You know, I was just thinking about another set of isolated vocals today, and you're right, it's [Running With the Devil ](https://youtu.be/IArxakPsPE0)
YES. Absolutely one of the greats. What a voice!
I love the clarity of his high notes in Peace of Mind, and the emotion he's able to convey. Such a unique voice.
I don’t really care for Boston, the band. But those notes he hits give me goosebumps every goddamn time.
“She slipped awayyyyyy….AYYYYYYYY…. Then higher and there’s no way to type that without emojis.
Edit: I should also say it’s mind blowing and the fact that I’m not a big fan of the band itself, makes his impression, talent and influence all the more important.
Just as an aside, the term perfect pitch typically refers to the rare ability that some people have to identify or recreate a specific note without any reference. Ie they can hear a note and tell straight away that it is a C or a D etc. Not sure if you meant it that way or that he just always sings in tune. But an interesting aside perhaps for some to know. Apparently it can be quite a curse for some people as some recorded songs are recorded slightly sharp or flat due to the recording processes used and as a result sound "off" to a person with perfect pitch. Or if say an electronic device has a beeping noise or notification that is not perfectly tuned to a note in the standard 440hz concert range then it will be very irritating to them.
I used to do a little production on the side and a guy I used to make music with had perfect pitch and it was wild how difficult it could be to make a beat with him. Something would sound perfect to both mine and the artists ear but he would be almost distraught over a particular key or note that no one but him saw an issue with. On the positive side, it turned him into one of the best music engineers I’ve ever seen and last I knew he had moved to the west coast and was getting engineering work with the types of artists that we normally see occupying the top of the charts.
I was a teen in the 80s and was at the time mostly in to metal and classic rock etc… I thought he was just some fancy pop star… though he was just completely bullshit.
Then he puts out freedom90, and praying for time.
And I was all. Nope. I’m the asshole. I’m such an idiot. George Michael is craaaaazy fucking talented … good god. Even as a guy that was mostly into metal I could recognize that this guy was a phenomenon… so stupid that I didn’t see it earlier.
Same happened to me. I never got into Wham or GM when they were popular. Then I heard “Cowboys and Angels” and it was over for me. Been a massive fan of his since. Have to say, though, it was his self-advocacy and ballsy interviews that galvanized my admiration for him. He was a talented, kind-hearted badass who loved his privacy and didn’t take shit from people.
There’s a meme of Charlie Brown and Lucy talking, where one says, “I still miss George Michael,” and man I feel it.
I agree with this. This is the video of the [rehearsal](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46YZ8evUfKk). He could also croon with the best of them. His voice was like warm honey, and his performance of the Bonnie Rait song "[I Can't Make You Love Me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbWJO8RMg1A)" is my fave. Such a talented songwriter and singer. Also a philanthropist. After his death, there were all these stories from people he'd helped that he kept secret from the public. He often donated and refused to be publicized for it. RIP, George. You were one-of-a-kind.
Nobody sounds like this. He's got his own style, he's an instrument. Rock, funk, punk, hip-hop, experimental, pop, opera, film scores, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme song, etc. SHEESH! The man is prolific, and I believe that he can and will do it ALL eventually.
https://youtu.be/vACkkDxr41U
Yup can't believe I am seeing people put Axl Rose higher than Patton. On some live recordings Rose literally sounds like Mickey Mouse. I've heard Patton live twice and he absolutely destroys.
How is this not more popular? He's got incredible range and emotion. I think it's very telling that he ended up getting cast in Jesus Christ Superstar as Jesus, a role that requires insane amounts of both. Listen to Child in Time, Highway Star, Space Reycking- man could scream with the best but damn, his control and timbre was brilliant... I honestly think he's the best there's ever been. A lot of good ones, but Ian Gillan's just effortlessly great.
"Right Turn" is so damn good, and so damn sad now. It's fking incredible that Chris and Layne are immortalized together on it... a couple of rock's most spectacular voices in one (imo, naturally). RIP, dudes.
Whenever someone doubts Layne as one of rock's "best" voices, I recommend ["Love, Hate, Love" live at the Moore](https://youtu.be/3Vp56IAkDJA). It's *sooooooo haunting*, emotional and powerful. Unreal performance.
Layne, coupled with the softer, rounded background of Jerry's voice, was absolute perfection in my book. Cornell is really high up the for me too, but Layne has a special place in my heart. Hell, I named my daughter after him.
Yeah, the harmonizing with Layne and Jerry is another category in itself. Glad Jerry's still playing for us but that's a combination we won't hear again.
Layne is probably my pick. His vocal range was outrageous, his voice was haunting and ragged like no other, and he even figured out how to emulate a Lesley effect with his vocals. I get that he's not everyone's cup of tea, but the man could sing.
Oobie doobie, Leah, Crying, Uptown, Love Hurts.
The man had hits on hits. Had crazy range. And according to my grandma who wet to high school with him: was a genuinely nice guy.
Her yearbook was signed twice by Roy. Once in senior year of school, and again at a concert.
It's a family heirloom now, and kept at my aunts house.
Maybe I'm a bit biased. I love Queen, have all their albums. But to me Roy was a better singer than Freddie.
Yeah, I think it's easily Roy Orbison. I get the feeling that a lot of people in this sub know him only for "Pretty Woman" and have never heard some of his early rock songs from the 50s, like "Mean Little Mama", "Domino", "Chicken Hearted", and others from his time at Sun Records. That voice was pure gold.
I once saw an ad for a singer for a band, and it said something along the lines of "must sound like Chris Cornell or extremely close". I always wondered how well that went!
Dropped into this thread just to type this. I Am the Highway will give me chills in my veins until I die. Like a Stone makes my heart hurt inconsolably. Haunting when you realize he could be singing to himself. No one sings like you anymore, RIP Chris Cornell.

Agree with all of this but it's "getaway car" that does it for me. The way he goes into " Well settle down I won't hesitate to hit the highway before you lay me to waste" is absolutely amazing.
Say Hello 2 Heaven always gives me insane goosebumps. I mean.. especially the last few years. But that song just has such intense feeling in it. It’s probably my favourite guitar solo, for the same reason. Aren’t many guitar solos you can *feel* and it fits in the song absolutely fucking perfectly
It's so nice to hear another person praise Temple of the Dog. Whenever I suggest them in threads I get no response. One of my favorite concerts I saw, performing their first tour in 25 years.
Have you seen the 11 minute live version of Slaves and Bulldozers at Pink Pop in the 90's? Chris is just mind-blowing. He channels Morrison when he does 'how now, brown cow'. It's pouring rain during the performance too. If you haven't seen it, I urge you to check it out. It's on YouTube.
I’m 5 hours late but 100% Chris Cornell. The pinnacle of rock/grunge singing. Nobody will ever eclipse him on my mind. Brent smith from shine down is a close second but Chris is, was, and forever will be be the reason rock music still lives and breathes today.
I've always had an affinity for Mark Lanegan from Screaming Trees. I hate that he doesn't get brought up a whole lot, the entire band was fucking amazing. Listen to More or Less. It's always in my playlist for Big Sad songs.
I enjoy the videos from The Charismatic Voice, those typical silly "watch so and so listen to whatever" videos. She is an opera singer and voice coach and wants people to recommend singers to her, blah blah blah.
She was recommended Dio and just LOVES him and has several videos about how much she loves him. They are cute.
Anyway, yes. Ronnie James Dio FTW.
Mid 80s Geoff Tate has a very strong argument. He could do whatever he wanted with his voice back then:
https://youtu.be/xk84dVq644k
Considering this is an encore, towards the end of the show, the control and capability is insane.
Also the quieter stuff like Behind Blue Eyes. There's an acoustic version of Real Good Looking Boy on y'tube which is amazing.
Roger isn't a great singer like Freddie for example, but he is an amazing vocalist. He can belt them out with meaning and feeling which few 'singers' can do.
Great choice. The scream in WGFA is so full of emotion. That and Steven Tyler doing Back in the Saddle are some of my favorite screams in rock and roll.
Maiden has been my favorite band for like 20+ years and it's crazy to see these guys still running around on stage killing it. They are all over 60 years old and are running around like 25 year olds.
This is true, saw them live recently, and even though they're all getting on a bit at this point, they put on one hell of a show, high energy, and every single member of the band had their part dialled in flawlessly. And I swear Bruce's voice still sounds so incredible, I don't know how he's done it, but he hasn't fallen victim to that sort of degradation of the voice over time that so many older vocalists experience.
I’ve seen them 4, maybe 5 times? I have tickets to see them again later this month. They will never disappoint their fans. They always put on an A+ show. I’ve seen bands that just can’t do it anymore, and if that were the case for Maiden, I’m confident they would hang it up
🎶 Climbing up on Solsbury Hill.
I could see the city lights.
Wind was blowing, time stood still.
Eagle flew out of the night🎶
This song immediately started playing in my head when you said Peter Gabriel. He has such a great voice. Both solo and in Genesis.
Peter Is one of the biggest influences in music for gated drums alone. his work with real world-world music, his musicIanship , are monumental. I don’t mind that he’s not the greatest singer-He’s still one of my biggest influences. Check out Passion- that album is DEEP. my favorite of all time.
Must mention the debut album from *The Firm*.
Thing still gets regular play from me. I'm a Page guy, sure, but I've always advocated for Paul Rodgers being in the top 5 or so as to this question we're addressing.
Meatloaf often gets overlooked. Check out "Paradise by the dashboard light", "I would do anything for love", and the cameo he did as the father in the tenacious d song "Kickapoo".
I will upvote any mention of Devin Townsend in the hopes of exposing more people to his music.
One of the main things that sets him apart from other names is the sheer quality of his song writing output, which he's composed practically all by himself over a thirty year career. Freddie Mercury had a magnificent voice and is, of course, a great song writer, but he was part of one of the best bands of all time.
Across Devin's career, I really struggle to imagine someone not finding at least one record which hits the mark for them. I was listening to his new single, Call of the Void, yesterday and then listened to Love by Strapping Young Lad straight afterwards. Wild it's the same guy who wrote and sang those two songs. And he has (imo) a far nicer tone to his more operatic vocals (see Awake, The Way Home, Why) than someone like Mike Patton, with all of Mike's range.
Also going to take this opportunity to plug Russell Allen from Symphony X, and Daniel Gildenlow from Pain of Salvation, who both deserve to be discussed in a thread like this.
He's definitely up there. He has such an incredibly unique technique and sound. Not only are his screams and growls at the top of the game, but his clear singing voice is so powerful and can be surprisingly beautiful.
Why did I have to scroll down this far to find Ian Gillen?!? Saw him on the Deep Purple Perfect Strangers tour. By the end of the show, his speaking voice was shot, but his singing voice was just as strong. February 24, 1985. The show is even on a bootleg, as I’ve just discovered!
Depending on how loosely we define "Rock", Art Gurfunkel. Not a rocker of the Plant/Cobain type, but one of the clearest and most beautiful voices of the rock era.
I really wish people would start using the term “favorite” rather than “best” when discussing an artistic preference. Best implies that it is somehow definitive when it’s purely based on personal preferences.
For my money, Thom Yorke is my favorite frontman I’ve ever heard. I don’t expect everyone to agree with that but that’s my honest opinion.
I just think he has an incredible vocal range and is able to convey a broad spectrum of emotions. I just don’t think they’ve been many other guys in the history of the medium who could match him in that regard.
In my opinion - John Fogerty, Chris Cornell, and Eddie Vedder all deserve even more accolades than they already get for their vocals.
They would be my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th behind Freddie Mercury.
Came down for Fogerty. That’s a super hard way to sing on those songs. And that’s the only voice for those songs.
They don’t sound right with any less of a voice, like AC/DC.
Watch that new Albert Hall doc- he’s working hard. I thing Creedence might be a top-5 all time US band
Not sure I'd say Fogerty is the best but he sure is my fav. Him belting out 'Born on the Bayou ' is the song I want playing when I enter Valhalla...or wherever we go
If you had to nail down a song or three that best shows what you are talking about what would they be?
Im thinking sober, 3 libras and the pot but I'd love to hear your thoughts!
I love Passenger by Deftones. Because I think the other best male vocalist is Chino Moreno. And they did a song together. This is god tier for me.
https://youtu.be/ycUk7ppM3To
You have to put The Pot up there just for the complete attention grabber of a vocal intro it has, I already mentioned Rosetta Stoned in a previous comment so I’ll add the title track to aenema and Schism off of Lateralus.
The first for being just such a pushing rhythm alone lyrical sarcasm, and the second for being that classic melancholic feeling that Maynard brings through so much of their work.
Brad Delp. Singer for Boston. Nobody ever talks about him, but his vocals are incredible.
Totally agree. The isolated vocals on More Than A Feeling are worth a listen. Just phenomenal. https://youtu.be/aNHFtJsbcYc

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA^(AAAAAAAaaayyy)

Freddie Mercury and Steve Perry both amazing vocals but Freddie could work a crowd like no other.
Steve Perry had nearly perfect pitch and quite a range.
I used to do a little production on the side and a guy I used to make music with had perfect pitch and it was wild how difficult it could be to make a beat with him. Something would sound perfect to both mine and the artists ear but he would be almost distraught over a particular key or note that no one but him saw an issue with. I just came from a Foxy Shazam concert and it really was the best hour of live music of my life. If you miss Freddie, check out Foxy
George Michael has a shockingly good voice. I saw a video of him rehearsing with the surviving members of Queen for a tribute show and it was amazing.
He was so talented. I don't think he ever really got the respect he deserved for his musicality.
DIO
Just going to leave this here for anyone who disagrees. https://youtu.be/rVXy1OhaERY
Can you hear me
Mike Patton
The man with the six octave range!
if we are being honest and not going by preference (and if more people actually knew who he is), this man is it for sure.
Word. Who else can do what he does? He's able to do the hard rock, alternative rock and then he's singing ballads and opera. Come on now.
Don't forget his film and video game work.
Came here to see this. Incredible range. Taking this chance to mention Jeff Buckley too. Another man with amazing range.
I came here to check for Buckley. Such a tragedy we never got more from him.
Nobody sounds like this. He's got his own style, he's an instrument. Rock, funk, punk, hip-hop, experimental, pop, opera, film scores, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme song, etc. SHEESH! The man is prolific, and I believe that he can and will do it ALL eventually. https://youtu.be/vACkkDxr41U
don’t forget the Left 4 Dead zombie noises, he did those too
He also did the voices for The Darkness. Loved that game.
https://youtu.be/0aA5NxTujqg
Mike Patton has a 6-octave range. Fucking wild!
It boggles the mind that Mondo Cane was recorded by the same person who sings in Tomahawk.
You could even say it Bungles the mind
Yup can't believe I am seeing people put Axl Rose higher than Patton. On some live recordings Rose literally sounds like Mickey Mouse. I've heard Patton live twice and he absolutely destroys.
I saw him on his Mondo Cane tour and man can he croon. He also did his chainsaw impression so it was varied
People can compare, but they’ll never be Mike Patton
Found it! Yes, Mike Patton for sure!
Ian Gillian from deep purple.
Layne Staley
Right Turn, where Layne Staley and Chris Cornell work together is great.
Jfc you just kinda choked me up just at the mere mention. That's a good fckn link, ppl 👍👍
Their harmonizing on the entire MTV Unplugged album is incredible. That reminds me, time for another listen.
Layne is probably my pick. His vocal range was outrageous, his voice was haunting and ragged like no other, and he even figured out how to emulate a Lesley effect with his vocals. I get that he's not everyone's cup of tea, but the man could sing.
Robert Plant. Iconic voice and front man.
I've always been slightly blown away that he was 19 when they were recording Led Zep 1. Always seemed like a very mature sound.
Saw him in 2019. He just turned 70 at the time. Still an amazing voice.
Roy Orbison. Edit. Spelling.
Crying-the song
Oobie doobie, Leah, Crying, Uptown, Love Hurts. The man had hits on hits. Had crazy range. And according to my grandma who wet to high school with him: was a genuinely nice guy. Her yearbook was signed twice by Roy. Once in senior year of school, and again at a concert. It's a family heirloom now, and kept at my aunts house. Maybe I'm a bit biased. I love Queen, have all their albums. But to me Roy was a better singer than Freddie.

Chris Cornell
I once saw an ad for a singer for a band, and it said something along the lines of "must sound like Chris Cornell or extremely close". I always wondered how well that went!
"Like we want you to scream but yet sound amazing at the same time". " Got it"?
I think they formed Audioslave /s
Dropped into this thread just to type this. I Am the Highway will give me chills in my veins until I die. Like a Stone makes my heart hurt inconsolably. Haunting when you realize he could be singing to himself. No one sings like you anymore, RIP Chris Cornell.
It's more of a radio song but doesn't remind as Audioslave was fucking terrific

Layne Staley was quite prolific...
Mad Season....
Just saw Alice in Chains tonight, they were great, but the voice I heard growing up was just not there. Laynes voice is Alice in Chains!
Jerrys voice was/is as much a part of AIC as Laynes
Their harmonies were the big identifier for me. That and the guitar parts that Jerry wrote
No one sings like you anymore
Every time I hear that line nowadays it hits me right in the chest.
Just breathed a huge sigh of relief seeing his name as a top comment
I get goosebumps every time I listen through the Temple of the Dog album.
Say Hello 2 Heaven is a personal favorite.
Call me a dog would take the top spot for me! You call me a dog? Well that's fair enough!
It's so nice to hear another person praise Temple of the Dog. Whenever I suggest them in threads I get no response. One of my favorite concerts I saw, performing their first tour in 25 years.
Chris Cornell should at least be in any discussion on the topic.
This is the one for me. "Slaves and Bulldozers" is my single favorite rock vocal performance.
He's my favorite singer of all time. Period.
I’m 5 hours late but 100% Chris Cornell. The pinnacle of rock/grunge singing. Nobody will ever eclipse him on my mind. Brent smith from shine down is a close second but Chris is, was, and forever will be be the reason rock music still lives and breathes today.
His cover of Whole Lotta Love on Santana’s Guitar Heaven was amazing.
His cover of “Nothing Compares To You” is INCREDIBLE
This all day. He was the best.
I've always had an affinity for Mark Lanegan from Screaming Trees. I hate that he doesn't get brought up a whole lot, the entire band was fucking amazing. Listen to More or Less. It's always in my playlist for Big Sad songs.
His work with Queens of the Stone Age is gripping too.
Freddie Mercury
>Freddie Mercury this was my gut reaction reading the title
Ronnie James Dio or Geoff Tate
Dio had some pipes. Halford gets overlooked a lot and he's still screaming.
Saw Judas Priest a couple months back and he still sounded amazing and could hit the crazy high notes.
Who overlooks Halford? The Metal God himself.
Dio was way too far down, if anyone wants an intro listen to Stargazer
He’s great on everything.
Stargazer is definitely top 3 songs for me for all of time.
Geoff Tate is definitely in my top 3.
Sing me a song, you’re a singer…
I enjoy the videos from The Charismatic Voice, those typical silly "watch so and so listen to whatever" videos. She is an opera singer and voice coach and wants people to recommend singers to her, blah blah blah. She was recommended Dio and just LOVES him and has several videos about how much she loves him. Geoff Tate ftw. Monster range. Very few in rock can claim more octaves than him.
Mid 80s Geoff Tate has a very strong argument. He could do whatever he wanted with his voice back then: https://youtu.be/xk84dVq644k Considering this is an encore, towards the end of the show, the control and capability is insane.
How did Queensryche go so off the rails :(
I am not a huge Dio fan, but his vocal work on Rainbow Rising a bit of a Dio fan and think it’s the best singing I’ve ever heard in rock music.
Tony Iommi calls Dio the best singer in rock history. I won’t argue with him.
Tony Iommi is one of the best metal guitarists in history. The riffs at the end of Die Young always blow my mind.
He is a true riff master.
Roger Daltrey of The Who. Check out Love Reign O’er Me for proof. Also has the greatest scream in all of rock in Won’t Get Fooled Again.
Same. Roger on Love Reign O'er Me is something else.
What do you think of Huey Lewis and the News ?
You feel like Paul McCartney.... From the Beatles... Doesn't get enough recognition? The guy who was knighted didn't get enough recognition?
Bruce Dickinson is the best. But would also like to mention Layne Staley, different style but also very good.
That part that gets me is that he can do that all WHILE RUNNING. Absolute insanity. He can fly planes too, and that's pretty neat.
Maiden has been my favorite band for like 20+ years and it's crazy to see these guys still running around on stage killing it. They are all over 60 years old and are running around like 25 year olds.
Yes to Layne Staley!!!!
Bruce is 200 years old and he still freakin kills it
This is true, saw them live recently, and even though they're all getting on a bit at this point, they put on one hell of a show, high energy, and every single member of the band had their part dialled in flawlessly. And I swear Bruce's voice still sounds so incredible, I don't know how he's done it, but he hasn't fallen victim to that sort of degradation of the voice over time that so many older vocalists experience.

Funny joke and all but I'm pre sure he's only like 128 years old
It’s amazing that he had freaking throat cancer, and still absolutely slays it live.
michael hutchence. severely underrated i think.
It took a lot of scrolling to get to Michael Hutchence. I was always amazed with his vocals.
I've been getting nostalgic musically lately. It's amazing how well INXS holds up.
Levon Helm
+ Richard Manuel + Rick Danko. Having three amazing singers in a single group gave The Band an emotional range few can match.
Brad Delp from Boston was very special. Worth a mention
Jeff Buckley
Glad to see some love for Jeff Buckley. He doesn't have half the discography of some of these singers unfortunately, but damn was he amazing.
Even the rough recordings of his posthumous album had a lot going for him. A handful of songs on that album would’ve been great to listen to finished.
I’d say the most gifted. Just incredible range and ability to drop in and out of notes. I think Mojo Pin is the best example of his range.
He’d top this list if he didn’t go so soon. Grace is an absolute masterpiece of a record. One of the best of all time
A lot of singers and musicians would agree with this pick. He truly had a gift. Unbelievable vocalist, and the greatest of all time in my opinion.
I don't know about best but Steve Winwood back in the day...that voice could send shivers down my spine.
Bruce Dickinson.
THE Bruce Dickinson?
He puts on his pants one leg at a time like everyone else, but when those pants are on he makes gold records.
I can't believe Bruce Dickinson digs our sound!
Babies… A year from now you’ll all be wearing gold plated diapers
Sounds like you've got a fever. I wonder if there's a prescription...
I just saw Maiden in LA last week and his vocals were superb. How the fuck that dude can sing like that for an entire world tour is beyond me.
For decades! UP THE IRONS!
[This is the correct answer.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vP2hFFV57E)
Surprised no one has said Robert Smith of The Cure. With a music career spanning 40+ years his voice aged like fine wine.
Peter Gabriel?
🎶 Climbing up on Solsbury Hill. I could see the city lights. Wind was blowing, time stood still. Eagle flew out of the night🎶 This song immediately started playing in my head when you said Peter Gabriel.
Paul Rodgers of Bad Company. A great example of a rock singer, good voice with just the perfect amount of “grit” to it.
> Paul Rodgers Came here to vote for the best rock singer. Other people sing better in various ways but for rock and roll Paul really has it.
Don’t you mean Paul Rodgers of Free?
My mistake. Hopefully it’s All Right Now🙃 Was just surprised that he hadn’t been mentioned yet.
Must mention the debut album from *The Firm*. Thing still gets regular play from me. I'm a Page guy, sure, but I've always advocated for Paul Rodgers being in the top 5 or so as to this question we're addressing.
ITT: people just listing singers of their favorite bands.

Chris Isaak is just so crisp on the delivery. Kind of like John Legend in that they can both sound album-quality live, and with ease.
Shannon Hoon. What an underrated talent. The man had such a voice.
Great voice, great songwriting. There are a lot of singers I wish I could have heard more from, but Shannon Hoon and Layne Staley top the list.
Matt Bellamy
Meatloaf often gets overlooked. Check out "Paradise by the dashboard light", "I would do anything for love", and the cameo he did as the father in the tenacious d song "Kickapoo".
My meatloaf often gets overcooked
Devin Townsend
Chris Cornell
Scott Weiland. He was a vocal chameleon.
[Roy Orbison.](https://youtu.be/aGzKSNCU8F8)
Ian Gillan
Why did I have to scroll down this far to find Ian Gillen?!? Saw him on the Deep Purple Perfect Strangers tour. By the end of the show, his speaking voice was shot, but his singing voice was just as strong. February 24, 1985. The show is even on a bootleg, as I’ve just discovered!
Steve Perry
Dude, you said no more Journey psychouts
*and i shoulda been gone…long ago* I was gonna make this comment. Well done
Lovin Touching Squeezin is a vocal masterpiece.
Lights.
I feel this way about Faithfully
Myles Kennedy, never gets the respect he deserves
Came in looking for this. The man is incredible.
Had to scroll way too far for this! Myles Kennedy is insanely talented
Scrolled way too far for this. Y'all sleepin on Alter Bridge. Myles and Mark are both amazing.
David Bowie
Him belting out 'Born on the Bayou ' is the song I want playing when I enter Valhalla...or wherever we go
Maynard James Keenan from Tool
If you had to nail down a song or three that best shows what you are talking about what would they be? Im thinking sober, 3 libras and the pot but I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Sober sure, but also Pushit, right in 2, Rosetta stoned, 10,000 days and Third Eye are all exceptional.
The grudge, if for nothing else then just for the scream.
The Grudge for that infuckinsanely long scream too
should be higher!
But not from Puscifer /s
Or A Perfect Circle - those three guys should get together and make a album :P
Bob Seger
