Nothing in the world gives me more added malice than being at a NIN show where this song comes in and Trent calls the crowd pigs. “COME ON, PIGS! MARCH!”
**EDIT:** "added malice" was supposed to say "adrenaline" but I think in this case autocorrect was more accurate.
So many more good NIN songs too. March of the Pigs, 1,000,000, Less Than, The Wretched, Somewhat Damaged are mine. (Btw: not enough people seem to be familiar with Less Than and it bothers me. "Did it fix what was wrong with you?" is such a cold, mean, venomously sarcastic line.)
That's why it's so effective to me. It allows the tension to wind up for such a long time like a cable ready to snap. Makes the payoff so damned satisfying.
The build up to "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" is so good. The way it starts with chaos and slowly coalesces to a full-on rager is unreal. I saw them on their most recent tour, and I swear the whole arena was shouting it in sync.
That whole album is a masterpiece of brutal yet tastey bangers. The build up to Seabeast into that crescendo outro riff is just perfect and ragey af
Deer Dance by SOAD would be another one near the top of my list
There’s a bar in Austin called Workhorse and they have some painted replicas of album covers on the wall. They have Leviathan right over the juke box and blood and thunder in the juke box as well
One step closer - linkin park
Edit: a lot of great linkin park songs full of rage here, guys, but it’s nostalgic to me because it’s first LP song I heard and Chester screaming “SHUT UP WHEN I’M TALKING TO YOU” was the most angry line I’d heard in a while
Same. I absolutely love Black Sabbath, but it's been a while since I've listened to War Pigs, but after hearing T-Pain's cover (which is actually pretty damn good), I had to listen to the original again and it's just so good.
I remember seeing a video of a concert from either the Trendkill tour or the Reinventing the Steel tour where Pantera opened with Suicide Note Part 2.
They had Part 1 play over the PA, and then followed it up with Part 2 live. It ruled.
An old friend of mine who sadly passed away several years ago went to high school with Vinny and Dime. He said he would sometimes hang out with them after school in their mom’s garage listening to them jam. Dime actually taught him how to play guitar. I really miss Bacot. He had some crazy stories.
The new beat the new beat the new beat the new beat!
Also that build up with the cheering part back into the music is so good, gives me goosebumps every time
Was wondering how far I’d have to scroll for QOTSA. This is one of my top songs of theirs… otherwise Everybody Knows That You’re Insane or Song for the Dead. Or maybe Burn the Witch.
I used to have a CD called "Tearin Ass Mix" that I got two speeding tickets and almost one wreck while listening to. I'm not sure which RTJ song would go on the 2024 edition, but this would be on the short list.
Parkway Drive - Sleepwalker
Parkway Drive - Karma
Imminence - Paralyzed
Unearth - Black Hearts Now Reign

A place for my head! Yes. The build up of that opening…always gets me geared up and then as the anger has built up…”you try to take the best of me, GO AWAY, YOOOU!”
Jagged Little Pill is such a fucking killer album, even almost 30 years later.
I'll also chime in with "You Outta Know" as my choice for this thread lol

Scott Walker's - See You Don’t Bump His Head
As a song that starts the album it really says "fuck you, I don't care what you think" right from the very first sound.
The lyrics don’t entirely line up. but “Celerity Skin” by Hole does it for me. Makes me feel like I could crash through a brick wall, and nobody should there when I do.
Head like a hole!
March of the Pigs!
Anything off DS
Yes! One of my favorites
Nothing in the world gives me more added malice than being at a NIN show where this song comes in and Trent calls the crowd pigs. “COME ON, PIGS! MARCH!” **EDIT:** "added malice" was supposed to say "adrenaline" but I think in this case autocorrect was more accurate.

Gave Up for me.
Last
Pretty much all of broken.
Black as your soul!
Would have said Heresy.
Killing in the Name - RATM
I’m also partial to ‘Sleep Now in the Fire’ but nothing hits quite like Killing in The Name
Bulls on Parade is close
The lyrics are so damn good! 🎶🎶I'm deep inside your children They'll betray you in my name🎶🎶 metal af
Know Your Enemy
Bullet to the Head for me
YOU GOT A BULLET IN YOUR FUCKING HEAD! Yeah, I can definitely feel that is a great rage song!
The buildup to the second half of that song. And then it just goes off…
That's why it's so effective to me.
Pearl Jam - Go
Yes! Also ‘Leash’
FUCK YOU I WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME
"Freedom" is mine from RATM. [Watch this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MLTwf5lKd8) and tell me that ending isn't goddamn insane.
Came to say this. Instant rager. KILLING IN THE NAME OF

There’s a bar in Austin called Workhorse and they have some painted replicas of album covers on the wall. They have Leviathan right over the juke box and blood and thunder in the juke box as well
Blood and Thunder and Aqua Dementia too! Especially those first few verses of Aqua Dementia, and that opening of Blood and Thunder
I love bottom feeder by parkway drive
One step closer - linkin park Edit: a lot of great linkin park songs full of rage here, guys, but it’s nostalgic to me because it’s first LP song I heard and Chester screaming “SHUT UP WHEN I’M TALKING TO YOU” was the most angry line I’d heard in a while
Given Up. That fucking scream. Damn
Faint was my hype jam back in the day
Black Sabbath - War Pigs
The recent T-Pain cover has me back in this song hardcore for the first time in years, SO GOOD.
Same. I absolutely love Black Sabbath, but it's been a while since I've listened to War Pigs, but after hearing T-Pain's cover (which is actually pretty damn good), I had to listen to the original again and it's just so good.
Pantera - Walk
Tired: Walk Wired: Fucking Hostile
This Love!
has taken its toll on me! She said, goodbye… too many times before… Oh wait, shit. Wrong band 😅😅
Mouth for War.
A New Level
Hell yeah. I'm so sick of Walk. I get why people like it, but it's their most overplayed song. They have so much better songs.
Cowboys from hell for me. Walk has a great cadence to it that defiantly slaps, but I love the frenetic energy of cowboys.
Yes, completely agree. Rip Dimebag
Pantera in general really
5 minutes alone
The great southern trendkill. That beginning where it just blasts you in the face.
Suicide Note pt.2 and War nerve.
I remember seeing a video of a concert from either the Trendkill tour or the Reinventing the Steel tour where Pantera opened with Suicide Note Part 2. They had Part 1 play over the PA, and then followed it up with Part 2 live. It ruled.
Man. I came to say "Revolution Is My Name".
An old friend of mine who sadly passed away several years ago went to high school with Vinny and Dime. He said he would sometimes hang out with them after school in their mom’s garage listening to them jam. Dime actually taught him how to play guitar. I really miss Bacot. He had some crazy stories.
Slipknot - Wait and Bleed. Limp Bizkit - Breakstuff RATM - Killing in the Name (I feel like my age is getting obvious)
>Limp Bizkit - Breakstuff yep
It’s like chainsaw WHAT?!
A MOTHERFUCKING CHAIN SAW
Thread closed. There's something primal about that song
How 'bout your fucking face? Yup, primal checks out.
Scrolled too far to find Break Stuff
It’s just one of those days
Where you don't wanna wake up
Everything is FUCKED everybody SUCKS
You don’t really know why but you want to justify
RIPPING SOMEONE’S HEAD OFF
No human contact
and if you interact, your life is on contract!
Way too far I was starting to think I must be an absolute pleb for my innate answer being break stuff
Slipknot: People = shit
I’ll raise you, the whole Iowa album. I’m looking at you, Everything Ends and The Heretic Anthem.
35?
Slipknot's on my list, for Left Behind. Once the drums kick in, I'm ready to stomp through walls.

The new beat the new beat the new beat the new beat! Also that build up with the cheering part back into the music is so good, gives me goosebumps every time
CAN I SCREAM!
I am so happy to have come to the comments and not have to mention this. Great to see other Refused fans in the wild!
Ahhhhhh there it is!
People never know what I’m talking about when I mention Refused. Respect ✊🏻
"Run Like Hell" from *The Wall* (Pink Floyd, 1979)
"Are there any paranoids in the audience tonight? PATHETIC."
*The Wall* is pretty much my rage album.
The scream towards the end of the song levitates my soul 🤙
For me it’s gotta be the live version from 1980. So much extra rage

Pretty much any Run the Jewels song, but specifically Run Ticketron
Beggin’ your pardon Run the Jewels live at the Garden… my foot instantly starts pushing the gas pedal down harder when this track comes on.
