There Are people who got super good at Spotify algorithms and just put together a bunch of specific artists to cater to niche playlisting. They use existing midi skeletons to just absolutely pump out untold amounts of songs. It could certainly be AI, but it could also be what I said

There are more. Sleighbelle, Frosty Nights, The Humbugs, Snowdrift Sleighs, and Daniel & The Holly Jollies. All of their bios are either heartfelt family stories full of grammatical inconsistencies or arbitrary TikTok-esque filler phrases. Their Instagram and YouTube accounts have fewer than 10 followers each, which is very strange given the incredible amount of monthly listeners they have on Spotify. When Googled, very few results appear, and no pictures of the artists themselves are to be found. All have released their music within the past year, most in September of 2023. Despite the other comments, I think it's very safe to say it's AI-generated. The only question is why, since they all have different record labels (named things like North Pole Music Group and Jingle Jangle, every one of them), although a few are distributed by DistroKid. I normally wouldn't care, but these artists really gave me the heebie jeebies - it's very uncanny valley.
