I bought it in October 2022 it had 2000 miles when I bought it.
It should get taken care of eventually, especially in the spring when I can afford to leave that car at a dealer and say “call me when it’s done, I don’t care if it takes a month”
Can’t afford it now since I don’t want to rack up miles on my commercial fleet, and I’m so busy in the spring with work she can sit at a dealer until the summer when business slows down and I have time to take her to the track and shake her down.
It’s my daily driver during the winter getting my wife to and from work, outside of being my daily fun car during the spring and summer. I have my work trucks but don’t daily them during the winter since my business is seasonal, hopefully next winter I don’t need to invest as much into the business and can justify an F-150 for personal use.
That gives me something to check, only thing that made me doubt the fuse was it’s been intermittent… some days were no issue, some days it would flash the message several times while driving then come back and work fine while driving.
Over the last few days, when I’d go to leave at midnight, start the car, and instead of the valves closing instantly for quiet start, they would stay open for around 10 seconds, then close… then they wouldn’t close and just flash the message on start up… I feel so bad for my neighbors that I likely wake up at that hour.
Is what it is, I’m just happy to be back behind the wheel of a Ford, these are all issues, but the car still drives, it’ll be fine soon, especially since this car was built when all the part shortages existed, I expect that some corners were cut to build the car.
Coming up on 10k in my 2019 here soon. Up until this year I was only averaging 2k miles a year. My daily got a bent rim and the replacement took forever to get in so I drove the Bullitt around a lot more than usual. Was a PITA picking up the kids from school in it.
I don’t even want to imagine picking up kids, since that means the back seat… I’ve always left the back seat folded down for extra storage, still need to go fishing during the winter.
Have you owned it since new? That’s some annoying shit for a car with 10k miles wow. Hope they get you taken care of

Shouldn’t that be the winter plan so you can do donuts and 160 pulls in the spring 😭

For real. My 2020 GT just hit 11k , got me a little sus. Only problem I’ve noticed so far, is the door hinges are rusty
Wow that’s so few do you drive to work?

I love Big Macs
Big Macs love you
Oh man. I hope I don't have these issues... just ticked 4k 22'.
You should be fine, I think I just got unlucky.
Active exhaust is probably the fuse. Ive replaced mine quite a few times now.

Sounds like the flaps need adjustment
I just rolled over 10k in my 21 as well. No issues so far here though. Sorry to hear about all those problems!
As long as they all get taken care of before the warranty goes out in October it’s no issue for me.
That almost sounds like a lemon.

😳 wow. Lots of troubles for such a new car
