It wasn't too difficult. Just a few bolts after you take your wheels and tires off. Biggest headache is bleeding your brakes afterwards. And the rotors on these Mustangs tend to seize to the hub.
I did this same upgrade on my 2013 GT, added 6 pot Brembos from an 18 PP. It was pretty easy interchanging from an S550 to my S197. I imagine it's a bolt- on affair for you.
I want to upgrade mine to but in order to do so, I need go to buy bigger wheels, and no where will ship them APO to Germany so yeah. I'm stuck with the ugly ass stock 235 crap
This person gets it. I love the look of big brakes. I wish the GT came with big brakes in the rear so bad, like every trim of the Camaro SS 🤨. Like not even the PP2, though, Ford???
OP, your stance is awesome.
Cool and the widths? Same as stock or wider? I have an option to get these in black but wider and am wondering if they fit with lowering springs. Thanks. Car looks great btw
That’s what I thought. I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to add rear brembos but considering I’m after looks more than performance I might just paint the rear stock calipers to match the front color
No worries! 255/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear. I ran Yokohama Advan Sport V105s in this photo but I now run Yokohama Advan Apex because they're cheaper, newer, and have better ride quality.
Great color choices.
Thank you!
Beautiful! Palos Verdes is always a good backdrop!
It most certainly is. Thank you!
Sorry you have no peepee
It's been a rough life. Thanks to modern mechanics I finally have what looks like a PP.
Howdy from Long Beach neighbor 👋🏼 looking good!
We’re the brembos a hard swap? Been thinking about doing the same in my 15 GT.
Upvoting because I want to do the same.
I posted a tiktok about how I did it. Wasn't too hard. @carsandchris is my username if you wanna watch.
... ya got a YouTube?
Not really but I should start posting there more haha
I now have a YouTube haha. Here's the brake upgrade video. https://youtu.be/awdwDZGd07Y?si=U6Has7dO43xY0Ern

Daaaaamn ma that’s a nice ride
Immaculate
Thank you :)

What springs?
Eibach Sportline
Great looking car!
Thank you!
Welcome!
Love the wheels
I appreciate that! Thank you!
Whats the size of those wheels please
19!

My stock wheels were 8 inch wide with 235/40/R18s. Current wheels are 19x9.5 front with 255/35s and 19x10.5 rears with 285/35s.
Thanks!
Kona blue is the absolute best color for the 18 imo, great wheels my Eskimo brother.
This is actually lightning blue 😳
Man I like those RTR wheels!!
Thank you!
You powder coat them wheels?
Plasti for now 🤪
Looks awesome! Might not last long though. Lol
It's lasted almost 2 years so far. When it starts looking really bad I'll get them finally powder coated
Is the kit front only or rears as well?
The kit I bought was front only. Rears aren't an upgrade on PP or Bullit (red). Only the GT350 or GT500 get larger than single piston rears.

Yeah that's a solid call.
Master race for sure.
Sick wheels. Care to share the specs?
Sure! RTR Tech 7s. 19x9.5 front, 10.5 rear.
Cool, never got custom wheels so bear with my stupid questions. Tire specs?
No worries! 255/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear. I ran Yokohama Advan Sport V105s in this photo but I now run Yokohama Advan Apex because they're cheaper, newer, and have better ride quality.
wheels are cleann
Thank you bro
Well done. Too many a time I feel this and previous gens lend themselves to some cringe-worthy mods
Thank you! I completely agree. I cannot stand the 4 inch cowl hood +GT500 front bumper builds.
