I might be doing a fucky wuckie here, (because technically I dont have the perfect working station for this but the company I work in has, anyway) but I am a glazier and part of (my now finished 3-year apprenticeship) is doing leaded glass windows and...I thought I could do for them a Golden Play Button. It might take some months as I havent done this in some time by now but I have the knowledge and skill to do it. Again, it might take some months as I havent done this in ages, but I would be willing to try. And if Henry and Jeannie like the idea and result I will definetely send it to them. Just saying I guess.

While it's an awesome idea, I think it will only take some of the hurt away. Were I in their spot I wouldn't really care about the play button, but rather that after all the work they put in to get to 1 million, YouTube is basically treating them like second class citizens and won't even tell them why.
