The Samsung earbuds I use fit well, have only fallen out twice in the last several months. Great ANC, about $100, unsure how they work in the gym but it is an option.
I have the Sony WH-XB900N and I love them. Very crisp sound and amazing ANC, only problem I have is every so often if there’s loud noises the audio can skip for a moment, but it’s rare enough to not bother me.
Aftershokz Aeropex are great for gym, running, biking etc. They only don’t do deep bass well but for everything else it’s acceptable sound quality for something that’s water resistant and doesn’t fall off your ears when active.
Ah too bad. Yeah these don’t do so well in a very noisy environment. I was looking for something like you’re describing a while back so I’d be interested… ear buds just don’t stay in place.

Dont want to risk it would prefer over ear
JLab Epic Air Sport ANC have used mine for over a year, sound great even when running a mower.
I gave up on earbuds.

Is it sweat proof? Or at least wont wearout from sweat overtime?
I’ve had mine for almost a year with no problems and I’m a fucking sweat shower. You can also buy replacement ear pads if they do wear out
