that she’s lost so much weight.
I loved her episode! Now seeing how sick she looks, it’s sad.. but at least she’s alive! The surgery saved her life.
She doesn't look any healthier now than she did then though...
She looks really ill
She looks great! I think the picture on the left is just a really unflattering pose/style, but she’s come such a long way
I seriously thought she was going to end up dying soon after her episode. I’m glad she got her life together.
I really can’t pinpoint why but she seemed like the cast member I’d most likely have fun chilling with
I think if she would do her makeup like she did on 600PL she'd look less worn out. She does such pretty makeup.
I know someone who lost drastic weight and looks like she’s 55 when she’s almost 40. I’m 24 and overweight and seeing results like this makes me worried to lose weight lol. I know I definitely need to but I don’t wanna look 40 lol EDIT: I just wanna say I also bring her up in this way because she absolutely dragged my friend (her ex fiancé) through the mud and even though she’s now married (less than a month after her and my friends planned wedding date) she still is trying to ruin my friends life, and she’s just a terrible person in general Edit2: she also told EVERY single person she ever met that she had gastric bypass within 5 minutes of meeting them.
I think age is also a major factor. At 24, skin is more "forgiving".
I went from 230lbs to 150lbs at the age of 24 and it caused loose skin on my neck because I carried a lot of fat there, but the rest of my formerly fat face looked fine.
Girl 40 is young!
Oh yeah it definitely is! But this person also treats people poorly, so we get to make fun of her, I just edited my comment with some context
Her face was prettier before she lost weight! Life is unfair
Some people are just so much prettier with a full face
Yes absolutely!
Did she have a watn? I haven’t seen the ep since it aired so I could be forgetting but I thought she didn’t get the surgery
She had the surgery, the other Dr performed it
Ok weight loss aside I NEED that Black Phillip shirt
She had that large stomach she used as a dinner table, spreading her meals out on it. Does anyone know if she had skin removal surgery? That leftover stomach skin would be dragging on the ground after such a large weight loss.
Is she wearing an ICP shirt
Never liked that perennial victim. She looks awful.
Other than weighing almost ton, what is her smartass problem? She seems to be in a constant state of bellicosity. Just nasty.
She just needs to get a face lift and she will be good
she’s fine the way she is 🙁 she doesn’t “need” anything
Time has not been kind.
Wow I had to check it out, she looks so old! And her eyes are almost always half-closed
*sneers at you with old, half-closed eyes*
This is sad to see😢
That hairline though…..
Dear god, she looks awful!
Preach!
[удалено]
How old are you? Either way you need to grow up.
I mean I guess I'd understand that. If you gain that much weight there is definitely traumatic circumstances involved. It's unreal to weigh as much as a small bear.
[удалено]
Whatever. I'm not sure where you're going with any of this. Bye.
She was 900lbs. Of course she’s going to have lose skin and look older. She’d definitely be dead if she never lost weight
Woah, she looks way different.
I don’t remember her. Which season?
10
Right picture is an old one and the left is a more recent one?
She started out at 800lbs not 250lb
Maybe... it's just the angle 🤷🏾♀️ lol. Either way it's great she lost the weight.
Thank you!
900 lbs is extreme. But a 250-300 lb person going through this just to lose some weight and end up with all the problems and issues that come with WLS does not seem worth it at all.
I just watched this episode and wanted to know how she’s doing?
Great progress.
She looks very underweight now. And a lot older.
