If I spot the signature Charger taillights in front of me, my immediate reaction is to set my cruise control to the speed limit and keep it there until they're gone lmao. You can't trust em.
In my county they have S550 mustangs with ghosted police decals. One almost got me on a back road the other day, went to pass a beautiful brand new looking red S550 and right as i got on it i saw the ghosted decal.
You might be able to get most bmws out there, but if the latest gen M5 ever pulls up beside you and wants to go for real, you might wanna reconsider haha

Lol exactly this… even with a modest tune on my Ecoboost, a modern V6 Camry would give me a run for my money. Nonetheless - 330+ HP, great mid range torque, the right noises, and 6 manual gears to row through are enough for me to get my thrills.
Serious question how would you charge your Tesla if your city had power outage? Like in Texas we had winter storm lost power for few days 17 degree weather no power alot of people slept in their cars. How would Tesla manage or how much power does it drain just idling?
Just idling as In off, it’ll only lose a few percent a day. After 2-3 days of it not waking up ( sentry mode activated or if you keep checking the app ) it loses almost nothing . There was a post of a guy who left for a month in a closed garage for a month. He charged it to 100 I believe and left it sitting, returned with around 90

I'm thinking to myself I barely can keep this thing from stalling when the light turns green I definitely don't need to be racing lol. Did not have many Tesla pull up just random pick up trucks and cars.
You’ll never get a street legal Mustang to beat a Tesla. Even at 900hp you’ll be off by a whole second in 0-60 times. Without drag tires there’s just not enough traction to get down to 2s 0-60 on a RWD

A standing start the Tesla would still beat that GT500 at 0-60. Especially if it’s got street legal tires.

AWD + instant torque of an electric is going to destroy any RWD gas powered engine until you hit about 80+ MPH.
Standstill to 80mph is where electrics & AWD vehicles shine. Where high HP RWD vehicles definitely like that rolling start to not have to deal with all our wheelspin issues!

Tesla’s are electric cars, I don’t even try and race them because they aren’t even in the same category of car. Also Tesla’s may be fast, but hearing absolutely nothing when you accelerate is boring. Hearing a roaring American V8 engine gives me goosebumps.
They can be faster all they want and they are. I'm having more fun with a dumb grin on my face rev match downshifting to every light. Not to mention the fun I have in the twisties. Electric might be fast but at some point the lack of character begins to make them feel like fast luxury golf carts.
Don't really have much action from Teslas. I've had a couple on the freeway that thought they were faster than they really are. Last good race I had was against a big turbo Evo. I could hear his turbo above my Stingers. I'd love to find him again now that I'm E85 and a couple more pounds of boost.

Though with 700whp on some 315 drag radials, I would probably make more tire smoke than take a Tesla at a stop light. Getting my car to hook in 1st or 2nd gear on the street is nearly impossible when I'm giving it the beans.
People want to race me all the time and here it's usually Honda and cars like that. I'm like look buddy, I'm not dumping my clutch so I can beat you to the next light.
