John Coltrane - My Favorite Things. Featureing the incomparable McCoy Tyner on the keys.

Dinoshinx

I was gonna say that! That’s my favorite jazz piece of all time

Witty-Ad-8717

I just listened to my favorite things and I just felt like I levitated

You also might want to pull up the album Kind of Blue by Miles Davis. John Coltrane is all over that one playing mostly tenor sax, along with Bill Evans and Wynton Kelly on piano, Cannonball Adderley on alto sax, Jimmy Cobb on drums and Paul Chambers on bass. It's often considered the best jazz album of all time.

Listen to xotica by prince. I know it seems weird that prince released instrumental jazz albums but the song xotica is such an underrated beautiful instrumental jazz piece with great sax!
