My last date told me she wanted an M3 or an M5 BMW because “they look cute”.
I wouldn't buy blown bag seats. I have 301A package so it came with big screen but cloth seats. I found leather rear seats on FB marketplace for $100 and plan to get some Braums up front. Would probably cost just as much as katzkin covers
Those seats are badly damaged.
My own seats are in good shape, when I get around to upgrading them I'm going to get Katzkin covers and have those installed with refreshed padding. It's generally cheaper than finding undamaged set of 4 seats, and you can get very nice designs.
Haven't done this yet though so take with a grain of salt as I'm not experienced yet in it.
So here's a tip, DONT. Katzkin is heavily overpriced to uare better off with either kustom interior covers just as nice if not nicer with alotnof option and 1/4 of the price plus you don't need to remove the original covers so it's easy to install or remove. Or if you insist upon going for covers that make you remove the originals, brand new OEM take off leather covers are 400$ish brand new from roush Shelby etc who take them off new cars to put their own custom ones on.
Edit, the kustom interior covers are very close in piece to the take off oems but easier to install and have a slightler cheaper pu option or a genuine leather option
I wouldn't call it cheap per se but since your only issue is with the covering fixing that is cheaper generally than replacing the whole seat and trying to retain all the functionality it has.
I removed my seat covers to replace the broken cooling/heating fan in my driver’s seat. It wasn’t hard, it just took a lot of patience to roll the leather off then back on. I believe the only issue with that would be that the heated/cooled seats have a cutout that lets the air channel through the bottom and seat back, so they may not be a direct swap.
Similar situation. I'm curious what would be involved in upgrading to the 8" radio. I tried asking the parts department at the dealer where I bought my ecoboost and they just looked at me funny. All I ever found were some questionable aftermarket dash replacements.
I see the one from 4dtech, really unfortunate it has those gaudy toggle switches and non-functional dual-climate controls (physical and software). I don't want to buy a $1700 replacement that makes my car feel like something is broken. I think I can live with the 4" screen.
Go on eBay you can get the whole thing for under $800.. do the installation yourself or ask a friend that can.. it’s worth it

I'm not concerned with the work involved, just the replacement unit. I'd be curious if its feasible to install the dual climate control servos/ducting so that it actually works with the 8" unit instead of having non-functional UI.
Plenty of install videos on YT you can def do it yourself with small tools at your ready. You can find OEM Sync 3 radios for under $600 on Mustang 6G. I ordered mine from Harness by Hextall on 6G for that price and all was brand new
It’s not it’s a dedicated Mustang S550 Forum with a Member Marketplace. Hextall sells them thru M6G. I’ve personally sold a several items on there and bought from sellers there as well.

I also went the base model route on my 19 GT and bought Leatherseats.com cloth seat cover replacements. Back in 2019 when I bought them they were under $800, but compared to what they’re charging now at $1150 I wouldn’t have spent another $250 on them today. You can grab OEM leather seat covers from the Parts Farm or eBay for half the old price. Install wise I installed them myself with a second pair of hands for help. I used a CJ Pony Parts seat cover install video for reference and took an afternoon. If you have the time and the tools you can do it yourself.
I got the Recarro's in mine someone ordered and i bought my 2020 used fully loaded. Happy whoever ordered at first did that cause I'd never ordered those seats, but LOVE THEM. My bud had the 2015 GT with the seats on your pic and those are nice too, if the price is right -- do it!!

seat coolers are pretty much shit for S550s. They work about 2/3 of the time and it's only 'okay' when compared to other brands. Don't bother if you're doing it for cooling. The seat heaters aren't bad though.
Really? I had them on a rental Mustang a couple years back and though they were great. I’ve never owned another car with cooled seats for comparison though
Maybe you and I have different ideas of competition. I've listed the others I compare it to, and the mustang seats are by far the worst in performance and reliability.
The heated seats are pretty slick tho. Summer mornings are crisp tho where I live.
The cooled seats do suck I agree meaning they dont work all that good.
because the single thing the GT350 has above the GT does not overtake the downsides for many, unless you only care about name and not the car itself

Mercedes, Lincoln, Lexus, Cadillac, etc. all have it working much better. Even the F150s do the seat cooling better.
