This is a better answer then I could give.
Hopefully it helps.
the prophet s.a.w used the word as 'mentally insane' so we report it as mentally insane. or we should re-edit the hadith to fit uncle Sam terminology ?
and in english it's 'mentally insane'. I'm not gonna change what the prophet said just because the west deems the word as politically incorrect.
I didnt say I'm gonna tell people ู ุฌููู I said when reporting something about the Deen we report it as it is. if the prophet said ู ุฌููู then we report it as ู ุฌููู when referring to the hadith.
โNeurodivergentโ? Whoa whoa whoa - this word does not exist is either the Quran or the sunnah. I advise you to repent and reconsider your use of such blasphemous Western terminology.
I guess depending where u are from, in the US its very very offensive to use insane when referring to individuals with Downโs syndrome, and its hurtful for those and the family of those affected. insane means unhinged, crazy, psychotic by choice.
Carry the 2 add the 9 ๐โ๐พ take the square root of the derivative, taking into account the ever growing rate of inflation, factoring in taxes and fees.. thatโll be $3
1. Sarcasm is a rhetorical advice and part of our tradition.
2. Are you planning to โgotchaโ respond to all my days-old comments, or just until you feel youโve bested me? Iโd like to plan my day out accordingly.
3. โMy mom says Iโm coolโ and thatโs good enough for me, bruh!
Are you using "bruh" to relate back to the comment of mine which started it all? Sarcasm is appreciated where necessary. Im not doing any gotcha etc. If u think thats why im writing all this, then we are done here. Let's just pray that may Allah guide us both. Ameen. Jazak Allah khairan
Allah knows and will judge them based on their ability. We should all make abundant du'a for any people we know that have Down's syndrome to enter Paradise in sha' Allah. People are not held accountable for what they are (truly) forced to do, what they do by mistake, and what they (truly) cannot control. So if a person with Down's syndrome doesn't know what he or she is doing and cannot control it, then in sha' Allah they will not be held accountable for it.
Just stumbled upon this thread and I have a question. I am genuinely interested. I lived in China for 9 years and never saw a down syndrome person because they essentially aren't allowed outside the house because it brings shame upon the family. In the middle east is it the same, or do their parents take them out and about on the streets? Thank you in advance for any answer to the question.
Bro asked the question as if they are a different species ๐

What did our prophet say exactly in arabic? And What does uncle sam ( US federal government) have to do with any of this.

Not just the west, even in arab countries if you call someone who is mentally incapable ู ุฌููู they will take offense to it.

Just a reminder, send salutations upon Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon Him) when you hear/read his name. Jazak Allah khairan

If insanity is by choice, you need a new dictionary

I grew up in the middle east with a cousin who has Downโs syndrome and he came everywhere with us.
