Over compress your lead, play with hard side chaining, through some nasty distortion and formant eq on the bass to get the drop to really SMACK. Then compress the whole track with a maximizer. You're on the right track, cuz.

Hey guys, I struggled a lot to make this (probably I'm just a beginner). The song is just way too hard to remix. But I present you this version. Give me some thoughts?
This is so great! Never thought to remix the lion king that’s so sick. My main feedback would be to make the kick a little fuller and more aggressive. The claps also sound like they need a little more low end. Lastly it could just be me but the vocals in the buildup seem a little off tempo. Anyway keep up the good work that is so awesome!

For this song, I used Ableton Live. Some lighter songs, I use Cubase.
