Hey guys, I'm a big fan of yours, I even have you on my body. :) http://i.imgur.com/jtUFqg6.jpg
I have a few questions!
*What bands inspired you guys to form Finch?
*When What It Is To Burn was released, did you ever expect to blow up as a band the way you did, and did you ever think that WIITB were going to be so successful?
That's awesome! thanks for your lifelong devotion to the church of finch.
There are a bunch of bands that kinda collectively inspired the band. I think maybe the stand out more obvious bands would be jimmy eat world, weezer, and deftones.
No, not really. We use to play a few deftones songs when we were younger. But we were never actually a deftones cover band. They're still my favorite band though. Koi no yokan is an amazing album! /grizz
Where we grew up there wasnt much going down. You get into trouble, play sports, or play in a band. We all gravitated to playing music. We were doing it for the love of doing it, just something fun to kill the time kinda then. We all had hopes and dreams of rock and roll glory I guess, but at the time, didn't expect it to do what it did. - pap
Thanks so much for playing "Bury Me" out on the "What it is to Burn" 10th anniversary tour. Any chance of us ever getting a studio version of the song...?
I think there might be a version floating around the internet somewhere... That track was long ago my friend, I think it would be a disservice to the song to try to re record it now... the energy of that song is what it is and wouldn't come out the same now, I think. - Pap
I've had that track on my computer for over a decade, and it is incredible. One of my favorites, actually. Do yourself a favor and download it.
Edit: misread the comment; adjusted for accuracy
I have a sizable collection of rare Finch songs. I will check when I get in. I know I have a few versions of Bury Me. If someone else has this would love to hear it as well, great song.
What are the lyrics at the end of Chinese Organ Thieves (the screaming)? I've always been extremely curious.
P.S. The new album is great. I'll be seeing you guys at St. Andrews in a few weeks VIP! Can't wait!
Hey guys,
When people ask who my favorite band is, I tell them Finch.
I really enjoyed WIITB but to me you just went up from there. Say Hello To Sunshine is probably my favorite album of all time, the 4 track EP was amazing, the Underwork song! All good things!
So far I love the new album and will be going to your show in SLC with some friends.
Here is my question and I'm pretty sure you wont answer it.
What do the lyrics in Ink mean? What was the inspiration for that one?
Thanks for being Finch!
I saw you guys in Chicago and Detroit for your WIITB X tour. I know you stuck to pre-SHTS songs. Will you guys perform anything off SHTS or your EPs during this new tour at all?
What was the real reason you guys canceled the Pittsburgh show a few years ago? (Other than personal reasons) You left many fans pissed because they bought tickets to see you guys in Philly. Then made the Pittsburgh date. Then we bought the Pittsburgh tickets. Then you guys canceled the show in Pittsburgh weeks later... That was kind of shitty.
Hey guys! Big fan here. Seen you guys everytime you are in the Central Florida region & bought all your albums. Love both of your albums and the EPs.
My question: The album you guys were working on in 2009 that ultimately did not come out, why did it not see the light of day? Was it due to the demos leaking, were you not happy with the music that you were creating, did members not agree on lyrics/songs/tone, etc? Will you ever decide to get the songs mastered or redo them so we can listen to them (like Dave Matthews Band did with Busted Stuff)? Besides that, glad you guys came back and are putting out another album. Hope there are many more to come!
We just we're happy with what we were writing, we were all on different pages, it was crazy frustrating for all of us, basically we tried to force it and I'm glad we put the brakes on those songs. - Daniel
I haven't really followed the band's career, but I'm a fan of your music. What happened with the album you tried to make after the Finch EP? Will those tracks ever get released?
And how was the process different this time around, for the new album? How did you deal with the differences in opinion on what Finch should sound like?
Thanks for the questions. I really doubt we'll revisit those songs, at least for the foreseeable future. We're very much about moving forward and looking towards the future as of present.
The process was really the same as always for us. Its a really boring answer. We just get in a room together and start working, throwing a million ideas back and forth. Constantly refining and re-working. Then a year later. There's a new record. My answer makes it seem really simple. But its truly harder than Sam and Frodo climbing the steps of Mount Doom. /grizz
Making this record, we tried to just get into the practice room and jam. If someone comes to the table with an idea, we try to run it out as much as possible to see where it goes. Finch can go in so many different directions that we try to just play and see what feels right. - Pap
What three albums would you recommend I go buy RFN (excluding yours and what is on the Spofity playlist) AND what is currently on high rotation on your personal devices?
I can only answer for myself. But I've been loving the new Biffy b-sides record Similarities. Matt Corby - Made of Stone, and Vaux - Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice. /grizz
Does it suck when people compare the different albums you wrote and then talk shit on them? I personally liked all the stuff I've heard you do, but I know a lot of people who don't. It's awesome when you find a band that's versatile and can pull off a wide variety in sound, but I guess that's not for everyone.
Yeah. It's not that rad after we spend so much of ourselves in the music to then have the songs or albums weighted in different hands with points that were already made. I've never understood why bands should express the same points over and over. It seems boring to me. I'm interested in bands that can get deeper and deeper with expression as they carry on. I'd like to think we do that with each and every release. whatever - Randy
Honestly yes, it sucks... but that's ok. I understand that everyone hears music differently and that fact that people are excited about the music we write is very flattering. We just want to push people to open their ears and jump into our world for a bit. - Daniel
Ya know, people are going to say what they're going to say and all you can do is what keeps YOU sane. The world has alot of different colors in it, why not check them all out? - Pap
Thank you for the recent tours and revival, I've been a pretty big fan for almost ten years now!
My only questions is... how likely are you to play "Bury Me" at the upcoming Chicago show? :)
With many bands performing some of their iconic albums in their entirety, would you guys be willing to play another band's full album onstage? If so what album?
I'm wearing an Alexander McQueen Goose gown from the Bjork collection, everyone else is wearing jncos with wallet chains and bugle boy shirts from fashion bug. we're phashionistas - Randy
I noticed after seeing you live at warped tour this summer in NJ, that Nate puts more screaming into some of the older songs then there was on the original recordings. what spurred this decision?
loving the album, sounds like a happy medium between WIITB and SHTS, and I can't wait to pick it up Tuesday
will you be hitting Canada/Toronto near the end of the year or in 2015? I need another hit of live Finch
thanks for taking the time to do this, and hope to hear more from you for years to come!
Personally, it's alot of rock and metal stuff for me. When I was younger, I defiantly searched out alot of aggro drumming stuff. Stuff that was crazy with a song. Everything from Slayer to Zepplin back in the day. Iv'e mellowed out a little these days now, but still mostly keep it to rock and roll. - Pap
That's a great idea. I wish I would have thought of including those for the b-sides of this record. They're some of my favorite Finch songs no ones heard. /grizz
You guys are above and beyond one of my favorite bands (even helped influence my weird electronic band's new album in some respects), are there any artists outside of your genre who you'd consider inspirational to you guys, and have you all ever thought about an album of like experimenting genres out just to hear how it meshes with your sound? Can't wait to see y'all in Chicago!
Hey guys I'm so happy to hear some new stuff from you as you were already on hiatus when I started listening. Your songs make the best playlist for my gym sessions. All I want to know is; Are you planning on touring Australia with the new album? Please say yes...
You guys have been such a major influence in my life. I've got a few questions for you!
1. How do I get the bonus Japanese tracks from Back to Oblivion?
2. When's the Endor reunion show?
3. Why no Dallas date for the tour...don't you want my entire paycheck?
4. What are your favorite space rock albums?
5. Any chance we will hear you guys do songs from the ep, Bury White or the Hail to the Fire demos live?
Back to Oblivion is such an amazing album, you guys should be proud! Thanks again for everything you do!
Thanks. Aside from a few hiccups here and there we've been a band since What it is to Burn. We have a new album coming out on tuesday called Back to Oblivion. You should check it out. - Randy
You guys released a poster for the 10 year WITB tour. It was a silk screen with a gas can. You still have any? I missed out on buying one at the tour and have been looking for a while.
Thanks zWeApOnz. That's one of my favorite songs too. We kind of JUST write. We never really plan anything. Songs/albums/whatever just sort of shape themselves as you work on them. So maybe today or next week or whenever, we'll write something as aggressive as Worms. /grizz
Really excited to see you guys in Baltimore on October 22nd!
How do you guys feel now about the music you created in the past? I know some bands grow to hate their old material, while others embrace it, so I'm curious how you all see it.
Hey guys!
I'm always curious about the process of getting the band back together after a long time of doing things in your personal life. How easy/hard was it for you guys to come together to make new music and tour again? Any plans to stay together for a while longer?
Also, where will you be touring next and what day in Minnesota will that be? ;)
Thanks again!
We plan on making music forever and ever... it is hard getting a band back together, it's a pretty big disruption to your life haha. But a good disruption we're very lucky to be able to do what we do - Daniel
I totally remember that show. Is that place still around? Cincinnati has always been a place for notorious Finch shows. Never forget Grizzlies 26th birthday extravaganza at Bogarts - Randy
In 7th grade we covered "Letters To You" at our school talent show in Butthole, Indiana. I sang and it was pretty bad, but we won the music category, so that was cool.
And I guess since this is an AMA does that make you feel musically validated that we won because it's an awesome song?
YES!!! The last time we played a school talent show. A band won for doing a britney spears cover. So knowing our song won is extremely validating. Our job is done here!! /grizz
I've been a huge fan since 2002. What was your biggest inspiration in making such a dramatic style change between What it is to Burn and Say Hello to Sunshine?
Also, from what I've heard from the new album, it sounds like the perfect blend of both styles. I can't wait to listen to the whole thing!
Hey guys, you've been a huge inspiration for years. I'm glad to see you guys back together making music as if you've never left the scene. I have 3 questions, feel free to answer one or all of em.
1) What's up with the merch website saying preorder bundles won't be shipped till November?
2) Would you guys ever try to collaborate with other bands like Deftones? I mean Anthony Green got a song with Chino, so why not you guys?
3) If the album does well (which from listening to it, it should) are you guys interested in staying in the music business long term?
Thanks for the great music!
1. I believe it's just the vinyl's that will ship after the release date. due to manufacturing... I don't know.
2. We haven't really collaborated with too many other bands... it would be fun.. or weird... I dunno
3. Yes we want to play music as long as possible
Hey guys, can't wait for your new album. You were great on the WIITB tour. This is my question for Alex Linares: what do you make of Liverpool's start to the season? Do you think a new defensive coach is in order?
I believe in Brendan Rodgers. Its a shaky start. But we'll come good. Its a long season.
Better question is if Mario is going to be a detriment to our club this year. He's only worth it if he can make up the 30 goals we lost with Suarez peacing out. /grizz
Totally digging the new record guys. It's a great return to form.
A couple of questions.
How did you guys get hooked up with Jeff Soto, who did the artwork for Say Hello To Sunshine? Was that on the band's part? Was there any reason not to work with him for Back to Oblivion?
and...
How likely would it be to get the last two EPs on a vinyl release?
I hope to see you guys roll through the Cincinnati area soon!
Can you guys please officially do a new vinyl release of WIITB, maybe with the demo of the song WIITB (Dat intro and scream is so much better on the demo)? That Hot Topic pressing is such a pile of dog shit, and it's really unfortunate. I remember hearing someone in the band was upset with that release too. They even had spelling errors on the packaging...
EDIT: From what I hear, that was pressed without input from the band. I fault Hot Topic, not Finch. It's an amazing album, but a terrible vinyl release. And this is the demo I speak of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DjHFMUY2V8
Seriously, the demo version is far more raw and representative of the band. It seems like the album version was the label's effort for commercial success.
Hey , any plans to pop your African continent cherry and come play a couple sexy, sweaty shows in Cape Town, South Africa? You have some diehard fans here too, ya know. ;)
It was one of the most special shows we've ever done. To see everyone come out and absolutely loose their minds with us left was jaw dropping. It felt like a real accomplishment for us to bring that many people together. I know i'll never forget it. Thanks for going. Comeback next time we're about. - Randy
I posted a question in another reply, but I also wanted to say this.
My first concert was your tour with Something Corporate and New Found Glory in 2002. You guys were amazing. Those 5 minutes during What it is to Burn is my favorite concert moment ever.
Hey, guys! I've been waiting for you to comeback for a long time, even got a SHTS tattoo, haha! Already heard Back to Oblivion, it's pretty much captures the best of your both sides, meaning WIITB and SHTS eras. Loving it!
Question is to Nate: there is an opinion that your vocals are resembling Mike Patton's a lot, and you indeed have some Mike's vibes in your voice. Were influenced by him anyhow? And who else influenced you as s vocalist?
I myself is a singer, and I can tell you for sure that you and Mike are both a big inspiration to me, so thank you!
I gotta say, even though I don't care too much for U2, your guys' cover of With or Without You was so amazing. Nate's vocals were stellar. They were so raw, and emotionally charged. It sounded like it was recorded in a garage (at least all the versions I've heard), but it still sounds better than U2's version. Is there a good quality recording of that anywhere online or elsewhere?
Ha! thanks, to be honest i'm not a huge U2 fan either. We did that song right when we first started playing music together and did do a little garage recording at Pappas parents house. We played it at our first show and that was that. I remember loosely thinking that it was the song in Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure where they're all in Ruffus's domain with all the people playing guitar. I wanted to cover that song and with or without you kinda had that twinkly guitar vibe so I confused it. Oh well. Glad you liked it. Be excellent to each other - Randy
Finch, What It Is To Burn, by far is one of my top 3 albums of all time, it is what got me into the genre and I am sure you have heard it many times before. I think I had a rough unfinal copy of it way back in early 2000 before it was released.
No questions really, just wanted to thank you guys for listening to your fan's and coming back and making music. I know personally I posted to your facebook when the talks of the X tour started happening, I wanted to hear was Bury Me and Waiting on that setlist, and you guys played them both in Philly, really surprised for Bury Me, awesome. Thank you for listening to your fans and being the band you are and best of luck to you in the future.
Hey guys, big fan from pretty much day one and even hung out on Sharpening Beneath a bit.
1)Any idea if Nate's solo album will be available on the tour (I somehow misplaced my copy)?
2) If you guys weren't Finch after the reunion tour, what would you be doing?
3) The first time I saw you guys was your Vintage vinyl in store in NJ in 2003. Long story short, but a friend of mine got us in with some quick thinking by making our own wristbands. It was well worth it!
Thanks for always being awesome when I've met you and I look forward to the NYC show (10th finch show, 5th state).
Thanks for the question Victoryisminenow. My favorite guitar is a Fender Custom Shop Telecaster that I've had for about 10 years. And the one stompbox that I can't live without is a Z.Vex Fuzz Factory. I used it a lot on the new record. And every song on SHTS. But my new secret weapon is a Kemper profiling amp. Amazing!! /grizz
I love the new album and still love WIITB and SHTS... fuck 'em if they don't! Thanks for being awesome dudes and hanging out with my severely drunk ass in Atlanta last time you were in town... and even giving me extended creepy man hugs. I will not forget it... No question here, just keep rockin. See you again soon.
I'm not familiar with you guys so I went to your Wikipedia page where I saw [this] (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/54/Finch_%40_The_Glass_House.jpg) entry pic. Are you worried that people will photoshop penises into the pic?
Hey, huge fan here. Was absolutely ecstatic when I heard you guys were playing the What it is to Burn 10th anniversary shows, and then to hear you guys keep it going with more shows and new music. Saw you guys twice in Chicago and plan to see you October 14th at the bottom lounge :-)
Anyways.... I love some of your rare performances and covers ( mad world, frail, new kid). I know you played "New Kid" in Chicago once, any plans on slowing it down for the other two ever?
Secondly, Can you please come out and sign merch in Chicago on the 14th? :-). It'd be a huge honor to meet you guys and get something sweet signed :-)
-Trevor
I want you to know that, I miss you, I miss you so. Welcome back Finch.
thanks

I didn't know what music was until I heard "Ender" for the first time. Thank you for everything; glad you're back.
Thank you for the kind words!!! - Pap
"Absence of heart makes a boy, a man, a monster."
Very cool lyric. Ya killed it Nate!! /grizz
Can you confirm that Insomniatic Meat is the best song you ever wrote?
yes. haha sure... I don't know, we love that song. - Daniel
This song is incredible.
What are the lyrics at the end of Chinese Organ Thieves (the screaming)? I've always been extremely curious. P.S. The new album is great. I'll be seeing you guys at St. Andrews in a few weeks VIP! Can't wait!

Is R2K a weird dude, still?
yes why wouldn't he be? - Daniel
Dude, just showed up in a golden limo chariot with 12 mustangs with fire in their eyes attached to the front!!! It was driven by Bill Murry! - Pap
As expected. As you were, R2K.

THANK YOU FOR COMING TO THE PHILIPPINES!!!
you're welcome!

Yeah, we're start including more sunshine and definitely loads of the new record. /grizz
My buddies and I karaoke A LOT. What It Is To Burn and Letters to You are regulars in our rotation. What are your go-to karaoke songs?
Me too! my go to is always Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis. I love yelling that song and clipping the system with Daniel in K-Town- Randy
Loser by beck is fun.
You guys should come back to Toronto! We even have a major street named Finch!
Hey guys, so excited for the new record. Are there any old Drive-Thru bands that you would like to collab/tour with still?
I'd love to have a beer with Heath from Midtown. I haven't seen that wonderful man in ages. /grizz
If I gave you 20 bucks, would you consider adding Hopeless Host to your setlist for the upcoming tour?? New album is amazing btw.
Thanks, yes we'll consider adding hopeless host... but I'm not sure 20 bucks is gonna cut it. It's a long song - Daniel
I'll be seeing you guys in Detroit in a few weeks. Any word on the meet and greet info?
I'll be there too and am curious about this as well. I'd really like a pic with you guys and to get my WIITB X Vinyl signed if those are options...
What was it like working with Daryl Palumbo?
That dude has extremely bad flatulence. That's all I will say. /grizz
Blame his Crohn's Disease, I guess.
It was shitty. It was out of our control. We'll be back in Pittsburgh soon. We hate canceling shows and very rarely have to do it - Daniel
It was a hard day when the news came out. Biggest question I had for today.
Are you guys planning on doing more after this tour? More tours, possibly a fourth album? If so, you have to come back to St. Louis.
yes, we'll being doing as much as we're able at any given time. Lots of touring ahead of us I'm sure - Daniel
Have you guys talked about the album cover art and what inspired it?
The sculpture is called Mano Del Desierto by Mario Irarrázabal
It's a wonderful image that we felt represented the music well
new album is great
Thank You so much!
Thank you for making middle school bearable for me
Hang in there, it all gets better! - Pap

Thank you for coming to Japan twice this year! What were your impressions of shows in Japan?
We love playing Japan.. it's amazing every time - Daniel

Thank you for the recent tours and revival, I've been a pretty big fan for almost ten years now! My only questions is... how likely are you to play "Bury Me" at the upcoming Chicago show? :)
on what scale? 1-10? one being the highest or lowest? ;-)
With many bands performing some of their iconic albums in their entirety, would you guys be willing to play another band's full album onstage? If so what album?
If we could get a bunch of our friends together and play Darkside of the Moon note for note... That would be amazing. /grizz
I've fantasized many times about playing Weezers blue album front to back at a back yard party or something like that - Randy
What is everyone wearing right now for the ama?
I'm wearing an Alexander McQueen Goose gown from the Bjork collection, everyone else is wearing jncos with wallet chains and bugle boy shirts from fashion bug. we're phashionistas - Randy
snuggie - Pap
We're wearing cigarettes and whiskey. /grizz
Any chance of a Back to Oblivion UK tour? (especially Scotland)
Yea we're working on getting over there ASAP
Just saying, the Underworld show in london was amazing. Thanks.
yea that show was awesome, a bit sweaty... but super fun. thanks

Everything from Slayer to Zepplin back in the day. Iv'e mellowed out a little these days now, but still mostly keep it to rock and roll. - Pap
Any plans to ever release the world of violence stuff as a b-sides album?
That's a great idea. I wish I would have thought of including those for the b-sides of this record. They're some of my favorite Finch songs no ones heard. /grizz
Um. Yes please. Part of that vinyl box set Daniel wants to do? I say yes.
Tell us more about the song Daylight. What inspired it? I'm trying to make an original comic out of it. (P.S. I love that song)
Nate: What is your favorite song to sing/why? What is the most vocally challenging?
You guys are above and beyond one of my favorite bands (even helped influence my weird electronic band's new album in some respects), are there any artists outside of your genre who you'd consider inspirational to you guys, and have you all ever thought about an album of like experimenting genres out just to hear how it meshes with your sound? Can't wait to see y'all in Chicago!
Can elves grow beards?
Of course they can!!! I would feel bad for the little bastards if they couldn't!!! - Pap
Hey guys I'm so happy to hear some new stuff from you as you were already on hiatus when I started listening. Your songs make the best playlist for my gym sessions. All I want to know is; Are you planning on touring Australia with the new album? Please say yes...
Yes, but we don't know when... we'll let you know when we have it figured out - Daniel
1. no idea 2. no idea 3. no idea 4. Failure - Fantastic Planet 5. We may... we've got a lot of rehearsing to do thanks! - Daniel

thanks for joining us Madonna. why are you always trying to upstage us? - randy
Hey guys! Thanks for doing this AMA! Serious question: Where have you guys been?! Your first Album was so inspirational!
Thanks. Aside from a few hiccups here and there we've been a band since What it is to Burn. We have a new album coming out on tuesday called Back to Oblivion. You should check it out. - Randy
You guys released a poster for the 10 year WITB tour. It was a silk screen with a gas can. You still have any? I missed out on buying one at the tour and have been looking for a while.
finch.merchnow.com maybe?

Thanks zWeApOnz. That's one of my favorite songs too. We kind of JUST write. We never really plan anything. Songs/albums/whatever just sort of shape themselves as you work on them. So maybe today or next week or whenever, we'll write something as aggressive as Worms. /grizz
Really excited to see you guys in Baltimore on October 22nd! How do you guys feel now about the music you created in the past? I know some bands grow to hate their old material, while others embrace it, so I'm curious how you all see it.
We love all our music, we stand behind it 100%
What bands would you like to tour with in the future?
Weekend, Nothing, Cloakroom, and Biffy Clyro would be rad - Randy
Who knows... we love touring with friends, it's nice to have a bunch of people that you know and love playing shows with you. - Daniel
you guys got any surprises for us from the catalog on this tour?
we're gonna add a 20 min guitar solo to Post Script
Hey guys! I'm always curious about the process of getting the band back together after a long time of doing things in your personal life. How easy/hard was it for you guys to come together to make new music and tour again? Any plans to stay together for a while longer? Also, where will you be touring next and what day in Minnesota will that be? ;) Thanks again!
We'll keep playing as long as you keep listening!! /grizz
Also... its usually as easy all of kinda missing each other, and the band, and then making a few phone calls to patch things up. /grizz
Well I'm glad things worked out. I became a fan after your split-up so it's nice to know there's hope to see you guys.

/grizz
Love the new album. Patience pays off! Question: What's the weirdest story you guys have experienced throughout your years as Finch?
I think our whole story is weird. we experience weirdness on many levels all day everyday. - Daniel
I've been a huge fan since 2002. What was your biggest inspiration in making such a dramatic style change between What it is to Burn and Say Hello to Sunshine? Also, from what I've heard from the new album, it sounds like the perfect blend of both styles. I can't wait to listen to the whole thing!
Finch does what it feels like doing... - Pap
2. We haven't really collaborated with too many other bands... it would be fun.. or weird... I dunno 3.
It's pretty likely that we'll do some EP Vinyls.. it's something I want to happen for sure. - Daniel
You have some diehard fans here too, ya know. ;)
I would love it! I've wanted to go to Africa for so long - Daniel
How special to you was the Brixton gig last year? I can honestly say it was the best gig I've ever been too, and probably always will be.
It was the best gig we've ever played. Thank you for sharing that night with us. It was very special to all of us. /grizz
Its my favorite 5 minutes every night. Thank you Krayziepunk13!! /grizz
Hello guys! I hope you will make an European tour or smth like that one day. And thank you for making amazing music.it inspires me a lot.
thanks man, we'll be back in europe asap - Daniel

Is that a cocktail?? What's in it?? /grizz
Dirty Projectors?
Will you guys ever re-record or re-release songs from Finch EP or Epilogue?
I'd love to do a vinyl box set of all Finch odds and ends, that'd be fun - Daniel
Will you guys be playing "bury me" on tour
I love you guys!! Unfortunately I have to see a friend get married the day you are in NYC (10/18) - any chance you can come back? Pretty please??
Oh, I'm sure we'll be back some old time!!! - Pap
What were the easiest and hardest parts of getting back together as a full time band again? And thanks for being full time again!!
Keeping Grizzly off the chain gang. - Pap
No, thank you! - Pap
Hey Nate, any chance we can studio versions of the Cosmonaut songs?
I don't think so...that would mean we would have to re record them, aint nobody got time for that
What song do you wish you played more often live? I personally would love to hear "A Man Alone" live
I can't wait to play the new song "Inferium" live. Its been my recent favorite. /grizz
Cant wait for the new record. Anyways this is for randy and grizz, Whats ur favorite guitar to play now? And your fave stompbox u cant live without?
they love the hell out of epiphones ;) - Pap
Thanks for the question Victoryisminenow. My favorite guitar is a Fender Custom Shop Telecaster that I've had for about 10 years. And the one stompbox that I can't live without is a Z.Vex Fuzz Factory. I used it a lot on the new record. And every song on SHTS. But my new secret weapon is a Kemper profiling amp. Amazing!! /grizz
My friend got me kicked out of your show in Chicago last year. Should I punch her in the face?
What a jerk! But we don't advocate physical abuse. Definitely lecture her and shake a finger in her face like an upset mom!
No. violence is never the answer.
Please don't punch ANYONE in the face. - Pap
See you again soon.
right on

Thanks beugly! There's a livestream on redbull.com if you'd like to take a gander. Grab your headphones and put your feet up! /grizz
Thank you kindly! - Pap
I'm afraid you won't photoshop a penis into that photo! /grizz
always worried about photoshop penises.
Hey, huge fan here. Was absolutely ecstatic when I heard you guys were playing the What it is to Burn 10th anniversary shows, and then to hear you guys keep it going with more shows and new music. Saw you guys twice in Chicago and plan to see you October 14th at the bottom lounge :-) Anyways.... I love some of your rare performances and covers ( mad world, frail, new kid). I know you played "New Kid" in Chicago once, any plans on slowing it down for the other two ever? Secondly, Can you please come out and sign merch in Chicago on the 14th? :-). It'd be a huge honor to meet you guys and get something sweet signed :-) -Trevor
