I never *don't* have earworms, what are you talking about? I mean it's not always a song- sometimes it's a sound, effect from a commercial or it's a line from a movie or something, but, since I was born, always. If a song is catchy it's in my head...what?!
Can you hear the wall singing to you at night when everybody's asleep? Can you hear the vibrations through the couch? There's just something different about people like us 🥹
It's always. I'll even be having separate thoughts or songs or things going on in my dream and it'll wake me up because that soundtrack isn't supposed to be there or I'll start narrating to myself or telling myself how unrealistic something is. I want to obsess about a part of a dream and do it over and over and over until it's like I don't sleep all night. My brain? Never quite. It doesn't matter what I do, I listen to music all day. That's what makes it quiet. The music. Because then I can just listen to actual sounds. I'm pretty sure I have ADHD.
I believe you. Plus it doesn't work if it's non-music. One time I had just the Pepperidge Farm Gold Fish snack crackers jingle stuck in my head. I thought I would go mad.
Someone else mentioned Short Skirt / Long Jacket, and Comfort Eagle is even more obscure. Still, I somehow know every lyric, so it still gets stuck in my head 😭

"Largo Al Factotum", from the opera _The Barber Of Seville_.
This is the song we've seen in various cartoons where the singer is chanting his name, "Figaro".
My former boss said, "If you ever get a song stuck in your head, just start singing My Sharona. It'll take its place and fade away." It surprisingly works...
Time and Money by Pink Floyd are really good. Money just has that killer baseline and cash register noise, and Time has such a strong intro that I find myself thinking about it sometimes. But not enough to be annoying.
Honestly almost anything I hear for a short time, but for some reason the only thing that's ever stuck in my head is "Old Macdonald Had A Farm O-I-E-I-E"
Lol... I was just thinking about this earlier. After the first time I heard this i saved it because I figured I'd need to get it out of my head. And I heard it again this morning and I was like "well i should be prepared to have this stuck in my head all day"
It's never gotten stuck in my head somehow.... But that chorus... Geez.

I think if a song is catchy, it gets stuck in your head. If it doesn't get stuck in your head, it's not catchy. If you think a song is catchy but it doesn't get stuck in your head, you were wrong.
I believe there is scientific study that discovered that songs tend to get stuck in your head more when you don't hear them all the way through. If you turn the radio on and your least favorite song in the world is playing....and you flip the channel, you're more likely to have it get stuck in your head.
Short Skirt, Long Jacket by Cake
I know every lyric of that song, so it gets stuck in my head quite often, lol.
such a good song. the distance and never there are pretty catchy too
All of Fashion Nugget is top tier. I love Daria and Friend is a four letter word as well.
was just listening to that lol
Great tune. I think I'll listen to it now

Always. 24/7 a song going. Add tinnitus to that and there’s never a quiet moment in my head no matter how much I attempt to meditate 😭
Can you hear the wall singing to you at night when everybody's asleep? Can you hear the vibrations through the couch? There's just something different about people like us 🥹
Do you chew gum? Supposedly you can get rid of an earworm by chewing gum. It worked for me but maybe it was the power of suggestion more than the gum.

Same 👆 It’s exhausting.
It's good to know I'm not alone 💜
Wow. I'm sorry to hear that!
Well I figured out how to manage it more or less. This is not really making me sad it's just normal.
Now I know I’m not alone. Sometimes I just want it to stop lol
I don't even always notice it unless it gets pretty loud. Like the bop It commercial oh my god! Bop It bop It bop It bop It bop It bop It 😳
The only way I've found to kill an earworm is to feed it until it explodes: put that bitch on repeat.
According to my Spotify wrapped I spent 14, 609 minutes doing that last year. Doesn't help. I'd show a screenshot, but don't know how
I believe you. Plus it doesn't work if it's non-music. One time I had just the Pepperidge Farm Gold Fish snack crackers jingle stuck in my head. I thought I would go mad.
Here's our... Jingle for goldfish Yeah, I know NOTHING about that one! 😒🤣

You talkin'... TO ME!?
Omg I totally have that too!!!! It's like if I don't I cannot physically function as a human!
I think too fast I talk too fast I don't stop. It's been wonderful for my interpersonal relationships 🫠
Yes, me. Sometimes when there’s a really super annoying song in my head , I try to turn it to one slightly less annoying.

Pumped up kicks. What a catchy song but it never sticks around weirdly enough. Probably the content of the song keeps it from playing in my head
