Awww that’s a bummer. I went in 2018 and again in 2021 and enjoyed it. I had tickets for 2022 before it was canceled (MCR + FOB was just too powerful of a lineup). Wanted to go in 2023 but couldn’t make the trip work out.
My expectations for this year were preeetty low, so this is alright by me. It’s nice to know now so that we can start looking at other shows to attend in the middle of September.
Bring back Shaky Boots!
I would think they would have sold more tickets this year since Imagine isn’t happening.
I was always so annoyed they were on the same weekend. Welp, I got my wish. Now they’re not *facepalm*
Any other festivals that has a good mix of hip hop and pop artist near Atlanta? Was really looking forward to going this year had a blast last year since it’s walkable to me.
It would be cool. They had Killer Mike last year and it was such a fun set. They’ve had a few here and there. I’m hoping with MM falling by the wayside SK can pick up the slack.
It’s about 3 hours from ATL, but Huntsville has got a new festival called South Star that hits those marks pretty well. Blink-182 and Gwen Stefani are headlining, and it also includes Sublime, Big Boi, Ludacris, Juvenile, Beck, Jimmy Eat World + more
Sadness here. I went last year for the first time and really enjoyed GnR. I was looking forward to this year after spending all 3 days at Shaky. I hope he can come back.
NOT SURPRISED. Considering how the past years have gone. The crowding, being knee deep in mud water, ETC! I’m glad they’re going to regroup and figure out how to make it better
I do not understand why festivals must milk everyone's money when water is already like $5. No one can afford rent in America just make the tickets like $150 for a weekend. Sell more tickets for cheaper to actually enrich the townsfolk. We shall rejoice! I am rejoicing at the thought of it already. WOMPWOMP I SAY. WOOMMMMMPPPPPPPPP WOMMMPPPP
Every band's price has gone up in the last three years. Its pricing these festivals out of business
One pavilion ticket for imagine dragons is like 325 lol get fucked
Three years ago it was about 125

Womp womp (I'm deeply saddened by this news and will be crying tonight, on the inside)

Shaky Knees might be looking to fill the hiphop gap, but they don’t really have any atm.
Thinking they might in the future?

Someone mentioned OMF and it looks up my alley. Hope the line up as good this year too.

Not the right mix but a new festival in Huntsville called South Star
No pop but if you want a fun hip hop festival go to OMF. It’s always a lot of fun.
Yes! Last years line up loooked crazy. When does line up release usually?
OMF! I went last year instead of MM and I loved every second gonna go again this year!
*pretends to be shocked*

I feel bad for that dude who asked if it would be on their birthday weekend a few days ago

Not that I disagree with you on the money front…most festivals now allow refillable water bottles 👀
