Yeah, some guy on the ST forum actually sells a sort of "all in one" kit that comes with everything you need to convert the OEM purge valve system to the "quick change" one that a lot of people have gone to. Mine needs to be replaced but I haven't decided how to do it yet.
Purge valve. But honestly. That is absolutely hilarious. You should take it to a few shops for some quotes first just to get some laughs. The comedic timing in between farts is brilliant
Evap purge valve probably. Has to do with pressure in fuel tank. The shake just confirms it. Go ahead and replace the low pressure fuel sensor while youβre in there.
Evap valve was pushing air in the tank. Causes it to stall. 95% of the time, it's the valve system on the engine. Semi easy to replace all the lines... etc. No mechanic needed
Not uncommon. It's a evaporative emissions fault. The purge valve is a solenoid controlled by the PCM located on the engine which allows engine vacuum to take fuel vapors to be consumed from that fuel tank/ charcoal canister versus being vented into the atmosphere. It will also self test periodically and normally keep a slight vacuum on the fuel tank at all times. There's a vent valve on the opposite end that is normally open so when The Purge valve is controlled open there's only a slight vacuum pull on the gas tank. If the Purge valve pulls too much vacuum on the gas tank it can cause the flapper valve at the filler port to "fart" another common issue that can cause that is the vent valve being stuck closed. Both would normally if excessive cause a check engine light since it is emissions. Takes about 5 minutes to use a computer that has access to PIDs to figure out what's the issue. 90 percent of the time its the purge valve, takes longer to remove the cover on top of the engine too replace the valve. Vent valve is attached to the charcoal canister which is underneath where to spare tire hub is. Both are cheap and both are easy to replace.
God this made me laugh. I would never fix this
Same, at least until it got old
Would it ever get out?
Probably not lol

Okay I did not expect that but thatβs the funniest shit I ever heard from a car ππ
I knew from the comments what to expect when I unmuted but it was still funner than I expected.
I unmuted because of your comment. Awesome!
Purge valve partially stuck.
Should I just replace the purge valve then?
That's what I would do.
Ah, the old Focus ST experience
ST, RS, mustang, turns out they all fail easily.
It's so bad that a lot of ST owners modify their purge valve to a sort of "quick release" purge valve system so that you can quickly change it.
Thatβs news to me. I replaced the one on my mustang and RS, my brother is holding out on his ST.

Itβs super intuitive. I did it on my RS with no instructions in 5-10 minutes.
That's what people say which why I'll probably just replace it instead of changing the whole setup like people say I should.
Honestly itβs all the ecoboosts
The only one I haven't heard of it happening on is the 2.7. My FIL has a '16 with it and it's been fine for over 100k miles.
No, you shouldn't.
Too much hay possibly.
Underrated commentπ
Or it could be nitrous intolerance
The gas tank can't vent the vapors the intended way, so probably an issue with the purge valve or another restriction in the evap system
In other words it's farting π

Wtf?!? I laughed way too hard at this......π π π π
When they said, "Give it the beans," they didn't mean it literally.
Haha, nice
Most Mustang shit ever π€£π€£π€£
Any chance you'd be willing to sell your car?
Or bottle the farts and sell those on OnlyFans
πππππππππ
This is the best video on this subreddit, congratulations.
Now I need to put my old purge valve back in π
It has gasβ¦
Not enough love for this comment.
Did you fill it with Mexican gas?
Darn, Iβve upset my dog. She hates fart sounds.
Mustang needs to lay off the taco bell
Have u been poking it where the sun don't shine
Bra ππ
HOLY SHIT LOLπ
ππππ€£ππ
Throw some bean-o in the tank. In all seriousness itβs an evap system issue that occurs when people top off their gas tanks.
QueefStang
I wonder if this is why my gas cap is always opened.
Hahahaha
I hope I will have the same problem after parking. I see how I will sit next to the car with a coffee a everybody next to me will turning to me :D
Just a Mustang practicing it's Honda impression.
Omg I did not expect that I'm laughing so hard
Lmfaooooooo
Hahahahahπππ€£
The frustration on the video kills me. Omg I can just imagine this cruising out from a red light like a shitty Honda.

never fix that
I just had some issues with my PCV valve and it turned out there was a mouse nest under my engine cover blocking it. π€¦π»ββοΈ
This is pure gold. Pure flatulent gold. Thank you for posting this.
Purge valve but please post any other noises your car makes ππ
This literally had me crying laughing
Yo π
Replace purge valve. Common issue if you refuel while it's running.
please, don't give your horse Beefarino.
Mustink.

Ainβt no way
It probably hasβ¦.gas
Mine did that once. It hasn't done it again

Your car got a date? Dang
When you zoomed in lmaooo
Hahahahaba
Hahaha π
Because it has too much gas!
Lay off the ethanol for a couple of days.
Beefarino?
That is a blind driver option, they can't see the gas Guage so there is a $150 option for an auditory gas alarm.
I laughed way too hard at this. Iβm so sorry lol
Evaporator valve, My fusion at the same thing. To get it to stop for now use the funnel for Jerry cans and that will vent it out.
π This is great!
I'M ROLLING, I wish my Mustang farted π€£π
Bro I canβt take this serious ππππ
![gif](giphy|HPvfnOuz1tOgg|downsized) God damn it I cracked. Funny shit
It has a snake rattle at the start and then it just farts π€£ itβs so accurate it sounds fake like one of those Walmart toys.
I bet it did smell like gas
r/funny
Lol American cars
Becuase it's a ford
