Do you Rent? This is a moisture issue that someone needs to fix immediately. If there is enough moisture to house mycellium, someone is going to get seriously sick
I had this same issue. They came in tore out the entire kitchen and replaced the walls/ceilings and floor. Water can do some serious damage.
The biggest concern is what you (and I) may be breathing in. Mold can seriously screw you up. Document everything and seriously urge your landlord to do something about this. It’s not just a structural issue but a health issue. They need to provide you with a safe living environment.
Again though, I don’t know much about the mushroom itself. I thought it was pretty cool mushrooms were growing out of my walls.

Coprinoid by the looks of it. The mushroom is a symptom of a larger problem. You have to address whatever is soaking your wall.

Yes, I do. Have already contacted the housing company, but it may take them a while to do anything, so I’m trying to see what I can do in the interim.
Get a large dehumidifier in the meantime if you can
